    Unacceptable Customer Service from Stormclad In May 2023, I…read morehad Stormclad install a new front door for my home. While the door installation itself was satisfactory, I have encountered a major issue with the lock that has led to an extremely poor customer service experience. Approximately two months ago, in January 2024, the lock on the newly installed door stopped functioning properly. I promptly contacted Stormclad to report the issue and request service. Despite multiple attempts to reach them via phone and email over the past 10 weeks, the company has failed to respond or acknowledge my requests for assistance. The lack of any response from Stormclad regarding a defective lock on their recently installed product is unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expect a reasonable level of after-sales service and support, which they have failed to provide. While I have had a few relatively minor issues resolved satisfactorily with Stormclad in the past for previous door/window installations, their complete absence of any communication or customer service in this case is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I am currently escalating this case through other channels, but I wanted to make Stormclad directly aware that this level of indifferent response to a product issue is detrimental to their reputation and will factor into my decision on whether to recommend or utilize their services again in the future. Please respond promptly with a proposed resolution for having the lock repaired or replaced. A 10 week period of complete unresponsiveness is unacceptable for an issue impacting the basic security and functionality of my home's entrance.

    Deposit lost Signed…read morea contract for a conservatory in December and paid a £2900 deposit. We were advised no planning permission was required. Following a survey it was discovered planning was needed and we were asked to pay another £500 for planning costs. The planning application came back in March with conditions attached. We didn't like the changes enforced as this wasn't what we agreed to when signing the contract so asked to cancel the contract. We were told we are only entitled to a £565.60 refund as the company have incurred sales, marketing and administration costs. We have lost £2834.40 through no fault of our own. We cannot have the specification we paid for and we cannot get our deposit back either. No materials have been ordered and we paid extra for the planning application. Had we have know this was the risk we were entering into when signing the contract we would never have paid over our deposit.

    Work done by this company is very poor leaving me to spend much more money to rectify problems…read more This company has been reported to trading standards and has a record. Contracted work to them to build a conservatory which after a year started splitting from the house as it was not tied to the walls. Contracted the company to build an brick built outbuilding in 2015 and we now in 2017 and the work has not completed nor does the company want to do anymore work. The payment from original cost agreed has now exceeded but nearly 50% and they keep requesting for more money. They take advantage of their customers by being dishonest them when honoring any warranty work. If you had an issue with any work they become very aggressive and take years to rectify warranty work. All my windows failed within the first 3 years of installation and are still failing. They replaced 4 windows in the conservatory that took them 3 years to replace after constantly complaining. They were originally contracted to install windows and a conservatory with devastating results. To get problems rectified and their promises to sort the problems they begged for us to give them more work . That work was to convert the existing garage to a living accommodation and to build an outbuilding to store garage items. The wall cavities are left without enclosures, no windows boards, windows missing, sealants not applied, second hand bricks and material used not to mention very poor workmanship by their contracted workers. Legal action is now on its way. Anyone who wishes to see the proof are welcome to email me and are more than welcome to very validity of my claims as the salesman will lie to make his sale.
