Attempted to inquire about services for either the 12th or 13th of May in Madison. Despite website showing numerous vehicle options and ability to book now - when I reached out to business owner he emailed me and stated they were totally booked that weekend. . Wanted to ask about getting his help to find the best fit for our needs. Turns out when you book with them, they then review the bookings and determine which reservations they will fulfill. So just because it says there is availability and you book the car, they can come back and cancel it. Seems a bit sketchy. I understand they are a for profit company but when will they cancel on you? Could leave you hanging. Seems a bit sketchy and uncertain. Booker beware. Since we've been emailing I'm certain any booking I make based on their site's availability will be unable to be fulfilled. January in Wisconsin... what more can I say. Being dressed up, wearing heels and schlepping through slush and snow and ice from a parking garage to the Overature was NOT AN OPTION. Nor was I looking forward to schlepping again to the COLD PARKING GARAGE AND COLD CAR after the show. So We decided to use Encore again for our trip to the Overature to see Hamilton as the forecast was calling for frigid temps and possibly more snow. I say again because we have used Encore in the past and had such a great experience; FLAWLESS is a word I would use to best describe the experience BOTH TIMES. This particular time we booked Encore for Sunday January 18th. I called up Mark and when you call Mark, the owner, it's like you're calling a friend. Mark says sure I have a car for you. Sent me an email confirmation w itinerary and another confirmation email the day before with the itinerary once again including the driver's picture and cell phone number. This brings us up to the day of. Steve showed up perfectly on time at 11:30am with a Cadillac ATS WITH HEATED BACK SEATS and got us down there to Overature within 30 minutes. The show started at 1pm. So plenty of time before the show, which I like. Steve dropped us right in front of the Overature at the front doors. This is my speed. Being treated like royalty if only for a day. He picked us up in the exact same spot after the show was over. And I will add it was snowing like crazy when we came out of the show but Steve was already there waiting for us... with a warm car with those heated back seats! I will add that Steve was very nice, courteous, friendly and fun! It's not everyday that you hire a driver for an event or go through a Pizza Hut Drive through on your way home. What an experience!!! He was also readily available after our event and picked us up promptly, even though our event ran long. The management was easy to communicate with and easily adjusted our schedule when we needed. Recently, a few lucky students won a limousine ride with our principal. I was asked to make the transportation arrangements with another local company, who was willing to provide discounted services. I used Encore's service twice in the last two weeks and had excellent experiences both times. Mark (the owner) is friendly, professional and organized. My first trip was from the Milwaukee airport to the Madison area. I was wary of relying on a cab or Uber for such a long trip with unpredictable weather, and I am so glad I went with Encore for their car service. They sent me a confirmation in advance so I knew exactly who I was looking for at the airport and had a contact number. Dan the driver assured me that he was watching my flight (which arrived an hour late) and was there waiting for me at midnight, in a suit, with a warm running car and cold water (and got my luggage for me while I quickly took my dog outside). He was a former military and professional truck driver and knew all the back roads to get through the myriad of Milwaukee construction road closures (we had good weather but I would have felt very safe even if it had been a blizzard). The second trip was with Mark for my mother's birthday. We wanted to do something special before going to dinner so we got a limo. Mark was right on time and accommodated picking up my brother first so he was already in the car when we pulled up in front of my parent's house. My mom was thrilled with the surprise and Mark was so nice to take family pictures and took us through the Olin Park holiday lights as a treat before dropping us off in downtown Madison. The limo and the sedan were spotless and modern. Seriously, if you need a car service in the Madison or Milwaukee area, I can't recommend Encore enough!
