Beautiful historic Penasco Presbyterian Church. Not sure when it was built, but it has that cozy vibe of folks taking care of her with love for many years. I attended a Workshop (Strategies for Non-Profits) in early winter. The large Meeting Room we used had the feeling of an older classroom. It accommodated the attendees (20+) with room to spare. The classroom was next to a well-equipped kitchen so, although we brought a prepared lunch, we could have prepared it there. My only complaint was that it was a sunny but cold day and the loud heater keep going off & on. It was noisy, but we were toasty warm. Centrally located In a small mountain village (Penasco) this church Meeting Hall was a perfect place for a group of the community to meet. I give them 5 stars for a really good place to meet just 15 miles from Taos, NM. Next time I'm in that neck of the mountains I must attend a Sunday Service. read more
