My nurse listened to my concerns about the IV. I told her I have small veins and asked if she could she use a smaller needle. she said absolutely!!! She got it one her first try! other places I've been ignored me and ended up trying 4-5 times to get one in. Then the doctor came in went over things with me (He is always great). then the Anesthesiologist came in, oh my word I can't even tell you how kind she was. everyone in the sugical was so kind it literally blew me away. Thank you to every single person that works at CHI day surgery . You are kind and compassionate when patients are nervous or anxious (always kind from past experience) it means a great deal to me and I'm sure to many others.
