Stopped at Enrico's on our drive to Connecticut. The place has a fun tavern/pub vibe and the staff was really friendly and quick, which we appreciated after being on the road. The Brussels sprouts were the highlight, super flavorful and crispy. Unfortunately, the sandwich was a letdown, pretty flavorless and not what I was hoping for. Casual, great service and great pizza. The vegetarian is my go-to pizza, colorful, fresh, handmade. My only suggestion would be for the shop to get a hot water kettle and some tea bags so in the sinter or anytime, I could have a hot tea with my meal. The bar side is always full of locals or people passing through. They have social events like trivia, etc. Nice casual atmosphere. Good for families too. It's a stones throw from the famous Brimfield annual antique fare The menu is standard fare Italian but I had gone due to a recommendation that they had good brick oven pizza. However this was disappointingly poor, sub-standard pizza which most definitely DID NOT come from a brick oven. The margarita was recommended as one of the most popular piesbut it was barely better than frozen supermarket offerings. The dough was thin-ish but had no good chewy-crunch6 texture and was remarkably bland. The topping were overly salty, not fresh and the cheese was extremely unappealing. This all added up to explain why the pizza was so inexpensive ($20 for a large) The host and servers were warm, attentive, pleasant and responsive. They mislabeled a kolcsh as a dark lager and dug in their heels even when I provided visual proof from the brewery's website. When I told manager, she was smug and mocking even though she didn't understand beer. She treated me like an idiot and brought out a label that was clearly a sharpie written on the keg label. I'm only giving a few stars due to fact I ordered the taco pizza and was unable to eat until hours later, it was ok but nothing to brag about. I find being this far north the customer service is normal but not what I'm used to; I was already waiting on pizza, hostess was seating 2 people and more waiting so I asked waitress from bar area, who was doing nothing at time, to advise cook I'm adding garlic cheese bread to the taco pizza already back there. Hoping a little time to be cut off; nope too much to ask before putting in a computer? I've waited tables from age 15, that was not customer service. I had to wait longer. Cheese bread didn't seem to have garlic on it. A little expensive for what I received. I'll try again. They do have a lot of menu items. read more

Be patient, if the phone is busy keep calling This local Pizzeria is worth the wait. We called maybe 30 times before getting an answer, but it was Saturday around 7pm so it's understandable. It was a tough choice because everything on their menu sounds amazing. We opted to go with the Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch extra cheese and their Chicken tenders. First off The tenders were amazing , 5 huge pieces of moist chicken blanketed in a crispy coating. No sauce required but I did try their Buffalo. Which was delicious. The pizza will blow your tastebuds away. The combo tastes amazing together with the slices of hot peppers , I believe a sriracha bbq sauce and the creamy ranch. Not to much heat but just enough to make you sweat just a bit. I believe everything is House made and it sure tasted like it! We will definitely be back to try another Fantastic pizza. read more

I'm always recommending people who are looking for a out of the normal pizza joint to try this place out. I think the reviews speak for themselves that the food is delicious. I cannot speak for the bad service reviews because I personally cannot recall a time where the service was below average. What hooked me was the meatball panini and their homemade chips. Always, always went with this when I came in. I've tired myself out from them but I haven't had a better one than from here. Overall this is a top three pizza place for me in my local area (within a 30-45 minute drive from where I live in Monson) when it comes to food, environment, and overall satisfaction. Went on a Friday night with my husband and teenager. It wasn't terribly busy and we were seated right away. The tables were extremely sticky and there were no napkins or silverware out. We ordered drinks and after my son drank his soda he knocked his glass over spilling ice. Someone other than our waitress came over with a trash can and handed my husband a rag so he could clean the table. Dinner arrived and we had to ask for silverware. This was brought to us without napkins. Around 5 mins into our meal the waitress checked in and I asked for napkins. Another 5 mins passed before she brought napkins. At the end of our meal we needed one to go box for pizza. The waitress brought this and she used the parchment paper to grab the extra pizza and tossed it all on top of each other into the box. During dinner our drinks were not refilled (except for my sons because he spilled his). The meals, chicken bruschetta and chicken parm were very heavy on the pasta and slim on the chicken. Overall, the sticky tables and the terrible service will deter us from returning to Enricos. Needless to say, we were disappointed. read more

The bar is very large and U shaped seating perhaps 24 to 28 people with a nice selection of craft beers on tap; the house wine menu is very good and moderately priced. The one drawback are the acoustics making it very difficult to carry on a conversation when the restaurant is busy. Wine by the glass is $8 while bottles run $24 to $30 which was the better value, yet when dining alone a bottle is not the best decision. Having a good house wine by the 1/2 and full carafe would fill in the blanks for a single diner or a larger group, sadly that option is not available. I ordered the baked haddock dinner with a side of spaghetti, I found it odd that it didn't come with bread, rolls or a salad, imo that is a gross over sight. The haddock was very good; cooked perfectly likewise the spaghetti was cooked nicely but the sauce just did not do it for me I left most of it on the plate. Sauce in an Italian restaurant is crucial and should be noteworthy this was a big disappointment. Enrico's is advertised as a pizza restaurant and maybe I should have stuck with that as the pizzas looked very good , I spoke to a couple next to me and they normally order pizza and have always been pleased. This wasn't a good overall first experience,therefore; I won't be returning. read more

Enricos has gone drastically down hill since my last post. I believe ownership has changed a couple times and I it's just not what it used to be. The pizzas aren't cooked enough and the last 2 times I was here the entrees left much to be desired. The last time, a few months ago my veal and pasta sat under a heat lamp until the other people in my party's pizza was being made. Not cool. Tonight I ordered again another veal dish and asked for my pasta on the side. What showed up was completely a mess!!.... Took a friend here telling here that it was good pizza because it used to be. We were both so disappointed. The pizza brought to our table was burnt. The entire crust was black. I was surprised to see the person put it in front of us and not say anything. Our poor waitress came over after (she was not the one that brought it to us - the woman who seated us brought it) and apologized and said she would have never served us a pizza that looked like that. But at that point we were hungry and thought maybe we could eat around it. The entire pizza was over cooked, dry, and flavorless - one of the worst pizza's I've had. We stopped here for dinner, cute little place but that's all the 2 stars are for. I got gluten free pizza with olive oil & garlic sauce, sausage and onion. Crust was good was good however all i could taste was cheese. No hint of garlic or any other flavor. Couldn't toasted sausage or onion most likely because there was just a few little specks of sausage and onion must of been cut with a razor blade. My wife ordered the rice balls with cheese, rice, risotto & cheese they arrived 15 min before my pizza and were cold and had absolutely no seasoning at all. Is it really that hard to season good. I shouldn't be. Has an open kitchen with young kids making pizza that we're doing more laughing and joking than anything else. We had much that day at Teddy G's same n problem no seasoning at all.
