It has to be signed by Pauline Ballesteros the ADN coordinator, she has had my paperwork for almost a month now and still can't seem to get around to it. She claims to be busy with other stuff, every time I call and she actually happens to answer the phone, she says it will be done by the end of the week and it never is. Ranking in June is very important to me and it's all in her hand. I have sent many email and call many time, most of the time she won't answer and won't respond to my emails unless I re-send them a bunch of times. I'm pretty much begging her to do her job at this point. Epcc needs to have a better system, if she can't handle all the work she is assigned then maybe she needs an assistant. It's such a hassle to be waiting for this document, she makes it seem like you are bothering her when asking about it. Fellow nurses that I work with warned me about epcc but I didn't think it was this bad. Unfortunately epcc is the cheaper route, reconsider going to another college because these administrators are suppose to help and guide us but they really do give a crap. The don't care that our future is on the line. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews but this experience has been such a hassle that if I can save anyone from dealing with people, than that's the goal. The stress shows on them or they just straight up scream making some stupid analogy to cutting wood that makes no sense. They also close out options or straight out won't let you access things in order to submit papers. Expect to miss grades due to computer glitches on their end or unresponsive professors. Group projects are not actually group projects. One person will take the project and basically do all of it and not let me see it till the end. Voice any problems and people brush it off and tell you to work it out with the blatantly uncooperative people you are telling them about. Half the people that are given parking permits don't need to drive because accidents are regular in the area. Slamming on the breaks when the light is green is normal or blaze through stop signs. The tutoring isn't there for some courses. I called one, and he kept repeating to "not waste his time" and said he would give me the answers to the Java I was working on if I bought him something he called "the information." I didn't come here for this crypitic BS. I went to NMSU to learn. I didn't go to play some weird mindgame with whatever double speak the guy was on about. Stop helping people stalk/harass me. You're not filming a movie. They also had 1 teacher who shouldn't have been there. She barely spoke English, so I dropped her class in about a week. Then there was the time I was continually harassed to drop courses. I was trying to go to a local restaurant in town and got a call every 10 minutes to drop courses. I told them to stop calling, and they'd call back again. The food/resources/books are always available there. You became totally worthless after switching everything to online courses due to COVID.

A lot of the employees in the ICT program are worthless, they've either spent the majority of their…read morecareers in academia with no real world experience or have been out of the job market for so long that they are out of touch. The curriculum is also dated, or certain parts are updated while others aren't, which causes issues during the class in which the professor doesn't actually have the knowledge to assist with. I'm sure there are good advisors, but mine was a child. At the end of the day, you still get an education but if you're going to be paying for it, there are far better places to go to school.

I feel my children are safe and being shown Christian values. I had my other children in public school and there were fights almost on a daily basis. Not here, the children and staff are held to a high standard of conduct. Of course not all the children are saved and make mistakes, but the staff handles it.
