I currently live near prospect park in Brooklyn, NY -but was visiting family who live in sparta. I had no idea this train station was even here and was shocked at how spacious it was when I stepped inside. It's very, very well made with lots of historical restoration and charm. Everything from the trim on the windows to the floor looks as if it was done with a lot of craftsmanship. The person who built it is absolutely someone I would hire to do work in my own home based on the level of detail in the space. I'm very into building details and I love the crown molding used on the walls. Very well done. There is ALOT of parking outside the building, and everything is clean and well kept. It's also centrally located (you can access it easily from the highway). There's also legit security cameras mounted on the wall and outside. This really was well thought out and made me feel safer. Train Creative easily and comfortably sits 50+ people as it did last night for the film festival. This would be an amazing place to give a class, teach yoga or do art shows. You could also have a small intimate wedding here framed by the backdrop of the woods... At the back of the space, there's a large kitchen but I'll be honest, because I'm vegan (for religious reasons) I didn't go back there to see it up close since I was not going to eat anything. However, it was a full kitchen and flowed nicely with the space. You could absolutely have a party here and the setting is very woodsy, and classy. It has a private cottage feel and is nothing like a rental hall. It honestly reminded me a bit of The Barn at Perona Farms. The forest around it gives Train Creative a touch of magic as well. I would absolutely come back in the future especially to see another film festival.

It is the perfect combination of structure and fun for our young daughter. The facility is very safe and always clean. Parents are encouraged to speak with the staff daily, so between conversations and the daily reports I always know what is going on with my daughter and in the classroom. The teachers and aids are all so warm with the kids and take exceptional care of each of them. At first, I had a really hard time leaving my daughter at daycare, but my daughter loves going there and has blossomed during her time at Kiddie Academy of Sparta. Now, I go to work without any nagging thoughts about whether my daughter is okay or happy or not feeling well. I know she's getting optimal care and having a blast. :-)

(He was at another school- which was HORRIBLE compared to Goddard) This was the BEST decision we ever made in regards to our sons well being and education. The last 5 years have been great. For once I feel like for the teachers, this is their profession - not just a job during college or until they get an elementary school gig. There seems to be little staff turnover and they genuinely seem happy, which reflects in my child's happiness. The curriculum is thoughtful, age appropriate, and even challenging. I love knowing that my daughter is truly being prepped for kindergarten and being exposed to many different subjects on a daily basis with their 30 minute curriculum schedule. They bring technology into the classroom, but in an educational way, and it in no way rules the classroom. They offer a very hands in, dynamic learning experience with plenty of time for both collaborative and independent playtime. I couldn't be happier and would recommend it to any parent.

Deerkill is by far the best day camp in the Rockland County area. The staff (from counselors to instructors) is also fantastic and a group of very experienced professionals. The directors are always developing new programs and bringing in the latest activities for campers of all ages. One of the newest additions to the camp is the climbing wall and zip line. My kids could not get enough of them. My kids are also huge fans of animals and the fact that Deerkill has a pony, and a couple of friendly alpacas is a great plus. The staff is amazingly attentive and is always willing to listen to any concerns we may have. Coming from the mental health field, Children's Safe Stay provides an emotionally intelligent and safe environment for children to not only play but learn as well. Their staff treats these children as their own and ALL interactions I have had with all of them have been nothing but pleasant. We pick our child up every day happy and she is never afraid to go with the teachers upon drop off. We interviewed many other daycares and we are so glad we chose this one.
