I went on friday the 13th to get matching tattoos w my brother and let's just say it came out horrible. I will not be coming back here for any type of tattoo or piercing. The guy was digging so hard into my skin that now my arm is bruising and my tattoo is blowing out. I have a half sleeve and two other little tattoos and have never had this problem. Save urself and don't go. I wish u could put pictures on here!!!! read more

Brandon was amazing and patient. We changed the design a few times cause it was a couple tattoo and we are indecisive. He was cool and went with the flow. It was my wife first time getting a tattoo. He explained the process to her and was patient with her. Super clean like super clean. We will be going back for sure. They do take walk ins but an appointment is best. The shop minimum is $100 and you leave a small deposit when making your appointment. read more

I don't usually review tattoo shops or artist often but Erin was so professional. Finding a good artist is so hard theses days. Since we often find them using social media it's hard to connect if their booked solid or don't always message you back depending on their availability. Erin was so wonderful she responded to my email about what I was looking for gave me some tips on what would look good. I had a tattoo done some time ago and what a different experience. Erin is detailed and takes her time with you. You get what you pay for and she's so worth it. I highly recommend her and this shop. If you're looking for a someone to do your piercings, i definitely recommend NICK. I always have recommended him to everyone I meet. He's super chill, funny and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. I got my septum and daith piercings done from Nick at Empire Tattoo and they were absolutely great. They are an awesome person who provides great aftercare, even helping me change rings when I was nervous about it. I needed to have an MRI done and change to acrylic jewelry and they made sure to get me in and help me so that I was good to go. Went to the coffee shop next door and when I was leaving I saw the tattoo shop directly next door offered piercings. I met Nick who was super funny and friendly. Asked him if he could change my nose ring. He said of course and showed me some rings and told me how they'd fit, feel, etc. He changed it super quick with no pain. I was in/out in 15 mins. Took my stepdaughter in for a nose piercing and left scheduling my arm to get some ink. Hooked up with Steve and he did a great job. Didn't overcharge me. Sat in the chair for like 4 hours but he only charged me for 2.5. Got some work done on the outside of my arm and on the inside forearm. Going back in a month to finish the rest and tie it all together. read more

Payton did my tattoo, it was just 3 simple letters, taz. She charged me 120.00 and she missed major spots inside the letters. I Instagram msg her after it healed telling her that it needes to be re shaded. She made every excuse not to just simply admit to missing spots. SHE said i needed a touch up when it had only been two months since i had got the tatt. She wanted to re charge me for her miatake. Went on a Monday night to get my septum pierced, making it my first college freshman decision. Nick was super friendly, making jokes to make me feel comfortable. It was a walk-in, and I was seen right away. All the guys in the shop were super welcoming, and I did not feel intimidated. Nick was super gentle, and the entire process was easy and quick. We accidentally used a ring that was too small, but he said I could come back in a couple of weeks to increase the diameter of the ring for free. I came here as a walk in, and didn't have to wait long. Nick was recommended by a friend who had her piercings done by him as well. 10/10 would recommend. I've had 4 piercings done, very quick and polite. Will not be going to anyone else for future piercings. First off, Let me start off by saying how much I regret my tattoo, I am very disappointed with the outcome. Showed the artist (JOE)a picture of exactly what I wanted and got complete something different, It's fairly upsetting, considering it looks nothing like the reference photo, it came out horrible and very poorly done.Should have listened to my instinct his tattoo on me was a mistake I will regret until I get it laser. This has to be the worst decision I made!!! JOE'S work is mediocre! please do yourself a favor and find a different profession!One star is the minimum required, other wise he'd get a zero. So for starters I did NOT come here for my piercing I went elsewhere . My reason for my visit here at Empire tattoo was because I had a infected piercing and wanted to save it . And I was advised by Nick to go with a longer bar . Nick was very personable, gentle and so kind with me and my care of the jewelers removal and replacement. And let's just say with his recommendation my infected piercing is healing right up ! So thank you Nick ! Also wanted to add that when I first walked in I was welcomed. They say hi welcome to everyone that walks in . I would say most parlors / shops I've visited don't say hello ! And I just knew I came to the right place . I knew I could trust them with whatever it was I would be coming in there for ! Though my visit was for something so simple ! Literally terrible job I'm very dissatisfied with my visit I walked in and liked the vibe of the shop at first I felt like I was in good hands I asked the guy peircing me what the pain level was like he told me a 4 I sat down on the table and was so nervous he turned around to watch what I think was damn Jerry springer on the tv‍ and put the peircing in my stomach was not paying attention he never even asked me if I liked the placement of the peircing he told me to lay down after he marked me and completely botched my stomach peircing I almost passed out the pain was not a 4 out of 10 maybe because he did it completely wrong way to high and wasn't even looking at me he was LOOKING AT THE TV. It's been almost 2 months now since I got this peirced it has still it healed I clean it everyday with saline solution and even put antibiotic ointment. Nothing has helped so I had to loose my piercing today. Not happy about my visit. If you need a piercing literally go anywhere else read more

Don't get piercings here. I got pierced by Nick and he marked my nose and just went for it. I was saying I was unsure on which side I wanted it and mentioned the left and I didn't even get to look in a mirror before he put the needle through. I went back to the shop to get it removed at 3 pm the next day because I hated where he put it and the shop was completely closed. I went to Mission Tattoo and Piercing to get it removed and the place was much nicer and more professional by a landslide. In total wasted $50 because their piercer doesn't care. Wasn't given any aftercare instructions and we had to wait in the front while he did another persons piercing to make sure that payment went through because he didn't want to wait for our venmo payments to go through before he went on to the other person. However, he was more than happy to tell my friend and I about his dick implants, but not bringing me a mirror to look at where he's putting a hole in my face. read more

I've also had several follow up questions and concerns, and he has been super kind and patient with me reaching out to him! I'll be going back to get different nose studs within the week. i had got a piercing there the other day, first off the service was so rude the guy didn't even clean none of the supply's or piercing or the placement he was piercing me at. Few days later my piercing got infected and swelled up the bar was to small and it was growing into my skin within just 2 days of having it. read more

Each added element enhanced the other. I wanted sooo bad to get something done, but I didn't want to rush into something just for the sake of it. Johnny shared original art on his IG page (as he occasionally does) and asked if anyone would be interested in having it permanently etched on their body. Well....I liked what I saw and took the opportunity to grab it. This will certainly be the starting point for my own sleeve. :-) Johnny's customer service skills are top notch....from appointment set up to post-tattoo follow up. Sitting in his studio, you are instantly put at ease. There are interactive discussions and ideas shared about tattoo design and placement. There is incense burning to clear the air and bring calming vibes. There are moments of quiet mixed in with moments of enlightening conversation. Johnny is just THAT dude. Cool, calm, and together. I am so pleased with how my tattoo turned out. The whole experience was pleasant and absolutely worth it. I didn't feel like I was just a customer. He takes pride in his work and wants you to walk away feeling good about his work. As I patiently wait for the right ideas/vision to come to mind, I'm eager to have Johnny add to my arm.

Trevor is a fantastic artist who really cares for his craft and his client. His art work is truly some of the best I have ever seen. My husband is tall and they worked together to cover my husband's full outter arm in two back to back days. When Trevor realized they needed more time to make this project perfect, he was honest and communicative but what we appreciated the most was that he didn't rush through to finish the tattoo, he spent time to make sure each section was perfect and up to his standard, really caring for the client and what he will be wearing on his body forever. That to me is worth the money. You truly get what you pay for. We will always respect honesty and integrity and what he did accomplish in two days was A LOT! The shop was very clean, and I really enjoyed the interactions with the staff when I came to drop off food. I will recommend Trevor & N9ne Lives to everyone! This is an incredible spot, we are so grateful to have found it. They have found long term clients in us for sure.
