Oxidiana was tastefully wonderful.
(I'm not certain, but I…read morethink the word oxidiana means layers, such as volcanic glass. Assuming because of the volcanic history of activity nearby?)
So my guess is possibly because the restaurant has layers of goodness?
Anyway, if you live here or are simply traveling through Catania and looking for something other than Italian, you'll be happy to try Oxidana's.
Their portion sizes are enough to share!! The staff and service were spot on.
I've added only two photos, but you cannot go wrong with anything you order. Trust me, we watched every dish as it came out.
I would suggest making a reservation. We did so on their website. It was very crowded.
It was a taste to remember.
