Out here for a conference. Really like the layout of the room, a suite with a living room, bathroom and bedroom. Very spacious. This place also offers complimentary breakfast during your stay. They also offer evening reception at the bar - one complimentary drink. The sound proof was not that good. When I was in the living room, I can hear the noise outside in the lobby. But there is a door for the bedroom. Closing the door may make the bedroom a bit quiet. read more

This hotel stay was hubs' choice due to completing jobs here. I have not had amazing experiences at Embassy Suites, but not super negative experiences either. Both times I stayed here was for a week and both happened to fall on my birthday week. I was so excited because my first time here was my first time in Chicago ever. We arrived my first time earlier than check in but we figured we might try to settle in and get the whole process over with ASAP. This hotel is so complicated. When you leave the parking garage to get to the hotel, you have to take an elevator. That elevator leads to the ground level to exit the hotel but to get to the lobby, you have to take another elevator. That leads to the gift shop, business center, lobby, check in, and restaurant. THEN there are other sets of elevators to take you to your room. My first stay here was amazing. The bartenders were great for reception hour, the breakfast, reception hour, and dining staff were awesome as well. The only issue I had the first time was a crusty remote and housekeeping arguing with us about our late check out. The opposite happened my second visit. My second visit was just so defeating. Everyone and their mother decided to stay here so the wait line was at least 20 minutes for reception hour. There are usually 4 elevators and only 2 were working while we were there. Actually only one was working many times because of the overload. We didn't order food from the restaurant because from what we observed, we did not want the headaches. The staff messed up most orders, people were waiting for over 35 minutes for their food, the staff were short with customers. The only bartender we liked was most likely a manager because he had a white shirt on. He was the only one generous with our drinks. The breakfast at this Embassy is actually our favorite. The way everything is spaced works and the line is moving quickly here for the omelette station. I do not recall items not being replenished and staff is always on top of it. The reception hour however, can be rough. There is only a small table with snacks and they really don't mix it up. This was sadly the worst Embassy Suites experience I've ever had. We love the ES and have been fans for decades because my dad swoons over the breakfast, but this ES was beyond horrible. First be aware: there are hidden fees disguised as a daily $25 destination charge, $16 laundry charge and premium wifi. You can't opt out of this. It is taken from your $300 deposit. Second: forget about using the elevators. Two were out of use due to maintenance so people were literally either standing in line for over 10 minutes for the elevator or taking the stairs up and down 8 or 9 floors. Terrible if you have chronic pain and can't stand for long. Third: It's overcrowded and practically a circus. If you can manage to get on the elevator to make it down to breakfast, you'll have to battle the ridiculously long lines and have nowhere to sit. That's even if you go when it opens at 7:30am. Parking is $65/night. You can't use a trolly to take your own bags to your room. Although much of the staff here is more robotic and lacking empathy, I did manage to have a lovely lovely experience with manager Sonja. read more

We have become fans of Chicago and have visited now twice; once in the Fall and this time in December. We are Hilton folks and wanted to try this hotel due to the central location. We are perfectly happy with the consistency with Embassy Suites. The rooms aren't anything special but they are clean and comfortable. We were placed into a room that was part of a special event though we hadn't asked for it. The special was a treat basket full of snacks, juice and soft drinks. Yummy!! Overall, the free breakfast is good and can be crowded depending on when you go. Happy hour beverage is good, snacks are drab. A few chips and that's about it. A great place to stay while in Chicago and certainly with kids. The place was busy since it's the holiday season. read more

We chose this hotel for our 4th of July trip to Chicago. One of the reasons we chose it was we wanted a room at a top floor to take in the views of the city and Lake Michigan. On that score, this hotel did not disappoint. We got the room of our choice on the floor of our choice. The rooms were spacious enough and the views were magnificent. That's where the good times ended. Bear with me as I go through a litany of complaints about this hotel. 1. On the second day of our stay, we had a late start and were still in our room when housekeeping knocked. We told them to come back later. We set out later in the day and came back to a room that looked exactly like how we had left it. This is inexcusable. We usually keep our rooms clean so we did not bother calling them again but this was a miss on their part. 2. This is a massive hotel that had massive crowds for the 4th of July weekend. There are 4 sets of elevators out of which 2 were out of service. Imagine the wait times to get on and off an elevator, especially if your room's on the 17th floor! 3. Breakfast is complimentary but I wish we had not partaken of it. The lines were long, there was a crush of people at every station and it looked more like food aid arriving in a disaster zone than a hotel breakfast. Besides, there were no modifications to the menu on successive days. 4. There was this irritating 'check' during breakfast time of a card given by the hotel to verify you were a guest. Really? You can't keep track of this? 5. The staff, overall weren't very friendly. As some other reviewer mentioned, they sure looked like automatons from your favorite Arnold movie. There was no warmth and no personalization. So, overall although our stay (and I use this term in a literal sense to mean the stay in our room) was comfortable, I would not choose this hotel again for it's lack of attention to matters that should be default for any hotel chain worth it's salt. read more

Elevator situation was pretty rough. I wouldn't return with kids until I know both the elevators are working. Breakfast was good but a madhouse. They definitely don't have enough staff to handle a rush, at the front desk, breakfast or the bar. Check in took a long time. The rooms and mattresses were pretty dirty (gross stained) and beat up bathrooms (rust everywhere, peeling tub). I'd rather splurge and go to a nicer spot next time I'm in town. They illegally charged $1081.12 my card on top of the room fee and extra $200 more than what I was told I had to pay upfront before I even checked in because they would not hold my room if I didn't, and refused to make it right. They don't answer phones and don't help at all. Can't get in touch with a competent manager after leaving 10+ messages once the charges kept popping up on my card. attached is the bank statement with all the fees if you stay at this horrible hotel for one night it'll cost you $1600 and your piece of mind better off sleeping in a car. read more

We were really hoping to write a stellar review of our recent stay at Embassy Suites, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case this time around. To start with the positives, the room and suite were very comfortable -- spacious, clean, and nicely laid out. The location is also excellent, within walking distance of The Bean and plenty of great restaurants and shops, which made exploring the city really enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast is another highlight, especially the made-to-order omelets and hot options. Just be sure to get there early, because the line for omelets can get long during peak times. However, several issues made the experience less than ideal. The shower amenities, which are mounted on the wall (gel, conditioner, shampoo), are a nice concept -- but during my shower, the conditioner dispenser actually fell off the wall into the tub, nearly hitting my foot. It could have been a minor accident waiting to happen. On top of that, both phones in the room were broken, so maintenance had to come up and fix all three things (the dispenser and the two phones). We also had some frustration with the hotel restaurant and bar. The front desk told us it would open at 3 p.m., but that turned out not to be the case. When it finally did open, we were told it would be at least 30 minutes before food could be served -- not exactly what you want to hear after waiting around. We ended up speaking with the manager, who was very professional and understanding. She handled it well by sending us to the main restaurant on the hotel's lobby level, where our bill was covered. That gesture was appreciated and showed good customer service. The elevators were another challenge, as one set of elevator banks was being renovated, leading to long waits at busy times. And even though we were on the 10th floor, we were awakened around 4 a.m. by a fire engine horn blaring outside -- not the hotel's fault, of course, but something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. A quick tip: be sure to give your Hilton Honors number at check-in so you can earn points and rewards for your stay. Overall, Embassy Suites has a lot going for it -- a great location, spacious rooms, and a solid breakfast -- but the maintenance problems, restaurant confusion, and elevator delays took away from what could have been a five-star stay. I loved my stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. It was clear from moment one that the location would make my trip unforgettable. While most people rave about the large rooms, free cooked-to-order breakfast and happy hour cocktails, I loved the hotel location! The housekeeping staff also make sure the rooms are spotless. I was in a suite on the 15th floor with amazing views and the room even had three sinks. I found that extra space made getting ready much easier. The gym was good. The elevators were fast. As for the hotel, we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean and a great price for the city. The hotel staff was very accommodating, helping us to get whatever extras we needed for our stay. Towels, bedding, toiletrie, exc. They also had great recommendations for us to try while visiting. Checking in was smooth and we were provided several amenities we didn't expect. Such as, a dining credit and upgraded WiFi. Our only dilemma was the parking situation. We drive a large truck and did not fit into the parking garage. They did not have oversized parking and we were left to take a risk on whatever public parking lot we could find. If you are able to fit in their shared garage.. parking is pricy. $60 a night or $80 for valet. No laundry on site, dry cleaning only. Though they do provide you with a small credit. You also get 2 free adult beverages from 5-7 at the bar. Well drinks, or house beer/wine. Also they provide you with a $25 food voucher you can use at their restaurant. The food is priced high, so you don't get much, much you can definitely make it work! Little incentives here and there to bring in business. Very well located in the downtown area. We felt confident to walk the streets to our destinations. Breakfast is from 6-9 and is a sit down, single order experience. Make sure your reservation reflects your true amount of guests staying with you or you will not receive enough vouchers. read more

This was the worst hotel I've ever experienced in my 50 years of life. We brought our family on a vacation in Chicago and booked this hotel in the hopes of having a comfortable stay. We were told the rooms would accommodate a family of four comfortably. Unfortunately, the walls are paper, thin, and you can hear everyone all around you. Housekeeping is sparse and sporadic. We had to constantly call the front desk to get new towels and clean sheets. The pool is absolutely filthy with loads of human hair and debris inside the water. The water is murky and unclear and the hotel deck chairs near the pool are filthy. The air conditioner broke and we had to have someone come and repair it and even with the repair it was still weak, and this was during a very high heat wave week in the city. The Security is a joke. Kids were running all over knocking on doors and disrupting other families. The culture of the hotel seems to attract people who really just want to park their kids in a hotel room and go down to the lounge to drink. The breakfast area was a zoo in the morning. It was a messy buffet and very crowded. Long lines and complete chaos in the morning and during their happy hour. The beds are tiny and uncomfortable. They're full-size beds are literally the size of a twin and can only sleep one person. The pullout couches are very uncomfortable Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The Good: The room was clean and spacious. The Very Bad: The elevator situation was completely unacceptable. Out of four elevators, only one--and possibly a second--was working. For a hotel with 455 rooms, this is inexcusable. The result was constant, extremely long lines just to get to your room or leave the building. Two elevators were completely out of service, making an already bad situation worse. If you're staying on the 9th floor, expect to watch elevator after elevator pass you by without stopping. I had an extremely unsettling and disappointing stay at this Embassy Suites. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt unsafe and completely out of control. There was unrestricted access to the elevators and guest room floors, with no keycard enforcement at all. As a result, several groups booked rooms and then hosted large parties for people who were not hotel guests. Many of these attendees were clearly underage and were openly drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, and blasting loud music late into the night. Hallways were chaotic and intimidating. It reached the point where the police had to be called, and multiple people were arrested. That alone should tell you how badly this property is being managed. The overall atmosphere felt more like a ghetto than a hotel that is supposed to represent the Embassy Suites brand. We never felt comfortable or secure during our stay. To make matters worse, one entire bank of elevators was out of service. This caused extremely long waits just to get to our room, adding even more frustration to an already miserable experience. And despite all of this, the hotel had the audacity to charge a $25 per day "destination fee." For what exactly? Broken elevators, unsafe conditions, and police activity in the hallways? This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Poor security, poor management, and zero accountability. I would strongly advise anyone to stay elsewhere unless you enjoy chaos, noise, and feeling unsafe during your trip. read more

I am one of their diamond members for a decade running, so I have a very good frame of reference. In fact, I was staying in 4 different embassy suites in a row before this all happened. Very negative experience - worst ever at an Embassy brand. Found the staff to be extremely rude and unhelpful. WiFi was mostly unavailable and unstable in a building that is so large it blocks cell signal. Broken items in room with a tub that didn't drain and a toilet that runs. Curtains that are broken with parts on the floor and don't close all the way - in a brightly lit city with an eastern facing view! It was a 40 minute wait for breakfast which is unreal. They told me I could have an extended check out but checked me out at the normal time causing an inconvenience. I tried to change my check out date three times prior to arrival and a live hotel employee told me three times that they simply wouldn't help me. Not that they couldn't. That they wouldn't. I had very negative interactions with "bots" - Hilton now contacts you with bots asking you questions, when you answer the question. The info just goes into a void. I gave the property two chances to fix my issues while there and they failed to do so. And being rude to my children is just a bridge too far. Eventually the manager Jose Rodriguez asked me to call him. I did. The staff kept me on hold for four minutes, told me there were "no Notes in my file" and that I was "all set". Jose had asked ME to call HIM to "make things right" but they didn't take a message, give me his voicemail or try and fix anything by. Simply told me I was "all set". We had a fantastic stay at the Embassy Suites! Our room was upgraded by the staff member at the front desk to a holiday suite and it made our stay so much more memorable, magical and special!!! I hope the staff member who checked us in knows how much it made our entire visit! We originally booked a room with a city view and our holiday suite absolutely had a stunning view for us, too. The breakfast offered each morning was delicious! The pool was great and the pool area included a sauna and that was awesome too. The hotel was conveniently located. There was so much to like about staying here! I would say like most hotels the bathroom could use some extra TLC. One of our folded towels was either dirty or stained and either way it really grossed me out. The tub portion of the shower looked a bit worn and dirty. And there was some mold growing on the ceiling above the shower. Overall, this place was stunning with so many things to enjoy about staying specifically here. For me it comes down to this one question: would I suggest this place for family & friends traveling to Chicago? Absolutely yes I would and we'd stay here again on future visits. read more

Room (16th Floor) had an amazing view of Lake Michigan. Breakfast was superior! Cooked to order is more than just eggs. I had their daily special of quinoa and veggies along side my eggs. Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Evening reception leaves a little to be desired. "Free" beer selection is weak as is the selection of appetizers - they only had chips/salsa, mixed nuts and cheese cubes. Indoor pool area was very nice - clean and no excessive chlorine odors. This has become our "go to" spot when we want to stay in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area of Chicago. We have stayed here four times for volleyball tournaments at Navy Pier, which is an easy 20-minute walk from the hotel. You're also close to several dining options, Michigan Ave and there are several parking garages close by that offer prices competitive with the hotel parking. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The free breakfast is delicious, and we've enjoyed the afternoon reception with a drinks and snacks. The hotel restaurant is also surprisingly good - a little overpriced (as most hotel restaurants tend to be), but a good option if you don't feel like venturing out to the surrounding area. It's perhaps not the most luxurious hotel in the Mag Mile but gives you quite a bit of value for the price. read more

Avoid at all costs! The rooms are dilapidated, NO hot water on a Monday at 17:00 , Dirt stains in the bathtub....if it weren't for the staff, this place would be a total loss! I've stayed at a LOT of Hilton properties around the World and this one is ridiculously sub-par! The pull out bed had a huge sunken middle, the blinds to the hallway were broken, the bathroom mirror was peeling away from the borders and even had a sticker in the middle of it that had never been removed. Even free breakfast doesn't make this place worth a dime. Fortunately, the staff are friendly. But, if you don't want to stay in squalor, with schizophrenic thermostat, and sometimes-working hot water, avoid this dump. Hilton, you should be ashamed this place carries your name. Where oh where do I start? Buckle up. 1. No running water starting at 10pm. Meaning whatever plans you have must end early if you want to come back and shower, brush your teeth, wash your hands, or take a dump. 2. There is construction AT NIGHT. After being forced to retire early at 10pm, expect random noises and vibrations throughout the night. 3. The room we checked into smelled like poop and mold. Only after our toddler sat in front of the fridge did we realize that it was leaking and the carpet was soaked (and so were his pants). The fridge door was broken and couldn't be closed. Thankfully they moved us to a new room...which we had to abandon again later (see next point). 4. The people in the room next to us were extremely loud at 12:30am, potentially throwing a party. Tried calling the front desk to complain, but no one was answering. So I had to personally go down and walk over to the front desk and tell them. Thankfully they sent security. We had to complain twice as the first complaint was ignored by the loud hotel guests. They eventually quieted down, but not without coming to our front door and verbally harassing my family through the door at 1am. They were hostile to us the next morning, so we requested yet another room change. 5. Good luck calling the front desk. No one will pick up. 6. Speaking of front desk, the lines are extremely long, seemingly at all hours of the day. Understaffed is an understatement. 7. Speaking of calling, the phone in the bedroom didn't seem to work. We found out why: it wasn't even connected lol 8. After three nights, our room was still not serviced despite multiple requests. Our trash was piling up, and we ran out of towels. 9. Turned on the water in the kitchen faucet, and the water was brown. 10. Ordered dinner (pizzas and a chicken quesadilla) at the lobby bar at 9:40pm. I asked if I can come back in 15 minutes to get the food. Was told it was probably gonna take over 40 minutes! Meaning the water was already going to be turned off and they're still making food! I guess hand washing isn't important? 11. And saving the best for last: the mouth guard I use for sleeping accidentally fell from the nightstand onto the floor next to the bed. I immediately picked it up to find a random pubic hair attached to it. Black, curly, and stringy. Definitely a pube. Tried to wash it right away...oh wait there's no water! Like other downtown Embassy locations I've been to, check in is not available upon entry. You have to get on an elevator to the main lobby area. Check in took about 10 minutes because it was a bit busy but was seamless. We did not pay for a city or lake view but were placed in room 802 that had an AMAZING view. It was mostly a city view, but to the left you could also see the lake. The elevators took a while sometimes but it wasn't too bad. The breakfast wasn't delicious but it was good enough. The evening reception was okay - the snacks were pretty basic (cheese, pretzels, old vegetables and ranch) and the bartenders weren't that friendly but very quick and dealt with the foot traffic expeditiously. Both the host at breakfast and the bartenders at the evening reception check for the vouchers given at check in. The location is ideal for Michigan Avenue and Navy Pier attractions. Most ubers to main attractions were less than $10 and walking is an option. read more

Arrived for a long weekend with my family. The hotel room was very aged and falling apart. The room was not stocked with towels - had to ask for more standard items. Didn't feel safe in the hotel. A group of 5 boys followed me into the elevator and to my room. No security to be found. Pool was consistently overcrowded. Other kids were not supervised and playing rough too close to my little kids. Day 2: even worse! Pool was freezing cold - my kid's face turned blue! Pool was even more crowded and teens again were in the deep end when they couldn't swim and one actually grabbed my 4 yr old little tube with her in it!! And there were NO TOWELS. Day 3: Even after reporting the pool issues to the desk staff it continued to be ice cubes - no improvement. Breakfast was also crazy. 25+ min for an omelette. No place to sit. Day 4: After the rush went home the hotel brought out good items on the buffet - why wasn't I given these on the first days of my trip? Evening drinks: We didn't get to use our vouchers since 35+ people were in line. I'm definitely not staying here again. read more

Bed bugs! If I could give zero stars I would. The first night my daughter went to bed with no bites/marks on her and woke up with nearly two dozen bites on her shoulders and back. The hotel denied any issues with bed bugs - even though when I spoke to them about it they said, "yes, you called earlier?", which I hadn't so clearly another guest also had issues. It was Thanksgiving weekend so impossible to switch hotels. They did let us move rooms after I insisted and gave us an insulting 10% discount on our stay. Meanwhile my daughter had an allergic reaction to the bites and is covered in angry red/purple bruises all over her back. The worst part was the lack of empathy from the hotel, they denied everything, I now what it feels like to be gaslighted! read more

We exited our taxi to check in to this stunning, modern property for a 3 night stay. We are here in Chicago to celebrate the marriage of my dear Godchild/niece. Location couldn't be better. Right in the Miracle Mike and within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. It was a busy Friday afternoon and there was a line to get checked in and assigned a room. The two young ladies were joined by a third and worked diligently to provide quality customer service to everyone. A family member had recommended this property and made several room reservations months ago. There was a large lobby and a large bar cordoned off at that time but more about that later. Our room was on the 10th floor. It was spotless. A pleasant living area with plenty of seating and a small dining/desk area . There was also a big flat screen TV. The bathroom -again spotless with large dispensers fit body wash, shampoo & conditioner within the tub/shower area. Vanity and sink with hand soap dispenser and body lotion dispenser. Large vanity and of course a commode. Across from the bathroom was a coffee/tea bar and dorm size refrigerator. Plenty of coffee, tea creamers, cups etc. stocked it. The sleeping area had a separate door, a king bed and large picture window. City view with a tiny exposed portion of both Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. There is a huge celebration downtown in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and we arrived back to our room last night in time for a fireworks display! Bed was comfortable with quality linens. I've never experienced such a large eating area and the breakfast offered could not have been better. Service with a "Good Morning " and a smile. Cooked to order omelets and any other style egg your heart desires. Bacon, Potatoes- huge bar of fruits, a juice , coffee & milk area, Dozens of bakery items, pancakes, oatmeal (my choice and old fashioned oats cooked to perfection), cold cereal, toast, breads, bagels. No doubt the most extraordinary free breakfast option EVER! Now then-we also can partake in a free "happy hour " with light snacks, beer, soda and wine which we will check out Sunday evening. We stayed a few weekends ago and I'm just getting to this review, but all around we unfortunately did not have a good stay. The room was dirty. There was food left on the ground from the previous guest. Even the lamp shades were disgusting. To top it off, the bartenders are something else to say the least. For happy hour my wife and I would alternate getting drinks while the other stayed back with the kids. Every time I went up for a refill they would mark my card. Every time my wife went up, they would just give her the drink without marking her card. While I appreciate sending my wife back up for the free drinks its a completely sexist move and quite frankly, unacceptable. This didn't just happen the first night, but our entire stay. The pool during our stay was also gross. There were chunks of hair on the pool deck and used band aides on the filter returns. On a positive note, and the only one that I can think of right off, the parking structure was a breeze. While there isn't any diamond parking spots, it was still easy to get in, out and up to our rooms. Unfortunately, I'm not sure we will ever be back to this particular hotel. read more

No hot water. They came to fix it ripped apart the tub left it filthy. The maintenance guy was great but they could had house keeping clean up. Missed 2 client meetings, ruined suit & after an hour of going back and forth they offered me 1/2 off 1 night stay. I've been staying at Hilton's for 30 years & I'm extremely disappointed in how they handled this. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional & let alone the health risk of a dirty bathroom left torn apart when I'm in the middle of getting ready. Giving a 2 just because much of the working staff were very nice. Management was rude & unbecoming of anything I've seen in the service industry. That's why people go to Las Vegas for conferences to avoid this type of a horrible experience at a professional event. read more

Okay stay! This hotel is kind of dated but it was close to the things we wanted to do. We enjoyed being across from Whole Foods! I normally enjoy Embassy Breakfast but the food here was lacking. My made to order omelette lacked flavor. The other item were lackluster as well. The only thing I really enjoyed was the bacon and muffins. As far as the rooms, the beds were pretty comfortable but the walls were very thin. I heard a child crying constantly. My view of the city was nice. If you can afford to spend a little more for a nicer hotel, do so. read more

We had an amazing stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. We stayed from 18-21 June 2024. The staff were absolutely amazing, the front staff gave us a great welcome. The best part of our stay were the evening reception, the bartenders were an absolute blast. The breakfast was also pretty good, the cook to order breakfast was a real plus. The hotel is nested within walking distance to a lot of Chicago attractions which was a bonus for sightseeing. The next time we come to the Windy City, we will definitely stay here again. read more

The customer service at this location was top-notch. We are Hilton Honors customers (well worth it - we stay at Hilton properties a couple of times per year). The app was easy to use and the ability to text with staff was really helpful. We were able to park earlier than our check-in, our room was ready early, the staff was eager to make recommendations for activities and restaurants. We had a few minor technical difficulties with our room and they were very quick to respond. The staff at breakfast were incredibly accommodating for my children's food allergies. The location was amazing - easy walking to many locations. There were a number of nice restaurants available a short walk away. We didn't have to leave the building to access our parking. While the building is showing some wear and tear due to age, it was clean and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel. read more

We spontaneously took late trip to chicago and needed a room for the night. Some specifications that drew us to this hotel were the location, pricing and a pool. The location was in a great spot to walk around and walk to the Navy Pierre. Especially in Chicago, parking is expensive and not easy to find. You'll definitely be grateful that you're walking distance to some great attractions in chicago. They also had a nice drive up to drop off youre stuff and then the parking garage is right next door for $48 a night. It was around $260 per night for a king bed. That king bed was worth it. Very comfortable. The room itself had a beautiful view of the city. Take a look of the photo I took from our room view! The shower was not our favorite. The water came out of the shower head, sprayed too wide, and spilled water all over the floor. You also get a complementary breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, we are not early risers and didn't wake up in time for that. Another thing that happened was, we went to go get ice and FORGOT our card to get back in lol. Since we didn't have our ID either, security had to meet us at our room and let us in. The staff were friendly, I didn't feel embarrassed or judged once by them! I stood in line for an hour and an hour past the check-in time. I now have to wait with no approximate time for a room. This isn't starting out well, if it was my choice I would be at a Marriott hotel. However, the conference planners is hosting at this hotel, so it's whatever I get apparently. They didn't offer anything to compensate for the inconvenience and was very matter of fact. Not a proper conference host with mediocre at best facilities. Very disappointed and also not surprised, service has no standards today. read more
