Our first visit to Emmy's, and we enjoyed every bit of this place. A party of 4 and seated to our table immediately. The host was very friendly and helpful. The menu had an array of selections from burgers to pizza and salads. The ambience was lit with low lighting, the place was very clean including the restrooms.I had the vodka pizza wish enough for two to share. Let me tell you the pizza was soo good and my wife ordered the Matt burger and she said it was one of the best burgers she ever had! I kept it simple and had soda, which I regretted. My wife had the skinny margarita, and said it was good and had a good amount of liquor in it! This was our last night in New York City and we wanted a little bistro to end our visit. It was almost 6 pm and we did not have a reservation. The Hostess was very helpful and found a great table for us. We were very lucky as it filled up quickly. We started with meatball appetizers followed by a well done (preferred) Big Al's pizza. Both hit the spot and were delicious. Our server, Nayo, was very attentive and pleasant. He enjoyed his job. We will return the next time we are in town. read more

Never experienced this since Covid, they were out of all the beers except Allagash White which of course was the most expensive, waitress said their beer person was off this week!! really didn't occur to you to try fixing the problem? Then we ordered wings, they only had the boneless, regular ones were out, uhh beer distributor fault too?? Pizza was small but good, but will never go back, it just wasn't right not to be out of all those beers so you are forced to get the most expensive or their high priced cocktails. read more

One of the best pizza spots in the city (which also happens to have one of the best burgers) has landed in midtown. I don't think many people know about this location yet, so we all need to show this place some love. Hostess (tall, curly hair) rude and could not be bothered type attitude -- poor representative of your establishment. Service was SLOW - not acknowledged for over 15 minutes -- had to ask for everything (menus, water, plates, utensils, etc) -- bartender could not multi task and should not be there -- watched him apologize to every customer (for being so slow) -- people around us seemed disappointed and were complaining to themselves -- made the dining experience uncomfortable -- Pizza was good. read more

Great pizza, great service, great vibes. I'd been to the Williamsburg location a couple of times when it was new and loved it, so I was really excited when they opened within walking distance of me. Sure enough the experience was just as good. My friend was visiting for Halloween and it was high on her list. We sat at the bar and ended up staying for the drinks long after we'd finished our (amazing) pizza. Bartender (McKayla?) was wonderful and the drinks (the Aperol cocktail) were excellent. We went to Emmy Squared Hell's Kitchen for dinner on Weds eve as we had been to Emily in west village and knew the food was good. Unfortunately had a brutal experience in the Hell's Kitchen location and that was largely down to the service and our particular server. We ordered garlic breadsticks to start and then a pizza for main course. The garlic breadsticks took 50 minutes to arrive. Not 4 minutes after they arrived our pizza arrived. I had said that our starters have only just arrived and I was simply asked 'well what do you want me to do?' I asked could it be kept under the hot shelf to stay warm and she bought it back but then came back out 10 mins later with the pizza and waffle fries again so we just had to eat everything together. At no point was there an apology or anything and we then didn't see our waitress from then on. No question of was everything all right, or did we want another drink etc. We got our bill and settled up without a thank you or anything. Miserable customer service experience which is a shame because the food is very good. read more

Restaurant is very clean - restrooms spotless. And the prices were great - a pleasant surprise for NYC so close to the theater district. This is a hidden gem. We were staying at the Belvedere Hotel while visiting New York and walked past this every day. Finally decided to stop in for lunch, so glad we did. For appetizer we had buzz mozz sticks & a caesar salad. The mozzarella sticks were nice & crunchy & the cheese melted just right. I wasn't sure about the Caesar-anchovy dressing that comes with the salad, so they were nice enough to put it on the side, but it didn't have the fishy taste I was afraid it would due to the anchovy. The salad is just a few leaves of romaine on a plate, not chipped or anything fancy. For entree we ordered the Margherita pizza with a side of waffle fries. Yum!!!!! The pizza was deep dish & square cut, cooked perfectly, had the crispy crust that I love! My kids loved the waffle fries, hot & crispy too. Amazing gluten free pizza. So fresh and flavorful. So good you won't believe it's gluten free, but no bad reaction so it definitely was. I recommend stopping in, especially before seeing a show.
