The dispensary is located in an industrial area. The clientele is a rough crowd. I had a guy sitting across from me tell me how much he loved Percodan, namely, because you can crush it up and-well, I stopped him there. The waiting area has a large TV and either tea or juice is available. I only come when grams are $10, so, naturally, it's busy, and I have learned to expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour. The product is not bad; it's not as good as the more expensive dispensaries I've visited, but the flowers are decent. The gals working in the back remind me of car show models, and for what I've seen, the guys seem to work the front desk more often than not. Because there is always a long line, I feel the need to rush. Luckily, ECG now has an app, and you can order online. Then, you just pick it up-no real waiting. read more

Encanto has been through 2-3 owners since I've been going here. Unfortunately, the change shows. The most recent buyout with Cresco, being a national company (similar to Curaleaf), you see the quality driven down and price driven up. The lobby and med station set ups have been redesigned. It's still a little bare bones- but overall has a nice minimalist vibe. Always recommend going on Saturday for their 8g of shatter for $99 deal. They used to run that special all the time for all concentrates- but now crumbles, batters, live resins, and sauces are a little pricier. Look out for the deals! Overall, I return here for the great value! They have a loyalty points system as well which is nice to save a few bucks on your order if you're a frequent flyer! read more

They used to have good deals, but they changed ownership, now Cresco opens it, and it blows. They don't do bulk wax or $99 ounces anymore. So you're stuck paying $25 a gram for wax that's not the best quality. I could forgive the quality when they did 8 for $99, but now it's just not worth it. They're trying to push prissy, high end BS sauce and other overpriced trendy items. I used to drive from Tucson to come here and stock up on my entire 2.5 oz limit in wax, but now I'll take my business elsewhere. It's a shame, I was loyal to Encanto for over 2 years! They've changed it so much, they should close and reopen with a new name. It's not Encanto anymore. It's Cresco. I recommend going literally a half mile down the road, Nature's med does 10 grams of shatter for $150. Also, Arizona Organix, which is a little further, has $16 g of shatter. Both are better quality shatter than Encanto, and they're now cheaper. No point even coming here, don't waste your time. read more

DO NOT give your number to this place if you go here... I haven't had a MMJ card for over 2 years now and I get text messages nearly daily about their specials. I've called 3 times, all 3 times they've taken my name and number down and said they'd remove it from the list. If they can't, they should just tell me...I blocked the number sending me the text message, but EVERY message has a different number! Shady as hell. Also, their weed is trash. I am a first time customer that always goes to the same place for my medicine. Decided to try this place out and it was HORRIBLE!!! I had to wait over 45 minutes just to have my number called and meanwhile the waiting room emptied and filled up twice. The woman at the front desk was very rude and condescending. Everyone else gave me a very nice experience but if you ask my opinion the business would feel much warmer and more welcome if they let the woman at the front desk go. This place used to be fun with a local diner sort of vibe and a great staff. Through conversations, I learned the place has changed hands a few times and is currently owned by the Cress Corporation. I may have made a mistake on the name but whatever, they suck. No more diner vibe, most of the staff is gone, and their menu isn't worth a glance. I tried this place almost 3 years ago shortly after they opened. They were incredibly indoctrinated and overpriced. I am surprised that they have built a following and can stay in business in spite of being cannabis buffoons. Nick and his slick sales team are not to be trusted and the product here is the same as every mediocre state shop in the valley. The reason for posting now is that Nick used leverage with leafly to remove my review in spite of it being verifiable and justified and Leafly has NO integrity. Long waiting time, decent Meds, horrible shake!! I have gone to this dispensary a couple of time's and the shake was decent at first but kept getting worse. Now it tastes disgusting and the effects do not last very long. Every time I went I waited at least 30 mins before my name was called. I received decent customer service and decent meds, but to be fair I only purchased the $12 Grams. read more

I personally love this dispensary and will still continue coming but I just had a pretty awful experience. I showed up at the dispensary at 15 after open as one of their first guests, this is because they give away free grams of shake for being there at certain times of day. I went in intending to purchase shatter and the lady told me that if I want shatter I would have to call-in and so it is available which won't be for a couple of hours. And so I decided I would do so, decided I was going to come back for flower just after I left so I got back in line went back and back and was assisted by another young lady and she asked what I was here for before and I had said shatter. She then found that there were 11 g of shatter currently stocked in the refrigerator... Other than that and forgetting to put the free gram in the bag.. I'm so upset with this dispensary I should take the time and post pictures as well. It was my first time there and I don't think I'll b back. I've been to several dispensaries in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, in Las Vegas and California. I've bought shake at different locations I know what it looks like. This place sells their patients "shake" that is basically dried up leafs and stems & has no effect on u whatsoever! DO NOT buy the shake its a waste of your time and money! I could physically see crushed up brown leaves and several stems. The shakes not worth the bag its in. My sister had been there before I'll make sure she doesn't go back as well as another friend who went in that day after I recommended it to him, he bought edibles, but also told the not so friendly rep that the shake also looked like leafs. I had to go somewhere and I still have this crap. I wanted to give them no stars, but Yelp requires me to post at least one. read more

I had tried another dispensary right after I got my card based on a friend of a friend's recommendation and a referral card. I also heard it was "the best". Well, I was anxious, they were bored and I didn't any experience to know what I was doing so my experience there was less than stellar. BUT NOT AT EGC!!!! I had done my research on Leafly, New Times, etc. and determined that Encanto Grees Cross would be a good place due to it's great reviews, desired strain of med and the close proximity to home. It's a straight shot down 27th Ave then East on Encanto. Easy peasy. SO glad I went here!. Went today and was initially greated by some really nice, fun women. They had a TV in the waiting room and some very good iced tea to drink while you waited. When I finally got back to the dispensing area the young woman who helped me (didn't catch her name dang it) was so sweet and helped me out so much. She suggested 2 types of meds for my headaches, one day and one night, which was a terrific idea. She got me my new patient preroll, my free Friday shake and helped me pick a tasty edible. I will FOR SURE used this dispensary again! They have an app that let's you preorder or get delivery which is convenient. I definitely felt more at home and less anxious (more grown up) than I did at the last place. Thankfully. This place is wonderful and the staff was SO nice and having such a good time at their jobs. If I was just reviewing the product and prices, it would get 5 stars. This place has unbelievable specials. They were running a Sunday special for $7.77 a gram plus tax. The set up and service is the thing that is lacking. There was a 3 hour wait just to get in the back. Once you pick out your meds? You go to a small room and wait for your product to be weighed. The problem is there is no system for the order once you are in the room. Patients were bickering about who was next. Once I did get to my turn, I had to wait for each strain to be weighed and packages individually. Not having prepackaged good is a blessing and a curse. The girls behind the counter were obviously stressed out and people waiting their turn were complaining about how long it was taking me as I was trying each strain. All together, the visit took about 4 hours. I have to say it was worth it because of the price. They can't help that the patients are low class and look to be homeless. Prices are great and selection is awesome. Just make sure you have free time if you are there on a busy day read more

I ordered through their online service, went to pick up my order, the attendant over charged my account the whole allotment 2.5ounces. Something that has happened to me in the past and is not reversible. Instead of telling me what she did, I suddenly had another women asking me for all me information ensuring me that I would get my 2.5 ounces back. First off, been through it before and no, your company just screwed me out of medicine until it resets. I was promised to get a veteran's discount of 10% with the additional 5 dollars off, I did not get it, I received a lesser discount amount. They screwed me and did not make it right. Fortunately there are other dispensaries with better trained staff and management. They lost a patient for life by their poor handling of this matter. read more

The staff was rude as could be. If you want to wait an hour or more for standard meds this is the place for you. It was really uncomfortable and had some very questionable buyers....(by the way they refuse to tell you a wait time, not even an educated guess.) The location is run down and dirty. The meds are ok, the budtenders are usually friendly, I dislike that everytime I go in the owner tries to kiss me. I've watched and he does it to almost every girl who comes in. I avoid going there because I don't want to be kissed. When I do go it looks like most employees are on breaks even though there is usually a lot of patients waiting. Simply not impressed, Like one of the other reviews said. The crowd is rough and the wait is long. I was deflated when I went in and the selection was tiny buds and they were out of a lot of things. For the wait and the prices. Because my time is valuable ad crossing back over Grand Ave is no fun at all any time of day. It's a great concept trying to keep up with Cannabis Kulture off 43rd and Olive, they always have $10 grams and $15 top shelf and the wait is not long at all. EGC was a waste of my time and I won't be back, because by the time and if by the time anyone tries to make an improvement it will be too late.
