While they didn't service my mother's brand of hearing aids, she said she would take a look. All that was needed was a wax cleaning. My mom could hear again. My experience with Dr. Sam. He's really understanding and a fantastic ear doctor. I really felt…read moreheard and seen here. He didn't brush off my symptoms as something that it wasn't. It could have been a simple I leave and use drops for several weeks or I finish the issue today. I'm thankful he didn't save things for later and figured a fix for me so I didn't have to travel miles and miles. He fixed my issue in under thirty mintues. I haven't heard this great out of my right ear since I have no idea actually. He was very sensitive to my anxiety and my fear of loud noises. He handled my ear with extreme care. He really listened to me if being an ear doctor doesn't work out for him, he can Definitely be a social worker. He also got the compacted wax that was in my left ear too. I do have a little ache feeling in my right ear but its understandable considering how hard the wax. He used this tool that has to suck the wax which felt strange but didn't hurt. Everyone's experience is going to be different. He mentioned that I have very sensitive ears which is so true. I'm happy to be hearing better out of my right ear. Great team Dr. Sam has and you'll love his funky glasses. Fair warning I posted my before and after photos of my right ear on the NYU review I wrote for the essex location. I didn't want to post the ear photos on this review because I am just reviewing the doctor. He gets 5 out of 5 stars would recommend. Last month when I seen him he had sent me home with drops that hurt me. He felt super bad and suggested I come in right away. He asked me if everything was ok because I missed a thar appointment. As soon as I told him my Cj (cat) passed he comforted me by touching my arm, I appreciated that. He feels like an older brother even tho I'm definitely older than him. Very good vibes from Dr. Sam.
