I called St Lukes in Jerome to speak to an advice nurse regarding symptoms my mom was having. I was…read morehung up on 5 times!!! Nobody wanted to speak with me. Turns out, they don't even have an advice nurse. What they could have done was to direct me to, or connect me with my mom's physician's after hours number. None of them were willing to help or were not educated on how to direct people to the correct department. On the 6th attempt at speaking with someone, I was finally connected to an after hours advice nurse through her insurance carrier in Arizona! The nurses and staff lacked empathy and had no desire to assist us at all.

Experiencing what diagnostics and presented symptoms would tell you are…read moreclassic signs of a heart attack, with the exceptiion that Tropinin levels were one point below the 'cut off'. After several hours, sent me home telling me it was indigestion. I realize now, the ER nurse was tryi g to get me to go to the Twin Falls ER. Next day, back at ER with another heart attack and was finally sent to cardiology. Lesson learned is that you should not go to Jerome ER and if Doc Johnson is there, run away.
