Usually after the first week of classes, I start to dread going to the next class, but I enjoyed these classes so thorougly that I found myself excited to go everyday and I didn't want to miss anything in class. On days that I couldn't make it to class because of work, Maripaz took the time to email me the lesson and the homework. Maripaz also teaches us things that are so useful. Common phrases and how to use them. Not just stuff from the textbook. I feel more like a human being when speaking to people, instead of like a robot. -The class sizes! One of my pet peeves when taking a language class is when the classes are so big, you don't get a chance to practice speaking the language. At M&M, the classes have a maximum of 6 students. I felt that I was given sufficient time to practice speaking and answering questions. I could ask when I didn't understand something and I didn't feel like I was holding the rest of the class back. You get to know your classmates more personally and there is a nice bond and confidence that comes from that. -The school. The school is located 3 minutes walking distance from Monumental station. It is easy to get to. They have cookies, tea, and coffee for their students too! They also have a library where you can borrow books in Spanish or English. They are good books too!!! I finally feel like I understand how to use the grammar I had previously learned. It is a good feeling to be able to put it into practical use. I whole-heartedly recommend this school.

My Spanish teacher Maripaz, kept class, fun and interesting, something I never experienced whilst studying languages at school. One of the best things about the classes is that they were for a maximum of 6 people which allowed you to have your questions answered and to allow you to participate regularly within the class. Because of the building's beauty and personality, the entire educational process feels unique and motivating. Every day from 9:30 to 13:30, I attended the intense morning lessons. After a 20-minute break, we had a second lesson with a new teacher from 11:40 to 13:40. The first class ran from 9:30 to 11:20. At first, I was concerned that four hours a day would seem long, but in reality, the classes were so interesting that I didn't realize how quickly the time was passing. The program's structure is extremely well-organized. There is a clear and seamless transition between each level. I'm rather pleased of myself because I started at the end of the A1 level and worked my way up to B2 after five months. We practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in these all-encompassing lessons. Each level concludes with a comprehensive exam that includes speaking. Depending on your score, you can either advance or repeat the level to improve your understanding. I also really enjoyed that the teachers are locals, so you learn not only the language but also the local context, customs, and culture. Following five months of complete immersion,There just isn't a better way to learn a language, in my opinion.

I attended a 16 week course and paid close to 2000 eur for this. First of all, I agree with many…read morethat the teaching is bizarre, and difficult to understand, and when you do not understand, you are becoming despised. Also, is was not possible for me or my classmates to move up/down a level when we asked to. Last day, I was informed that I passed the A1 course and received a diploma. I now need a certificate from where they certify, this to be able to enter a 3 year education in my home country. I NOW 3 years later, get the info that I've not been there more than 80% and therefore can not get this certificate saying that I'm approved for the course because of absence. It's hard for me to believe I've been missing MORE than one day a week, for 16 weeks, so I request a protocol that shows exactly when I've been away. They then inform me that this information is only saved for 1 year??? Meaning there is no proof of my absence. Not to mention that this goes against the GDPR law. Meaning they BASE A RATE on an absence, which they can not even prove, which means I can not go on with my life and study :) I have contacted a lawyer in this as this affects my future, and because it violates GDPR, but I do want to inform others about this. By the way, the school has stopped responding to my mail :) For that kind of money, I at least expected some kind of respect and understanding in this. :)

You really need to learn this material in a class... and further - you have to actually put it into practice. Lisa runs a great school where the teachers are teaching us how to teach English, using the methods that we are then to use in actual classrooms of students looking to learn English. This is a totally hands-on course where after the first week, I was put in a classroom situation and actually teaching (practicing of course) with a teacher observer making sure i didn't mess up. Each subsequent class I taught improved, as I slowly incorporated my new lessons from the morning class into the afternoon lesson that I was giving. All of the teachers are helpful, patient, and make learning fun. This is a super-intensive course that has been kicking my ass for the past 3 weeks (almost done - yay!), but I feel completely prepared to go out and teach/tutor English. Who knew that the first thing I'd do when I moved to Spain was to learn English... go figure.

The class work was very simple Spanish. The afternoon activities were exploring the city, which was very neat, but everything was in English. We spoke to the directors several times, they said they will fix the problems, but nothing was ever done. In addition, classroom assignments every Monday take more than an hour to do. There are only 3 hours of lessons each day. Instead of simply having lists where families can look at and self direct to the instructors, students stand around for more than an hour as they call every name several times. This inefficient method of classroom assignments occurs every Monday.
