Because I lived so far and work M-F, I could only do a weekend appointment and Rebecca worked with me to accommodate this. I was coming straight from Boston to her studio for a massage and got stuck in awful traffic. She suggested we reschedule so I wouldn't miss any of my session and that I would feel more relaxed than coming out of a huge traffic jam and get more out of the massage. It was very considerate of her. I have had many massages from various places, but a few stand out to me and my massage from Rebecca was one of them. It was perfect. I fell asleep for a little while, which for me is a sign of a great massage. When the session was over, Rebecca waited for me in her office while I got dressed. When I went there to meet her she was doing yoga stretches which I thought was great. Too many of us neglect our bodies, especially throughout the work day. For that ridiculous price, go to the Mayflower or go to Winivan instead and actually be pampered. For standard massage, any of the local towns have plenty of wonderful therapists for a going rate of $130 for 90 minutes. A 20% price increase for what? There's no fairies nor Ascended Masters embodying the place. Stay far away from such ridiculous usury. Well, the only positive I can report is last year st the $150 price she proudly declared she does not no feet or face. At this new $180 level she at least touches the feet somewhat. Very, very disappointed. It's not like we are in a major metropolitan area and the place has incredible accoutrements. It feels disgusting to be ripped off. As my wonderful facialist said, "some people are meant to be body workers and others are not." Ending a massage with an abruptly militant, "massage is over!" and the turning on full force of bright lights, is not the way to keep any good energy flowing.
