Amazing salon and stylists! Ignore the two 1-star reviews... its true they often aren't accepting new clients (which is no surprise for how popular they are!) but the fragile egos of Karen and Colleen should be ignored. Nelson is a small town, and Enso doesn't build their business around online reviews, but I'm leaving 5-stars anyway. They have been amazing everytime, and I've been going there for over a decade! read more

I had my hair cut and a full head of foils with colour on the roots and a conditioning treatment. The total bill was $367 which is pretty expensive and when I got home I realized my roots were orange so I sent messages but never got a response so I phoned and I was told they were booked till August and couldn't fit me in. Well they did get me in finally after 2 weeks and I asked if he could tone my hair so he did. So now I have silvery/grey blond hair. A few days later they told me not to come to the salon. I was recommended Enso by a friend so I walked in to make an appointment fully expecting to wait a couple of months as they were busy. but the receptionist quite abruptly said they were a closed business so if I don't have a hairdresser he couldn't book me an apt. I felt so unwelcome I didn't ask how long it would be until they had any openings or anything and just left as quickly as possible. it was quite an embarrassing experience. read more
