Buyer beware. This company does not do a thorough review of your home. They wrongly identified that the windows were hurricane rated (requiring them to come back and confirm that they were not) and did not thoroughly search the city records to determine the age of the roof (which was older than they stated). They acknowledged the problem and offered a free inspection next time. After telling them that I would not be using them next time, they refunded a measly amount from the amount I paid for the inspection. Fast forward 4 months living in the house and we find we have extensive electrical issues including a fire hazard causing us to spend a lot of money to fix it. This should have been identified by their inspectors but nothing was written in their report about it. Our AC ducting is also in poor condition requiring full replacement including a new AC unit. They claim that their report stated it however the extent of the damage was very vague and minimized the extend of damage/wear. read more

I had a huge mold problem in my apt -- the vents for the condo were bringing hot air IN -- instead of expelling OUT -- thus creating a huge water/moisture issue and, in turn, massive mold problem. Efrain and his team (foremost Eddy) were stellar. EM was great to work with. Incredibly responsive. Got out there asap and did a very comprehensive job on the necessary inspections (a few x) so that the remediator could remove the mold (thereafter EM comes back to ensure it is all gone..the spores count is adequately low). I used their professional services twice for my own purchase and recommended them to my clients and friends at least 30 times and every time received a positive feedback. Inspectors really take their time to review in and outs of the property and to discover the flaws that are not visible to the naked eye. After all this is one hires an inspection company. Inspectors walk through the property with the buyer and go over details verbally before proving a report, which is usually ready within 24 hours from the inspection. They include a windstorm mitigation report and 4-point inspection reports free on residential properties. These reports usually cost additional $200-300 when one using another inspection company. Its a small company that cares and at the same time they are big enough to accommodate next day inspections when needed. read more

Had an inspection done to my house by this company. - they reported stove didn't work. I cook on it everyday, and keep cooking on it. Inspector didn't know how to operate it. - reported pool heated didn't work. Heater was off as we don't use it during hot months. Inspector didn't know how to operate it. - rated the efficiency of clothes washer as poor. Washer is 1 week old, we just got it. - light bulbs stop working after inspection. - rated poor lanscaping maintenance since we had to cut a tree that felt after hurricane, really! According to him the house was in great condition less than 2 months latter we have to replace all the plumbing of the house and structure of the ceiling!!!
