I am a little embarrassed that I decided to have empanadas while in France, but oh am I glad I did. This was one of the most enjoyable evenings I had in Montpellier. The restaurant is on a rather steep and out of the way little road. The outside tables, where i sat, cling to the side of the building tightly because the road is so narrow. There is a cover over the tables that is wide enough to keep you dry in the rain, which was good because it rained. The staff here is just plain fun. The waitress spoke 3 languages including English, and she tolerated our attempts at both Spanish from the menu and French. There are several options for empanadas, which you order with a cute system on a slip of paper. We also got a salad, which was excellent. All the flavors, and we tried most, were completely different and all delicious. When you need a break from expensive French restaurants, give Empanadas Club a try and you will be very happy you did. read more

My favorite in Montpellier. Pros: -Delicious empanadas. They have 7 standard ones, plus an empanada of the month. They also have a spicy sauce that adds a ton of flavor. -Servers speak English, Spanish, and French -Quick meal at a great price Cons: -None! Just make sure you make a reservation if you want to go between when they open and 8pm. They don't accept reservations after 8pm but it can be very busy. read more

Great quaint restaurant with very tasty empanadas. The chicken empanada was my favorite. Don't miss out on the dessert either!

Really fun atmosphere. Great food, really nice servers. Sangria was great, shots were even better. Great location. LOVE the artichoke empanadas!!! They have outside or inside seating and and upstairs and downstairs. Great price for what you get! read more

Excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly servers. The empanadas were really delicious, I got the verdura and the humita (corn, bechemel sauce) and I recommend trying them both. Very cool Argentine ambience. read more

Their idea of nachos is a small bowl of tortilla chips with a bit of white cheese melted on a few of them. There is no salsa, no jalapeños no guacamole and nothing is spicy at all. Bland Latin American food? This place is mostly a college kid hangout. The SINGLE good thing here is that they serve Corona BUT they list it as Corona, when it is in fact, Corona Extra. Being in France they also serve chopped up bread on request. Speaking of requests, they give you a small bowl of olives IF you ask for them. One couple next to us had French fries with a ketchup like sauce on them as their main dish. We ordered a mixed platter and got French fries with bacon bits and other junk on them. We called it "vomit sauce". These people serve up French fries with every dish, passing them off as "Latin American " food! Even their "sangrias" are YELLOW because they mix them with cheap orange juice. Avoid this place unless you want to just drink a Corona. I've traveled extensively from Mexico to Argentina and there is nothing in this restaurant resembling Latin American food!
