I felt like I was taking them away from their break…read more When I unpacked the sandwich (we ate in the restaurant), it was a complete mess, it seemed like a pile of thrown ingredients. Then there's the paying. They told me that they had problems with their card device during the day, but I had to pay by card as I didn't get cash. We tried together for 4-5 times to pay, reseting the device meanwhile. Finally, they called a huge guy to come in the restaurant and to tell me that I didn't get any money on my card and I can't eat for free (obvious). They sent me outside the place to get some cash from an ATM (I had to pay 20€ extra for a non French card being used on a French ATM). Then we returned to their place to pay and to continue our half eaten sandwiches. Finally, I asked them for the receipt and they got angry at me because they had to search for it in the trash... Never again, and I used to love Subway and to go there on a weekly basis. From the very first moment that they noticed we weren't French and speaking English, they became rude.
