My therapist took the time to look at the profile I filled out and my skin, and discuss it in some detail before beginning. It felt thoroughly considered. The treatment room is comfortable. You'll need to remove your top but your whole body will be covered in a thick, fluffy towel. The room was perfectly climate-controlled so I was never hot or cold. She told me what she was doing as she went through the various treatments, which I liked. (But wasn't overlay chatty, which I also liked.) In addition to the face treatments, there was also some had massage. I was so relaxed that I certainly dozed off at one point. I was surprised the facial didn't include any extraction... I left with softer and smoother skin for sure, but I had never had a facial which didn't include that. (And my skin is far from perfect.) As usual, she recommended products at the end but it wasn't a hard sell - I appreciated the information but didn't feel pressured to buy. The products are quite expensive - $80-$140, but the facial was reasonably priced at $150.

In fact, it was actually less time, as I've included the inital discussion/form with therapist, undressing, dressing again and the sales recommendations at the end of the massage. On telling the receptionist (which I felt embarassed doing so), I was awkwardly given a generic $25 off next treatment voucher. I just shouldn't have paid the full price in hindsight, as 120 is astronomical for an approx. 30min massage. The massage itself was good. I have frequented other Endota salons, and loved the treatments and services, so am really disheartened. I won't be back.

The discreetness is perfect for guys who want to spoil themselves with some relaxation... like for example a pedicure. So I have never had a pedicure but both of my sisters and brother in law swear by them, so I thought for one of my sister's birthdays I would treat her to one and get myself one at the same time. With my other siblings being pedicure aficionados they recommended populars places which were generally 90% female and not so discreet. Endota Melbourne sprang to mind as I was treated to a massage a year back for my birthday using a Red Balloon Voucher (do not recommend these things as they are so painful to use). Let me just say my issues with Red Balloon made me need a massage even more, but thankfully Endota Melbourne were extremely professional and sorted it all out. From the minute we were shown the actual float pool I was absolutely delighted. The door opened onto the pool and there were lights like stars in the ceiling. The water was warm and we were able to have the lights on or be in complete darkness. You are given ear plugs, to keep water out of your ears, they also make the experience great as you won't hear many sounds, just your own breathing. As I relaxed and floated in the warm water I felt I was able to take a deeper breath than I had taken for quite a while. I wasn't aware of moving, but found I ended up in a different position to when I started. Although random thoughts came into my mind I was able to push them away and just be in the moment. I have now had five Floats and have three more to go. The last four were in a single room. I can't recommend it enough. I was nervous and sceptical before the experience but will now have it as often as I can afford. It is cheaper than a visit to the Doctor and to me more beneficial. The premises are pristine and you will enjoy a soothing cup of herbal tea afterwards which has been selected to your own needs as you rest for about fifteen minutes. I do not sleep well. After a float I was able to sleep that night for five hours (a miracle for me) before waking. A friend recommended it to me, otherwise I would never have tried it. I just love it!

I have eczema attacks and there's nothing like a spa treatment to calm everything down. Massage: Their relaxation massage puts me right to sleep! Not sure if it is because of the relaxing smells in Endota, the music or the skilled hands. The remedial can cause aching however your muscles will thank you in the end. I have also tried the hot rock massage however would not do this again...just felt like someone was drawing on my back with an annoying piece of smooth warm rock. Facials: I have only tried the endota organic facial but enjoyed it so much that I have all the products at home to do my own facials whenever I choose. Love: wild orange spritzer, fig n sugar cleaner, rosehip oil (life saver for eczema), bush honey & macadamia face cleanser. Overall, I prefer their products to their spa skills/service.

The towel resting over my eyes was used to wipe the therapists hands thereby pulling the towel off my face in a very hap hazard clunky fashion. The roller chair she used to move around the bed was not carefully rolled around the room but rather allowed to bang into the bed making the entire experience (and for hours afterwards) frustrating and not relaxing at all. The guys at Inversion specialise in remedial therapy, which means they use a mix of trigger and pressure point therapy - it sounds a bit wanky, but... wow. It was amazing, and created some really bizarre sensations. I also have had a troubling back for quite a number of years, but the masseurs run over everything before they begin to be sure they don't injure anything further. They are completely professional and even managed to fix my crook back. Considering the prices of a number of other similar businesses, Inversion is incredibly affordable and offer deals if it's your first time. This is not the kind of place you pop in to sporadically on the weekend, book a time and really enjoy yourself.

They ask for upfront payment in cash, and charge $1.90 for using a card (credit and debit) to pay, I was not asked if I have any pain/injury/pregnancy/allergies, the staff member laughed and joked loudly with other staff when she left the room multiple times without warning and roughly whipped the eye mask from my face twice.
