It's pretty pricey (dinner for 2 came to EUR 160.00, including apreitifs and one bottle of wine). The food was excellent, starters (taglietini with black truffels & vitello tonnato) were delicious and the shared huge Sea Bass was cooked to perfection and served with a really fresh salad. Some pink champange to start and a delicious Sancerre were the perfect complement. There were only a couple of faults preventing a 5 star rating: They had somehow lost our reservation, so we were squeezed onto a small table - as nice as our neighbours were, we were effectively sharing a table with them, which prevented any private conversation. Also, as the evening drew on, and particularly in trying to get the bill, the service level dropped off as the restaurant became busier. Waiting for the waiter started to become a little tedious. Otherwise, highly recommended!

A beautiful piece of meat cooked to perfection (ordered medium rare twice and both times it was on point) and served with truffled mashed potatoes as well as a pistachio crust and balsamic sauce. Quite pricey but well worth it. The service is helpful and courteous. It was our second time there and the waiter remembered our wine selection from the last time, which was surprising. Overall a great restaurant with amazing food. Definitely on the more expensive side (as the location would suggest) so more suitable for a special occasion as opposed to every day dining. A reservation is recommended, especially on the weekend.

It underwent a extensive renovation last year and only opened recently again for business. The setting is very traditional with a lot of antique decor, making a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Service here is impeccable. Front of house Tobias Ludowigs and his team make every effort to make the guest feel special and well taken care of. As you can imagine the wine list is extensive covering all parts of the world but concentrating on Germany and France. The list of different Riesling is out of the world, I have never seen such an incredible choice. Even smaller vineyards are listed and you can find some rare vintages which are hard to get. The choice of German pintos (Spätburgunder) is extensive as well, all the big guns are on the offering. If you like French wines, don´t go elsewhere. They offer some of the best Bordeaux in the world and still have some older vintages. Best of all is that their wines in general are good value for money and you will sure find a wine that suits your budget. If you need help with your selection ask the sommelier Tobias Ludowigs. He's like a living wine encyclopedia and can tell you anything about the wines on his list. Food wise they have 3 different menu, a tasting, a German and vegetarian one. All include an appetizer, soup, sherbet, main and desert. You can skip the soup if you want, you can interchange courses from the different menu, they are really flexible here. Simon Nauels and his kitchen team do an excellent job. The food is well presented, portions are not too small, everything is delicate and done to perfection. It is always a great experience coming here. For me the Tante Anna has michelin star potential. It is inexpensive in comparison to other restaurants of this quality.

The selection and quality of food matched by peerless service from staff who seem to speak several languages would put many Michelen 3*s in France to the test. Consult the sommelier about some of the fine German wines (not your usul Blue Nun!!) I had a great red from the Pfalz and it was truly memorable I love Dusseldorf Altstadt and its' brewery pubs but I will always try to have 1 night here as well

Night so we had a chance to chat. Very interesting couple. They invited us to come back in a couple days for the 2 year anniversary of the shop. They have excellent knowledge of wines and gave us great recommendations. Very good wine selection and they do have a limited menu. The flammekuchen is excellent. Live music on the weekend, outside seating, great people and wine. Try it out!
