I wish I had read the recent reviews before taking my items in. You get pennies for your nice clothes. The best part is that you have seven days to pick up your check. If you don't come in those seven days, you don't get paid, and you can't pick up your items that didn't sell. I didn't have the energy to argue for my $10, but I do feel this is something they should have mentioned. I don't know how this place is even open. I had some LV and Chanel purses in excellent condition, Carmen Marc Valvo clothing with tags attached and the cheapest item was around $250. I took two car fulls of clothing, purses, and shoes. Never saw some of my items in the store so I'm sure they were taken home. I received a total of $80. Ripoffs! read more

I've been a customer and consigner here for almost 15 years, but no more. They never updated my email address in the switch and when I called to schedule pick up was told there was nothing they could do about not me not receiving payment or my unsold items back. I told them I hadn't used that email for the last 7 years. Employee told me owner would call me to follow up, she never did. New owner is unfriendly and the store is no longer warm or inviting but looks like a sad thrift store. Today I looked through the racks, leggings for $28 with pillings, clothes from Costco, and behind the front desk a mess. I won't be back, miss the old employees, friendly atmosphere and eclectic vibe. Sadly it's just a junk store. read more

I agree with the others. I used to consign here for years. I will never go back. They used to have such a nice staff and friendly. The lady working there was so rude to me, and I never knew when I took my clothes in that I had a short time to pick up my check. I left without payment because I was so disgusted by the whole experience. It was so horrible. So sad! Guess I'll just be donating my clothes going forward or find a new resale shop. You will not be paid honestly for anything you consign here. They are scamming any one who brings in items to sell then pay a very marginal amount less than few dollars for items that sell. The math doesn't math. If you bring in over 30 name brand expensive brands and are paid $11 for everything that sold and returned to you are only two things not sold then tell me how that makes sense??? It's a 3 month consignment too. Just don't use them, this has happened 2 out of 2 times. No more!! read more

DO NOT consign here! New owner is scamming consigners with outrageously low payouts. Had been a customer as well as consigner for a few years but since new ownership I will NEVER shop or consign here EVER again! Review is in agreement with other consigners who were grossly underpaid for items. Excuse month after month without a payout then it was switching computer system then switching banks and less than $10 each payout for the next 2 months which does not justify the money I received for all the pieces I brought in- 20-25 items new with tags. Math definitely does not math! Stay clear of this store. New owner has set up a go fund me page for the store but I believe she is asking for money to cover legal expenses as she was just arrested for theft of $30-$150k (allegedly) as of July 2024. Be cautious consigning with the new ownership. She voided my consignment payout check and did not notify me. I was only able to get my money after threatening a small claims lawsuit. She also did not return the clothes that did not sell even though it was documented that I did not want them donated. This place used to be my go-to. Now it's half the size it once was and the weird hours make it next to impossible to ever get in. I have tried to come at 5.00 pm after work and they are closed. It's Saturday and they don't open until 11:00. It is now 11:10 and no one is here. I don't live close and this is my 3rd wasted trip to try to shop. No longer going to bother. I'm short on time but wanted to add a quick review: I think this is my favorite consignment shop ever (with Revolving Closet its main rival). The prices are generally really amazing, although there are some exceptions (the biggest pricing issue I saw was a Michael Kors pair of pants with the tags still attached from Neiman's Last Call indicating a lesser price than what Encore was asking by a fairly large amount!). I had mixed feelings about the sales associate, she seemed a bit condescending, but sometimes very nice and helpful - maybe a cultural or just weird vibe thing going on? Anyways, she was professional enough, and I spent two hours in the store - WAY longer than I should have, and walked out with a very healthy assortment of name brand items for under 150.00! Ended up stopping by this boutique to look for some items for Mother's Day, just something small to put a smile on a few people faces. This place is a one stop shop for women. It's clean, organized and the people are so helpful. The selections range from low end to high end and the prices are reasonable on all items from shoes to jewelry. I haven't been into this shop for a couple of years. My last visit was less than stellar. I decided to give it another try today. I ended up finding three blouses and a pair of pants that fit my needs. The store was clean and well organized. The prices were good for the quality of items I purchased. Always a puzzle when trying to sell here. You can take in a dozen name brand items in excellent condition, and they will take maybe two, if you are lucky. While you wait, you wander the store and see lots of Target and Kohl's items, which makes you wonder why your stuff isn't good enough. Their prices are good on items to buy, which does translate to less for the consignor. I treat it more as a game than income source, and they are nicer than Clothes Mentor. There is also a large selection of dated formal dresses on one wall. Not sure why - I seriously figured they must be for Halloween costumes or theme parties. read more

Like any consignment shop it's hit or miss. I've found some amazing items and the next time not a thing. Regarding pricing, it comes down to your perception of priced right or over priced. Some people want the brand but want it for nothing. I personally believe Encore Encore does a pretty good job with pricing. read more

I normally don't do reviews but I wanted to make an exception here. This is the best store I've ever shopped at! For years I haven't been able to find a store with the kind of jewelry that fits me, until now! I first went about a week and a half ago on the 10th and found my favorite pair of earrings that I've ever owned. When I went back last Saturday, I couldn't find much more of what I love. I asked the ladies there, and they went back and found jewelry that matched what I love! They wanted to find jewelry for me and Angel especially did a great job helping us find what we were looking for. They even put me on a call list in case something comes in that they think I'd like! All of their clothing and jewelry are fantastic and at a great price too! Totally recommend! read more

I love this store. I have put many items on consignment, as well as purchased many quality items. The customer service is outstanding! They are sweet and very helpful. They know the stores inventory, and the location of items. They can even look up sizes, styles, and different brands in their computer system. They are always willing to go the extra mile. They keep their inventory fresh, by only keeping consignment items for 3 months. The prices are very good. The items are marked down a few times, during the 3 months they are on consignment. This is good for buyers and sellers. As a seller, when an item is getting close to it's 3 month consignment date, it's be marked down and many time sells. As a buyer, I can get great deals. There's times they thought would sell, doesn't sell right away. Then I come in, and it's perfect for me. I've also found things I like, but there not in my price range. Many times the item has sold. Other times, I check back and find it marked down. Great buy for me! In addition to lot's of shopping, I've brought dozens of items into the store for consignment. They do not take everything, but a lot of my items sell. The have always been very professional when going through my items. When you bring your items in, you can browse, shop or sit and relax. Once they determine the Items they will accept on consignment, they give your other items back to you. There's many reasons they may not accept an item. The main reason is the item is more than 2-3 years old, or it's not in style. They do accept vintage items. Sometimes they already have enough of a style or type of item in the inventory. They know the current styles, brands, and types of items that they currently selling. They also know what many of their regular customers are looking for. Great store!!! read more

This is a cute little consignment boutique. The women were friendly and helpful, and there was lots of inventory. I found two very cute items to buy, and put several of my own items up for sale. If you have items to sell, you enter around back and they will go through and choose what they like. Your items are put on the racks, and when they are sold, you will be sent the money. You can choose to get 40% cash or 50% of the price in store credit for your items sold. If your items aren't purchased in 90 days, you can choose to pick them up or donate them. So not impressed. I've been consigning my clothes for years with other stores in a different state and am used to better service. The wait to drop off your clothing can be long (I waited close to an hour) and when I went in the store there was maybe one or two customers so definitely no excuse for the long wait. I tried to consign a fairly large number of professional clothing (slacks, blouses, tanks, jackets) that were in excellent condition and purchased within the past year (at moderate - high priced retailers.) and was told that the brands weren't what they were looking for nor were the styles. Instead they took my clothing that was purchased at target? Really? I do not feel their prices in the store are competitive nor do I feel the amount they give you for your clothes is acceptable. Oh and get this... they make YOU do the work to follow up to see if your items were sold. And if you don't, then you're out of luck and lose your items. So, you do all the work and they make a profit. NOT a business practice I'm inclined to accommodate in the future. I'd rather donate my items to goodwill and support a company that shows a little respect to their customers and supports the community. I will not be returning and recommend you do not waste your time. read more

Not impressed with any of the customer service. I asked to see some items in the glass and felt like it was to much of a problem for the lady. Not certain, but I got the feeling she was the manager or owner. If I was asking her a question about an item, she would have to greet each person and say what can I help you with, when I thought she was helping me. I understand the need to greet people but please focus on who you are helping. This was my first time in the shop and I asked her about shopping there and she went on to hand me a paper about selling. I said I was not selling and wanting to shop. She then still explained the selling and highlighted the paper. I then roamed the store and found a few items to try on. I went back to try on and she said, we ribbon the items you are trying on. Yeah thanks but you told me nothing about the store so I was winging it. I then decided it was not worth to keep dealing with this store and left.
