The best thing about going to The Spa is you really feel pampered with the service. From the lockers up to the room itself, you never feel ignored. Going back to the massage, I was sadly let down. It was still good by The Spa standards, but it was nowhere near as hard as they claimed it to be. Even if you tell the masseuse to add more pressure, they'll only do it for a bit then go back to a more relaxed motion. Maybe in the future they'll offer a super duper deep tissue massage and it'll finally feel right.

I wouldn't say it's the best spa I have ever been to, but what I love about this branch is that they treat you like royalty. The front desk staff are polite and very proper - no off-duty masseurs and masseuses are loitering around or gossiping - which happens in most low-key massage spas. They wash your feet and provide you with clean slippers that you can wear into their massage area. What I also love about the therapists in this branch is their commitment to clean and decent service. They value your privacy and they don't venture near your vulnerable parts, unlike in other spas where they purposefully try to arouse you or hook you into getting some "extra service". I don't care for such indecent service "add-ons" so I appreciate it when my funny bits are covered with the blanket or the towel during the duration of the massage. I didn't understand it at first when I went to the hot tub area(s) but going in the lazy river and trying out their water massages, ya it was a definate need to wear the cap cause theres an area for head massage and the water is pretty rough on your head so its to protect your hair from the rough water and from chemicals. The way to use each water location for a massage is with a push of a button. Theres literally a designated places for everything from head to feet. They make you fill out a brief health screening and take your blood pressure before doing the massage. Unfortunately, my BP was high for their protocol and I could not receive the Swedish massage. The therapist Nitz as well as the other staff were very nice in trying to accommodate me and let me relax in one of the stalls as I really wanted to get a massage. My BP did not come down and they convinced me to try foot reflex with soft pressure instead. I am used to moderate to hard massages so this was completely unsatisfying to me. I am still giving them for now 4 stars for their professionalism and being in the healthcare field myself, I appreciate their concern for the safety of their clients. They seemed to have a pretty open window because we were able to decide which spa package/ massage we wanted when we arrived at 1pm. Before going, the friend who referred me to this place highly recommend the Athlete's Massage but it was 90 minutes, so since we were potentially short on time, we opted for a 60 minute session of a different one. The ladies, who were super sweet, highly recommended the *Traditional Balinese Massage* (Php 1,200). Balinese massage involves percussion, so there certainly was a lot of "chopping" applied to my body; something my muscles greatly appreciated! Filipino massages are notoriously "the BEST" and I can attest to this! I found complete relaxation and somehow she was able to knead out my tight right shoulder which many a masseuse have failed to accomplish. Skill and precision only here! A Balinese massage is heavy on essential oils, so while she did offer me a hot towel post-redressing, I wish she had wiped me down while I was still naked. In any case, one cannot complain post-massage when one is in such a relaxed, blissful state. They even offer the tea in your room, so that you're still in your relaxed setting and not experiencing the blinding light of the front waiting area. Rooms are clean and cozy too! An A+ experience and highly recommended!
