I think this speaks volumes to the spa because if my nail tech can speak about the product it makes me more comfortable about what is being put onto my body. The only downside is scheduling, I feel like Design One is a bit understaffed unfortunately, so getting in can be a challenge. I always try to book far in advance to make sure I get what I need. Although, I know they do sometimes have walk in appointments. Other services offered here include hair cuts, make up, and massages. I have not gotten my hair or make up done here, but I have gotten a few massages. The spa portion is very calm, and I think they do a decent job with the services. You wait outside, they telephone you to let you know you can come in (capacity management), you get your temperature taken, masks are required (they might have extras if you forget yours), and the checkout and payment process is contactless and sanitized between each client. It's a very respectable set-up. They adapt well to the needs of the public and put people above profits. I had only seen this gal three times. Did a nice job but last time I went my hair was longer on one side than the other, now my hair can be deceiving it's thick. It has a natural wave to it and when I get a cut it takes a day or two to settle down after it settle down It was longer on one side than the other so I called to get in to see if I can get it fixed first of all she was booked and couldn't get me in, I didn't have to wait long now but still it was an inconvenience. I went in she fix the side asked me if it was OK I said Yep it appears to be the next day after I washed it the other side needed a little thinning out, so I contacted her and asked if I could get back in, when I read the reply, I was absolutely shocked. She told me no she told me that if she trimmed up the other side, it would end up being way too thin and I would not be happy. I know my own hair what she should've said was let's make an appointment. I'll get you in here and will check it out, that is the worst customer service I have ever experienced I didn't even know how to reply at the end of her message she told me I just want you to be happy. I told her thank you you have a nice day. I found another hairstylist and she fixed it. I was completely satisfied, this hairstylist was at another company so I called angle salon left a message cancel my appointment and said we weren't hair compatible. I am not naming her name. She knows who she is. I just want to let her know now I am happy and then I wish you the best, this behavior was 100% not acceptable.
