Yes, it is, until you encounter a bank like 5th/3rd Bank located in the same shopping plaza that was unwilling to break a $50 unless I had an account (and ID!!) for the cash-for-cash 30 second transaction. So, 5 stars to this bank that made change without asking me for account information and just being a bank that knows how to be a bank. If I was staying in the area I'd seriously consider banking with this branch because they are low key and hospitable and seem to value the clients that walk in the door.

Other banks offered internet and mobile banking before VSB and I guess the next "big thing" with come a little behind some of the conglomerates but that's okay with me. However, a bank employee asks if I have an account in this bank. So, honestly, when I said no, she refused to exchange. In vain, my bank is a little far away, but I headed to the Truist Bank where I have accounts. Here, without asking such a question, she changed it right away. I thought about changing to Bank of America because my bank was far away, but I decided to just stay with the Truist Bank after this incident. In the past, they changed it well in the Bank of America, but today the employee who made me wait for a long time and get out in vain. She must be twisted in her mind for any reason.

This is somewhat of a small branch compared to others than I'm used to. There are only two windows for tellers to assist customers, but there seems to be ample offices for bank representatives to handle other types of financial business. Upon my arrival I was promptly greeted in the lobby and directed to the teller window. The teller was pleasant and quickly assisted me with my transaction, and then I was on my way. There is a drive-up ATM on the premises and ample parking for customers. My one big disappointment is that this location does NOT have a drive-up teller. That's one reason why I despise Bank of America, so I was not excited to see that the newest Chase location does not have this feature. It seems that they want people to either use the ATM or come inside to the branch.

He then continues to answer his phone while working with me, interrupting me trying to explain the issue I'm having so he can talk to his superior about some report he still needs to complete. Then when he calls the corresponding department he has It on speaker where my business can be publicly heard to which he realized what he was doing and put It on the handheld. I have closed my account and will never again step foot into a Bank of America and will always tell others this is the worst bank to ever have an account with. I don't need an apology. I just wanted to warn anyone who enters. This man is domineering in the most aggressive way and has made an embarrassment out of me instead of showing understanding or compassion. He said you don't need a deposit slip anymore just send me your debit card. So I sent my debit card with the cash I was depositing. They took forever. Finally another lady came on, and said she'd be back in a few minutes. What is zero people in line at the drive-through, it should not take 10 minutes to do a simple deposit. Got my receipt and left. Got all the way home which is in the next town over, went to buy some thing and realized she never gave me my debit card back. I called her to ask if they had it, and she tried to say that it was dropped somewhere or something. And then she claims she remembers giving it back to me. And when I flat out, told her, no, it was not give it back to me, she finally went and found it. Then I had to drive the 35 minutes back to that town to get my freaking debit card because I was leaving for a trip the next day. So I ended up driving an entire extra hour and 10 minutes because of their mistake. No wonder they have such horrible reviews. I have been banking with US Bank for 30 years. It's gotten really bad the last couple of years. Am definitely looking for a new bank. When I went to get my debit card, they claimed at that point that it was in the tube from the drive-through. Which it was not. So not only did they not do their job, they lied. That totally loses my business.
