Excellent clinic. When my son (autistic 18/yo) needed his medical card we took him in to Empower. The doctor gave my son a basic examination (along with the medical records we already brought with us) and after about a half hour, signed some forms, gave us a packet and we were on our way. Filed online (took 5 minutes, just type in all the info from the form) as soon as we got home, and by end of day I'd already printed his temporary card and we were on our way to the dispensary. Subsequently, they've also worked with my wife with the same great results. Now that we're "in the system" we only need to see them on a webcam call once a year to renew. I am really happy with my experience at this clinic. Everyone that I interacted with was very helpful and kind. Be sure before you go in to have all your necessary documents because otherwise, you won't be able to file online at their office and have to use snail mail instead. I got my temporary card the same night with the new online filing! Nothing negative to say about this place. I will go back when it's time to renew. read more

They rescheduled my initial appointment. They told me "the new address". I had surgery four days ago, but pulled myself into my wheelchair; because the only pain meds I can take are cannibis (allergic to opioids), to go to my appointment. No one showed up! They told me Cascade Medical Spa! How would I have known if they hadn't told me. They weren't there. I called them. They were unapologetic, they were rude, they were unprofessional to say the least. Do yourself a favor, find another clinic before you too are left with an expired card and a bad taste in your mouth! read more

They were friendly and knowledgeable on the phone. We got there 40 minutes before my appointment, but didn't see the doctor until 40 minutes after my appointment time. Has a nice kids' play area. They did not notice that part of my registration was not filled out. Thank goodness I checked the paperwork before I submitted it!! read more

Every state needs an organization like this that helps people get the medicine they need! Thank goodness for these people and this organization. I have volunteered at Seattle Hempfest and Portland Hempstalk because I love this organization and feel that hemp and medicinal marijuana can help the planet and the people, and those are things worth fighting for, worth giving our time to, and worth celebrating! I'll send a notice to the Attorney General. This clinic failed to explain my payment of $180 at this Empower clinic was a doctor payment, nor did they explain we needed to attach another check for $200 to go to the state. Totally misled us and today I just paid for my mother's funeral arrangements. Within 2 weeks of our visit she was approved for hospice. They didn't even mention that I should be listed as a caregiver. My mother's decline was immediate but I could have found a doctor for half that cost and perhaps another clinic who took the time to explain vs their quick money snatch. There has to be other more compassionate clinics to work with. read more

I haven't been to the clinic yet. They can't tell me if they recieved the request for information I sent 2 and a half weeks ago. My card is about to expire and I may have to start over somewhere else. I have given them the day to figure it out. If they can't or don't get back to me, I'm going elsewhere.
