Very friendly service. Excellent authentic Thai cuisine. Intimate setting. Highly recommended.

I'll start off by saying that I don't generally give places a full five stars on my first visit because they'll usually do something trivial to irritate me or their food won't knock my socks off. This place, however, had amazing food, the best Thai tea that I've ever had, and the woman who served us (I won't insult her by trying to spell her name) was extremely friendly and forthcoming despite the fact that they were closing in twenty minutes for the end of lunch. I'm from The States; so, perhaps I find British food a little bland and repetitive after a few months but their food had great flavor and was decently priced for the quality. After stumbling through the menu after a night of drinking, she kindly joked that I needed some sugar to clear my fuzzy head and recommended that I have a large Thai tea as we waited for our food. I agreed and Boy! Am I grateful I did. You won't find any of that orange, powdered pre-made stuff like you do in the states at this spot. It was so refreshing and definitely the pick-me-up that I needed. The Bangkok Pad Thai with prawns was also delicious. She let me spice it up and cautioned me against ordering the Thai Spicy until I came back haha. I stuck with a level three and it had some good heat to it. I also got eight giant prawns in a medium sized amount of Pad Thai. For me, that's pretty amazing considering that it was only 10 pounds and typically places either give you those tiny prawns or only one or two of them. So, I'll definitely be getting it again. My friends ordered the Drunken Noodles (with rice noodles) and the Panang Chicken Curry. They both let me try a bite of both and they were also amazing. The coconut milk in the curry is phenomenal and the drunken noddles had a nice savory taste. I would also order their meals another time. Other than the food being well worth it, the woman who took care of us and took our take out order was hilarious and I can't wait to go back and get to actually dine in. Called to order for carry out, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were out of a few things, but that was only due to lack of resources in the area. They offered for us to try something else on the house and it was delicious. It wasn't something they had to offer but I felt it was going above and beyond. We enjoyed it all. 10/10 will be ordering from them again! read more

Loved this place when I visited, the service was great and staff was very nice & attentive. I got the Kow Pot fried rice (requested they cook it extra spicy) and also a Thai tea which is kind of a sweet, orange colored drink & made to order. I do not know how I never reviewed this place while living in the UK. Shame on me!! This was one of our regular spots. Super close to home in walking distance. I am a picky eater. I always was super nervous trying thai food as any I had previously was just so spicy. I'm a wuss, I admit it! We came here and I explained my craziness to the staff and they pointed me in the right direction. From then on, I ordered (quite happily) the same dish each time we dined here. The Amber Curry, with chicken. It is so so good. For you non-spice eaters like me, get this! Its a sweeter mild curry made with coconut milk, and it was a yellow green color. It comes with a side of rice and inside had carrots and potatoes. And you could choose your meat to put in if you so choose. I always scooped out the curry and mixed it with my rice..just so good. My hubby always got drunken noodles, he loved it! We also got these chicken dumplings as well, so tasty. The atmosphere was always nice and calm and relaxing. I can't remember the wait times. But the staff were always so nice. I miss this place. I complain often that I can't find anything like my dish I ate there and it saddens me. So I haven't had thai food since. read more

I had the Lamb Penang and it was fantastic. I also had the spicy wings for an appetizer and I didn't much care for them. They were much more breaded than I care for and only the dipping sauce was spicy and not on the wings themselves. Only disappoint was the wait. One of the better thai restraunts I've been to. Plenty of choices and more options on the menu than the few I've been to back in the usa. Owners are awesome folks who get to know their customers. If I can make it back to town I will be back to see them. read more

Excellent Thai food, friendly service and reasonable prices. I really like their panang with prawns, lemon chicken, pad thai noodles and the mango sticky rice. On Sundays they have an "all you can eat" deal for about £15.00 per person. If you can manage to eat more than two entrees, check it out. read more

I'm giving this place a 3 star because it isn't bad, but it isn't the greatest either. The pad thai is pretty bland compared to other pad thai dishes I've had else where. However, I do really like their whole steam fish that's paired with their super spicy coriander fish sauce, it's by far one of my favorite dishes there. The lady that cooks is also very friendly and always lets me just order the spicy fish sauce to go. read more

If you're in Mildenhall your options are slim, but En Thai Sing was a cute little place with great food. We stumbled across this place b/c not much else was opened on Sunday night, but I'm glad we did. We ordered a prawn dish with coconut rice and the pad thai. Maybe it was just a bad day. I don't know, but the food here wasn't much to talk about. As with most food I've had in the UK, seasoning is underdone. The dishes we had were lacking flavor and the meat was mostly over-cooked. The mango sticky rice was pretty good, though not very authentic (yes, I've had it in Thailand). It was almost more of a savory dish, with the rice having almost no sweetness, while the mango was macerated to the point of tasting a bit candied. read more

This is the closest to authentic thai food I've had in a long time. It's nice to have a piece of home while I'm all the way out here. The som tum is as good as it gets! It has never been stopped. The spring rolls were also a great treat. I loved the Sunday "buffet" style dining as I can never get my fill of this place. The green curry was a crowd pleaser, as were all of the noodle dishes. I've tried Thai places all over England and America, and I still cite this as one of my favorites. The ownership and service also make this place awesome. The owner let me in on several secrets so that I could make som tum at home when I had left the area. Ordered the whole steamed bass with pepper, lime and garlic sauce. I love spicy food so I asked for thai hot times 15 but it came out as 25. The best sauce ever! Reminds me of grandma's cooking back in the states. Of all the Asian restaurants, especially thai restaurants I've been to in England, this is the best. Other thai places always say they make it spicy but it always turns out its just more towards the sweet side. The server Aaron was also great! Just the best Thai food I have had anywhere around Mildenhall. On Sundays they have an all you can eat off the menu order. We would go there as a group and would just try everything on their menu. We would eat so much they would actually stop coming over to us after a while (haha) I'd say the green curry is by far there best dish and would recommended it to anyone. read more

There are some very strong reviews for En Thai Sing here on Yelp. I had the Pad Khee Moa for lunch and it was delicious. This is a great spot in Mildenhall with a nice clean interior setting. The service was polite and friendly. The only issue I had is their toned-down heat scale for the British palate. I'm not a 'have to sweat when I eat' kind of guy, but I do expect some spice with a 'Three Chili' menu label. read more
