Most recently, on April 24th, my husband and I came in for a date night. We were told an estimated wait time and received a text when our table was ready, but we missed the notification and checked back in about 10-15 minutes later. We completely understood that our original table had been given away. We were then seated at a table we weren't comfortable with and politely asked if we could wait for another option. We made it clear we were willing to wait. Instead of being treated courteously, we were met with eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and a tone that made us feel unwelcome. When I later asked if there was an estimate on the wait, I was again met with a curt response that felt unnecessarily hostile by the same hostess. At that point, we decided to leave. What disappointed me most wasn't the wait or the table assignment. Restaurants get busy, and we understand that. It was the feeling that, after years of visiting this establishment, we were treated like an annoyance rather than valued customers by the same hostess lady. One would hope that being married to a manager would inspire higher standards of customer service, not the impression that basic professionalism is optional in the hospitality industry. Great margaritas bring people in. Consistently good customer service is what keeps them coming back.
