Located in Yonkers NY, Empire City Casino has maintained its presence as a must visit for adult leisure and entertainment. There is a shuttle that circulates the parking lot every 5 to 10 mins to take you to the entrance. There are tons of slots , card tables and high roller sections. Their food options are a bit limited but reasonably priced. On my most recent tour I saw there was a hot dog cart that was coming around to serve patrons who wanted a quick economic bite! Their drinks are complimentary as long as you're seated and playing. Staff is usually friendly and the facilities are well maintained. Around the area outside there are more food options. The also have horse racing events in the summer. Nice experience can get really busy on the weekends!

Empire casino qill always hold a special place in my heart. It is harder to get to now. It is about 30 minutes from my home town in New Jersey just across the infamous George Washingron bridge in New York City. Ez pass, the new toll system acroas the board, the bridge is cashledd and the amount of traffic into New york make driving a nightmare. Franklin going to Atlantic city casinos is cheaper but a longer commute. I went during the day with less people on a friday. People will still working and kids were schooling. I was gambling. It was not a win win trip. I had my usual beer $9 and coffee which was free with a tip to the waitress. They do have several eateries if you are hungry. The casino does offer valet services and there is still horse rating nightly. It took me about the same time going back to Jersey since I am so familar with the commute back and forth. This is a swan song for me since I probably will not be back unleas I travel back to New york to see a broadway show or another epic event. So long Empire casino and thabks for the ride. I did get my new players card and the guest service personnel wish me a Happy birthday and I fot a olastic lion from MGM grand who owns Empire casino now. Show me the money, Empire!

The handicapped people . Not a single one with a cane or a walker .. just saying

The WORSE CASINO I EVER BEEN TO . They had an event with barely any information online . Get there and find out you have to sit almost 30 minutes online to buy food and drinks tickets to then sit online again to buy food and drinks . Horrible , not organized at all and the sodas were warm , no ice . Not to mention they chased me away from a table that was supposedly a handicap table only to sit a bunch of NON HANDICAPPED people . Absolutely ridiculous , you wanna go to good casinos go to casinos in Connecticut or go to Resorts World Casino in Monticello .

I've been to empire city numerous times mostly all the time in the evening today was the first day I actually went during the day.I have to be honest.I did like empire city at night. But when I went during the day, there were so many problems with the games games that weren't service just sitting there. And saying attendant waiting and games that wouldn't accept my mgm.Reward cards and then games that were just not working during the daytime. And you would think the daytime would be the time where things would get done. But when I spoke to some of the technicians and people there, they provided excuses, but no one provided an answer or a fix for anything. I'll be honest with you if those guys during the day worked for me, they'd all be fired. MG.M needs to provide a better space for people's to leave comments, and the comments need to be answered and not just left unchecked or unlooked into the customers.Make that place.

Went with my family on a Saturday night. I used valet the place is huge and didn't want to self park but that is available if you prefer. Security does check identification upon arrival. Establishments is huge, great selection on different slot machines. I find the Entertainment bar to be expensive and the gentleman bartending was rude. I preferred the back Tequila Bar the also provide frozen drinks that are delicious. My bartender was Rosa she was so sweet and definitely upsold my order providing great info on the drinks. We arrived early evening so as the night progressed the crowd definitely crew but nothing too crazy like Resorts in Queen. This is definitely my casino of choice in NYC.

I also requested a handicapped accessible room, as my BIL was staying with me, and he is mostly wheelchair bound. After check-in, I learned the the handicap rooms are on the 8th floor. So, the reasons for the low rating: (1) the handicap rooms are the furthest from the elevator, literally from one end of the hall to the other; well over 100 feet. (2) sign by elevator that says, "In case of fire, use stairs." This is kind of ridiculous, to expect a wheelchair bound person, to descend 8 floors. Which leads to the question, "Why put handicap rooms on the top most floor?" (3) Our room was very LOUD. Literally, when the HVAC unit came on, it sounded like a jet engine starting. On for 5 minutes or so, then off for 2 minutes. Rinse and repeat all night long (4) In a shower / tub area, the height of the tub was not conducive to a disabled person being able to use it. On a positive side, the bathroom was spacious, with 3 grab bars near the toilet. Note the 4 grab bars in the shower / tub area are useless if you can't get in. Another positive was the continental breakfast. Numerous options for both cold and hot items. 2 poorly designed stars. If you can't put handicap rooms on the ground floor, near an exit, you should not sell rooms as handicap.

Years later, this is still not good…read more Tried this again twice after a very long time of not coming here - yep, still not too good. In comparison to other movie theaters, this one pales greatly. While they updated the theaters with modern seating(w/ tables), it's not as comfortable and clean as competitors. In all fairness, I've only been to the standard theaters, so perhaps the larger theaters are better - but it should be equal across the board. I get why they did it this way, but they probably should've just rebuilt the theater from scratch. Cross County as a whole has undergone the effort trying to look better than it once did (whether better or not is up to individual interpretation) and here we have this dated movie theater with so many better and modern theaters at other malls. Each time I came here, at least one of the beverage machines was out of order while the other one remained a mess, with sticky floors as an added bonus. I get that the general public can be inconsiderate slobs, but this is why these things should be maintained by employees. Getting a drink shouldn't be a hassle nor should there be an impromptu sticky 'minefield' to have to maneuver through while getting the drink. The theater seats weren't as comfortable as they looked like they would be and didn't feel entirely clean. While the small table was a decent innovation, it would've probably been better had all of them been adjusted, tightened, and oiled. One improvement - the employees were a little friendlier than I remember them to be. Most of them anyway. A suggestion to the theater itself is to choose when and where tickets are checked. If I check in at the front with my phone, it should be good enough - not a second time with my hands full before going into the theater. If you're concerned about those not paying, then have a better system in the front of the place. It only happened once out of the two times I was there, but it was annoying to have to get my phone back out while my hands were completely full and the employee wasn't exactly friendly about the inconvenience either. The parking lot is sizable and you should easily be able to find a spot as long as its not during the holidays. I wanted to give this place a second chance from long ago and hoped things had changed - but they haven't. It's better elsewhere. I have no intentions of giving this place a third chance unless they completely tear it down (like they should've) and start over. There's better movie theaters out there.
