If I could rate this "school" with zero stars, I would. I attended here during the period of Feb 2024-Dec 2025. During my time, there were multiple issues, definitely ones that wouldn't be happening at a respectable school. Let's start with the cleanliness and structure of the school. IT IS BEYOND DISGUSTING. The bathroom has blood and a collection of other bodily fluids on the stall walls (which has been brought to the directors attention multiple times and still remains). The pedicure station is a hallow wooden bench that floods regularly. This has created mold and rot to the structure, that is very visible on the wall. At one point, there was a gas leak that the students and staff had reported multiple times. It took over a week for the school to fix or acknowledge it, which resulted in the school shutting down for a day to finally fix it. The water temperature is a tricky thing as well, and regular clients will crack jokes while you try to make the water in the sink not scolding hot or freezing cold. The place is a disaster. Product and supplies. Part of the expense of attending the school is the tool kit, which includes a ridiculous amount of things that you will either not use or breaks regularly. The teachers that I had struggled to ration supplies for lessons and the salon section was constantly out of very necessary things. Not a hair color here and there, we're talking all shampoos, massive amounts of color, perm solutions, the list goes on and on. I personally had a client who was getting a perm, the assistant director did the consultation with me, acknowledged that the client needed two boxes of perm solution, brought me one box and told me to have the teacher get the next one when I was ready, and left. Needless to say, there was no other box of perm solution... She left knowing this, my client having only half her hair coated, and my teacher trying to scramble for a solution. IT'S THE OBVIOUS CARELESSNESS AND THESE ARE ALL THINGS THAT ARE MANDATORY DAY TO DAY. I truly believe that most errors on clients were created by lack of supplies or someone not ordering them correctly... Staff and environment is really the cherry on top. I can personally say that the teachers, I was lucky enough to have, were top shelf and went above and beyond. They resulted to bringing in their own supplies, when the school didn't have what they needed. I can't say that for the whole staff. The director is notorious for yelling in her fish bowl office, that sits in the lobby I might add, at staff or students. Doesn't matter who is sitting in the waiting area, will put on a full on show. Approaching her was mostly a hassle as well. When asked about constant dress code or policy changes, she was extremely condescending and always had a "because I said so" attitude. While I attending, we had multiple students threaten other students and teachers, and the "uppers" always let them back, with zero action taken. An example: threats to run over another student who was pregnant, the directors reply "the parking lot isn't school property". This resulted in the student dropping out due to safety concerns the next day and the other student with zero repercussions. There was always a level of favoritism and I truly believe she was willing to put other students at risk because of that. There's a constant turn over in educators as well, and all of the students knew entirely too much of the behind the scenes, the lines were constantly blurred. We're talking educator/student affairs, educators partying with students, the list goes on and on. Looking back, I see the school for what it is. It's a place to get your certificate. It's not the placed to expect grown adults running a respectable school. It's stepping into a time machine, entering the "Mean Girl" world to the highest degree and the staff is part of the clique. It's not a place where you are guaranteed the best education or access to the best products on the market. It's the lowest of the tiers, when looking at other beauty school programs and locations. Is it worth the money? Ehh, not out of pocket. If you're looking for a professional experience and education, invest and go elsewhere. **update to the response** The fact that McKenzie or Jessica replied only to the cleaning concerns is absurd. The school has been reported multiple times, for years, before I was even there. They make zero changes, the staff remains under qualified and unprofessional, the facility is still disgusting (I was literally there on Thursday for a graduation and couldn't even use the bathroom because of how disgusting it is), and they continue to not provide or keep in stock products. They should be embarrassed to be taking people's money. read more

Went for a manicure and pedicure. There was no instructor supervision. I never had a manicure and pedicure (both) in 30 minutes. No filing or clipping of the nails. No trimming of the cuticles. 4 steps of polish was put on one right after the other. None of the steps in their instruction sheet were followed. She was more worried about what the other girls were doing. Called when I got home. Told the instructor my nails still didn't dry(she said it could take up to 24 hours) ! Although she said I could come back and have it corrected I wasn't interested at that point. There was no instructor to check on the girl. Even when I went to pay no one asked if I was happy with the service. I didn't say anything at that point because the girl walked up with me and although I was not happy I didn't want to embarrass her. Yes you get what you pay for. read more

Had my hair cut and styled by Lauren and she did an amazing job. She really took her time and listened to any guidance offered from the teachers. I would recommend Lauren for as long as she is there!!!! read more

My son's very good friend is attending school here and needed some experience hours so I signed up for a pedicure, facial, scalp treatment, and wash/blow dry. The place is very clean and staff is friendly. The services were very good and she did a great job. The prices are great but keep in mind, these are students so you are not going to get a "top of the line" spa treatment with high end products, etc. If you need something simple done on a budget, check it out! The scalp treatment felt amazing and the facial had my face feeling nice and soft. read more

Honestly it's very hard to rate this place two stars when the quality of the work was really no stars but since the people who are performing the services are students I expect a certain amount of error but in a classroom setting you expect that error to be fixed by the teacher now I took my daughter and myself out to get a spa pedicure at the beauty school and the girl who did my spa pedicure did an all right job she was friendly and nice But I felt it was sloppy and incomplete. What I mean when I say that is my cuticles were left uncleaned up there was lotion and other kinds of material they use for the pedicure process underneath my toenails stillas well. Not to mention, her polishing expertise was very below par. I felt bad saying anything because she was a student and she was very friendly and I gave her some pointers as we were going through the pedicure but I still was left a bit disappointed now my poor daughter is another story. She got what I would consider the worst spa pedicure I have ever seen the toenail polish looked awful the girl didn't give her any kind a massage she had initially paid for the mask that was supposed to go on which is the only thing that differentiates a regular pedicure from a spa pedicure which is really weird but that's fine that's how they do it so when I brought it to the teachers attention she returned the five dollar up charge to me so that we were still paying for a pedicure but what my daughter got was not a service that she should not been charged for. It saddens me so much my daughter works very hard for her money being 14 and this was something she was paying for herself, I will not be returning again to the beauty school for anymore services.Before this experience I had been there several times to patronize the place because I believed that they were a quality business. So if this is supposed to be an elite beauty school, then this review here wouldn't exist. Unfortunately I can't opt for no stars. My wife has a friend who goes here and said she would cut my wife's hair for her. I sat in the hot car with our dog for 2 hours. For someone who has been enrolled at this school for a second year, it appears to me she has not grasped the very simple concept of a haircut. Under no circumstances do I intend on ever coming back to this place for my wife to get a haircut. If they can't teach they're students to do things the way a normal hair place would what's the point of teaching them. read more
