Went there for lunch with my friends and during COVID and a Sunday, it was easy to get a table. The waitress was very friendly and explained the menu to us, since we didn't know much about turkish food. I ordered the Turkish tea and the Guvetch Turc. While waiting for our meal, we were served with some fresh Tarama and Tzatziki dips, olives, and pickled peppers with bread. I honestly loved all of it, especially the Tarama. It really got my appetite going. The tea was too little for the price, it was some black tea, I think. And I don't remember tasting some spice that makes it uniquely "Turk". The Guvetch Turk is a lamb stew with feta cheese, eggplants, tomatoes and courgettes. It was baked just before serving. It was served with a side of baked potatoes and salad. It was very delicious altogether. The saltiness of the feta cheese brings out the sweetness of the baked tomatoes. The lamb was soft and blended well with the rest of the dish. I wanted more feta cheese on my dish cos it was so good and it wasn't enough for my liking. Overall, i loved the place and I'm glad to finally have tried it! I will come back! read more
