It is only fairly small as it is a Tesco Express but it is so much nicer than the awful Tesco Metro in the city centre. It has really good opening times and is much cheaper than the Spar just up the road. The shops stocks plenty of basics but also lots of things that you could just pick on the way home. there are self service tills so you don't have to queue for so long.

They have bread, fruit and veg, dairy a frozen bit, biscuits, tea and coffee , a few toiletries, soft drinks, alcohol, cigarrettes. One good thing about this store is their compostable carrier bags which seems to be a brilliant idea! I was amused to see they took a stance this year at halloween of responsible egg selling. As it is quite a small shop, they always run out of Special Deals really quickly and you will be lucky to get bread or milk after about 7pm. There is quite a large wine and beer section which is handy and a small freezer and fridge section too. They do sell newspapers but not magazines.
