Terrific delivery. Communication was excellent and the refrigerator was brought to my backyard kitchen as requested.

Sometimes things go WRONG in business. If the problem is rectified efficiently and quickly and to the customers satisfaction one will develop a BETTER RELATIONSHIP going forward. Our delivery was delivered in a TIMELY MANNER....We knew when the truck would arrive as the truck had a tracker. Without going into detail we had a problem having the couches taken off the truck. Not important to tell you what happened but the driver was TOTALLY in the wrong. My wife called up...spoke to one of the managers who forwarded the message to the owner Mr. Michael P. Donnelly. He called us back in 1/2 hour. He was quite upset and took IMMEDIATE ACTION...and I mean immediate. He made GOOD....OVER AND ABOVE....for what happened. We financially reimbursed....over and above. Compliments to Mr. Donnelly. He stands behind his business and has a handle on it. I recommend all Furniture(Bassett) companies to use their services. Left the same review on Google but I want everyone to beware of this company- with so many reputable, customer oriented companies please take your business elsewhere. Negative zero stars for these "movers". They delivered a couch to me from a furniture store- I had no choice which moving company would be delivering this couch. 2 kids showed up, barely english speaking ( I am ESL also), maybe 18/20 years old (3 man job), no dollies, hand trucks, just them transporting the furniture themselves. which is fine--However, I tried to help by opening and keeping the door open for them. My mistake -since they bumped a table and ripped the leg out and somehow blamed it on me because i was holding the door open TO HELP THEM close to the table so i mustve damaged it? These "insured and bonded" movers wouldnt reimburse $100/$200 which is how much this desk was worth. I just bought a $2,000 couch, why would I lie about damage to a $200 table? I wouldnt even expect the full amount back but some sort of customer service- Anything. instead they told me "we believe the drivers/movers". i have photo evidence, the movers have photo evidence of damage. No point. DO NOT USE and make sure if the furniture store you are working with delivers with these guys- they find another company. Do not help them open the door, do not help them move anything- it will somehow come around and bite you. Best part- I tipped the guys thinking ofcourse they didnt do this on purpose. Another lesson in No good deed goes unpunished. Beyond frustrated- Never leave reviews (check my history on google and yelp) but this one took the cake. Oh and also, I dont care about the money any longer. I am hoping my review along with so many other negative reviews, you will take your money elsewhere and this company will lose way more than what they owe me. read more
