There were only a few vegetarian options, a couple of salads and one pasta dish. I ordered the Goat Cheese Salad, which was really just okay. The dressing wasn't especially flavorful and was mostly just oily. There were a variety of vegetables as well as a whole lot of walnuts in the dish. The goat cheese was actually not in the salad, but melted onto little roasts served on top. It was rather unremarkable tasting. My friend goes here all the time and loves this cafe, but I didn't think it was anything special. Maybe it would have appealed to me more if the vegetarian options had been better. I did, however, enjoy a tasty latte with my lunch! The atmosphere is open and relaxed with high ceilings and finely set tables. Two of the walls are made just of glass, so there is a lot natural light, at least when the Danish clouds part and allow the rare sun to shine through.

There's sugar and other condiments by the bar. 2) Space: Located in the basement of a 18th century building, you enter a cozy space with simple, inviting design. Order at the bar and find a table in one of two rooms. For being a small cafe, they make good use of the space and the tables inside. 3) Views: Since it's next to the Parliament, the street just outside the cafe offers perfect photos. There's free, strong wifi. The password is at the bar.

We go there as often as we can afford - for romantic diners, with the family and indeed for business meetings. Actually also when throwing parties in the majestic rooms upstairs. On a good day, they also serve outside, where you can watch all the spectacular cars passing by on Strandvejen. PS, We used to live in Paris, so this is our shortcut to France, though this is much cleaner than a true French brasserie :-)
