But, once you click submit they send the entire form - with all your responses - to your e-mail address, unencrypted. Once they verify your insurance and all that (took a day), they call you back and schedule an appointment. I could either wait a month or, if willing to drive to Magna, wait a week. OK, drive to Magna is "only" 30 min. Day before appointment I get the routine text reminding me. Day of the appointment I drive out there and try to check in. No. They canceled the appointment because the therapist - and I quote - "didn't like your insurance". Uh... United Healthcare? No discussion, no alternative. No apology. I guess it was too much trouble to call, e-mail, or text that they'd canceled the appointment? Easier to just let me drive in and tell me to blow off. Great therapy there guys! Thanks for caring.

I spent over 3 months trying to get started with therapy @ Healing Pathways, and they repeatedly didn't follow through so I finally wised up and went elsewhere. They never answer the phone. Their voicemail message asks you to leave a message, text or email them which I did multiple times before receiving a response. When they finally sent a message responding, it was clear they not listened to/read any of my messages, asked me what I was contacting them about it and asked me to call them at the same number (that they never answer) which I did and received no response. I had to email, text and call several more times before receiving a response. When I did receive communication from someone, the message didn't identify who was sending/leaving the message and I received vastly different information from one person/message to the next. At one point, I was told they had scheduled some appointments for me that they ended up canceling, without communicating a reason to me. They told me they would get back with me to reschedule and never did. I wish I would've sought out a solo therapist with good reviews in the first place who doesn't drop the ball, which would have saved me a so much time and frustration, and many months of my life!

Dustin understands anxiety well and knows how to help you methodically address it and challenge yourself, but at completely manageable levels to help you mitigate overwhelm or depression. Dustin is also very understanding and accepting--no need to censor yourself no matter who you are or how you live your life--and has a great sense of humor but can read the room :) and doesn't make light of your heavier, more difficult moments. He's supportive, encouraging, knows how to help you get results, and I would recommend him to anyone.
