Dr. Gupta is a good doctor, very nice and truly listens to your concerns. I've recommended her to multiple people, including my sibling who also sees her now. The nurses are also lovely. The women who work at the front desk on the other hand are the PERFECT example of mean girls from high school with zero EQ turning to healthcare. They're very passive aggressive and rude. I felt so embarrassed and shamed leaving this office because of what I experienced with the front desk staff. I ended up making a complaint, and I will say, the regional manager did get back to me and investigated it. He called me directly to profusely apologize for his staff's behavior and said he'd handle it in more ways than one. I believe he did because when I went back, they were uncharacteristically nice to me and overly complimentary like they'd been reprimanded. That said, I don't feel comfortable going back to this particular location. Dr. Chowdhury in Old Bridge suggested I switch to the Iselin location because it's closer to me, but I'll be returning to him even if it's a bit of a trek. The staff there are much kinder. read more

My husband took our son to the appointment and everything seemed to go as expected. We were told someone would call within 1-2 weeks to schedule the procedure for tubes in his ears. Two weeks came and gone - no call. My son had another ear infection not even 10 days after his last one and he is running out of medications he can take due to his allergies. His primary said he needs this procedure ASAP. So I spent about an hour total waiting on hold. I spent 99% of the call on hold and the other 1% was someone telling me that they can't help me and I'll get a call. I explained my situation and noted that I really needed my son to be seen asap. When a lady at the front desk told me that there was nothing they can do and they were maybe gonna call me I just wasn't patient, I ended the call because I figured that the conversation was over - she couldn't help me and I was told I needed to wait again. A few minutes later I get a call from the scheduling doctor who starts the call with "so you hung up on the receptionist what do you need?" Unprofessional, rude, and clearly has zero care or understanding that my 18 month old is struggling and I can't fix it without an ENT. I was then told that the doctor only does surgery once a month which is actually ridiculous - what kind of doctor does that?? I was then told I needed to wait an entire month to have him scheduled. I had once again told her that my son has had five ear infections from November to January and we cannot wait a month and she did not seem to care. Awful staff. Disrespectful and dismissive. Called 2 weeks ago to make an appointment for today 3/7 @ 10:20am. When I left for the appointment and got in my car, I called the office just to confirm that my appointment was at 10:20 (I live in Florham Park 45 minutes away from the office so I just wanted to be super sure). The person on the phone confirmed that I had my appointment and all was well. I arrived at the office to check in, only to be told that I didn't have an appointment. The people at the desk thought I was lying and were acting very rude. I walked out, and called again just to make sure I still had my appointment, and again, I was told i do. All in all, the scheduling and front desk associates are incompetent and beyond rude. Barbara, the scheduler, even came at me saying "are you calling me a liar" No Barbara, i'm not. Your scheduling center is. They're the ones who told me twice, before and after I came into the office, that I still had an appointment. You are incompetent. It is extremely unprofessional the way these employees acted. I can not speak for the doctors, as I have still not had a chance to see them. I was a patient of Dr. Mehta's for several years until I moved away from the area. If I weren't so far away in another state, I'd come back here in a heartbeat. My issues were always treated thoroughly until I received relief, there was never a wait, no push towards surgery or other invasive procedures and Dr. Mehta is highly professional with a warm, engaging attitude towards making you feel well. I received an astronomical bill after I was told my insurance would cover everything. I set up a payment plan but they sent me to collection. Would not recommend this practice at all. ENT allows patients to check in prior to arriving and filling out the necessary paperwork. They ask that you send a text message when you have arrived in the parking lot to check in. They ask that you wait in your car until the doctor is ready to see you. Upon walking in the office, they have a temperature check machine and hand sanitizer station at the door. I love the ENT office, the staff is very friendly. However, the only issue I have, I always have to wait 30-40 mins before I actually go back to see the doctor. I wish the scheduling could be better regarding your apt. time. read more

I went there for pimple in my ear. The doctor was pregnant. She could not even reach to the chair and didn't even adjust the chair to reach to my height to examin me. Happily she said there is nothing in there. I kept on asking to give me some meds as the pimple hurts however after few days it was gone with home remedies but she was not helpful at all. I will never go back to Dr Sayani. I recommend her to stay at home when she is not feeling well or does not want to work. Because after that not only ENT billing department is following up but also my insurance company to pay them. I had to dispute the charges. I visited this office several months ago to diagnose the cause of my snoring. The experience was extremely upsetting. The front desk person was incredibly rude and dismissive to people asking the simplest of questions about scheduling appointments and billing. She was downright hostile. Then, when we were lead to an exam room, they ushered us into a dirty room - one that had not been tidied/sanitized from the previous patient. The nurse did her job - basic vital checks in a pseudo-friendly way. When Dr. Azer came in (after we had been waiting for 40 minutes, of course), he was extremely brusque and uninformative. He was awkward, pushy with the nurse in the room, and uncomfortable to be around. He performed a laryngoscopy (a procedure in which a flexible tube with a camera at the end is pushed down your nose to be able to examine your vocal cords and laryngeal area). I've had this procedure done on myself a lot - the doctor always numbs the area first because it can be painful. The nurse began to numb the area, and the doctor stopped her and inexplicably said "no need." So, they jammed this tube down my nose with no numbing After it was over, the doctor simply said, "Yeah looks inflamed. Little bit of mucus. Might be from reflux." He didn't even ask about my smoking and drinking habits, which are on the more moderate side. When I pointed these habits out as a possible cause he casually said "Oh you smoke? Yeah, could be." THAT was the extent of his diagnosis and medical questioning. So I left, after the doctor ordered a home sleep study. On the way out, I TRIPLE-checked that everything would be covered by the insurance company and we wouldn't be billed, to which the office staff agreed. Two weeks later I get the sleep study in the mail. I set up the device, but an error message pops up, saying that it couldn't record the data. I called the helpline on the device, to which (after an HOUR of being passed around on the phone at midnight on a weeknight), the associate told us that the doctor's office never uploaded my medical info to the device, so I couldn't conduct the sleep study after all. I still have no answers about his extreme snoring. But it doesn't end here. Lo and behold, two months later I get a bill in the mail for the laryngoscopy, for HUNDREDS of dollars. At NO point in the exam was I informed that the "procedure" I underwent may not be totally covered by insurance. The billing customer service representative explained to me why I was charged (having to do with his exact insurance plan and deductible), and she was the most competent of any person I dealt with in this entire process. To sum up, we are paying hundreds of dollars for a procedure we weren't informed might cost us out of pocket, after the procedure was performed hastily and by a staff of unfriendly, uncommunicative, arrogant, hostile people in an unclean room. Every step of the way was completely unprofessional and incompetently managed. For this we drove an hour each way, and still have no information about my snoring. I do NOT recommend this office to anyone who takes their time, money, and health seriously. read more

They do tests on other people with all of your information, keep asking if I had the test done because the piece of paper had all of my information, yet the results were someone else's since I did not have the test done. The staff and the doctor I saw were rude, incompetent, and condescending. The doctor kept interrupting me stating that she did not want to hear what I had to say. This was my first time at any ENT and Allergy facility and my first visit with Dr. Rosin. I was recommended by my primary doctor. The check in from my car was simple and I was called into the office quickly. I only waited about 10 minutes and was taken to a room. The Dr. needed the nurses help right away and she left me to wait. It was not a long time and the nurse came back apologizing for my wait! So courteous and sincere. I met Dr. Rosin who was absolutely wonderful. The Doctor then apologized for my wait! We reviewed my issues, she did a very thorough exam and explained everything she was doing in a simple way I could follow along. You could just tell they truly care about their patients! I am hoping to not have to go back any time soon (for good health reasons) but, if and when I need this type of medical attention again I'll have their number on speed dial! read more

They charged my wife for a regular visit $825, they marked down on the invoice that she received "Nasal Endoscopy", all what she received that day was a normal check up exam, nothing special, her insurance didn't pay for the visit because of the deductible, I called the office couple times, I asked why the bill was that high and why these charges were never disclosed, they had no clear answer. Please stay away from them, do your home work and find a practice that doesn't rip you off. read more

I'm shocked there are not more reviews for this office. There​ is only one posted I feel is not a full representation of the doctors and staff. I have nothing but good things to say about this group and the Old Bridge office. My primary care is Dr. Mehta, my wife recommend me to him. He was the first doctor who correctly diagnosed and treated my ear condition, Miniere's disease. I know have almost all my hearing back and nearly symptom free. After my last bout, he recommended me to Dr. Ort who is also in the office. The care and attention I get from them is excellent. Recently my wife visited Dr. Metha for a problem. A couple of days later he personally called her to see how she was. Doctor's just don't do that anymore and this shows thier level of care and attention. I recommend a friend to this group who has the same problem as me. His previous doctor wanted to perform surgery. He is now symptom free without surgery. I love and completely trust this group. I went to Dr. Mehta 2 years ago for chronic sinus issues. He started with the least invasive methods and took his time explaining treatment options over the course of a few months. He is patient, diligent, and has wonderful bedside manner. He ended up doing surgery on me as the other options weren't providing relief. It's been 2 years and all of my issues have been greatly reduced. I am sleeping better and have far less pain than I had 2 years ago. I cant give them any star. Our Doctor is Dr. Chowdury, wonderful man, but this is the most nasty office staffs ever I saw in a doctors office. So rude, when we call them they are not polite, no respect to anyone, they are thinking system is running through them. What to do? if this office has this kind of staff, there business will flourish, we are trying to get the surgical co ordinator for the last 2 days and she never called us back. Doctor said my daughter need an urent surgery to put the tube on her ear and said the surgical corordiator will call, if she doesnt call, call them, but we are trying to get her and left the messages many times! I had a pretty bad ear wax blockage in my left ear so after doing some research I decided to make an appointment with ent and allergy. The appointment was smoothly done and the staff was courteous. They were the only ones I could find who told me I could come in at any time for ear wax removal, as opposed to other places where the wait time was at least a week. ( Imagine suffering deafness for another week ;/) Upon arriving at the office I was impressed by how clean and shiny the place was. Well decorated, good waiting room and lots of material to read. The sign in process was on an ipad type device which was another factor I was quite impressed by. Paper work is quite tedious and not as fun. I was called in after 5 minutes, to meet with the doctor. He seemed to be quite rushed, talked fast, and after his initial checkup inside my ear (which he handled rather roughly) he micro suctioned out the wax ( it was rather painful and very loud). I mentioned my ear didn't feel completely clean, even though I could finally hear, and he told me my eardrum looked inflamed because of some home remedies I had tried. He added in some anti-inflammatory eardrops and told me the ear drum would settle down in a day or two, and left the room saying we could go. The whole experience was very rushed and I did not feel satisfied with my ear because it still felt stuffy. But I thought it was probably my eardrum so I planned on waiting a week at least to see if it would settle down. That night for the first time I experienced a loud ringing in my ear before going to sleep. I was alarmed and on googling it, it seemed to be a common side effect of micro suction. Thankfully it went away the next morning. I called ent and allergy to try and speak to the doctor, but the receptionist kept transferring me to the nurse and the ent would not come on the phone. She finally told me the ent said I should come in for a hearing test. I did not go in for a hearing test because my hearing was perfectly fine. A week later, much to my chagrin my ear was blocked AGAIN. Very annoyed at the inept removal, I looked up another ent and had to go through the partial deafness again., (There was no way I was going to go back there and end up with more pain and damage to my ear). Dr Carl Mazzara is an excellent ent who took complete care of my problem (with warm water irrigation and NO pain) and spent a sufficient amount of time with my concerns and explaining to me what had gone wrong. Apparently the previous ent had left a bit of wax in my ear (just as I had suspected) which had softened and covered my whole ear drum after a few days. I will def not go back to ent allergy and associates again, what a waste of money, they billed close to $400 for an incompetent cleaning, and I had to suffer needlessly for an additional week or so because of the way they handled my case. read more

I saw Dr. Prabhat about 4 weeks ago with sudden complete hearing loss in my left ear for about 3 weeks prior. He took my concerns seriously, and sent me to Dr. Ort. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Ort. He addressed my concerns and answered every question I had. We came up with a treatment plan and ran with it. One steroid shot a week into the eardrum for 3 weeks. After the first shot, we saw such a drastic change in my hearing and I was actually able to hear things. After the second shot, i almost have my hearing back. I can not thank Dr. Ort enough. I was so scared to loose my hearing at 25 years old. Getting personal phone calls from both Dr. Ort and Dr. Prabhat during and after my care to see how I was doing shows that they truly care. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone I can. read more

Having thought I exhausted all of my options for what I was told was nothing, I came to ENT and Allergy of Woodbridge, NJ and Dr. Ambrosio, who immediately knew and corrected the problem! His receptionist there, Desarie, is also very helpful, concerned, considerate and personable, as are the rest of his staff including Toni, Kelsey, Terri, Fran. That in itself shows the caliber of practice you are dealing with! I recommend this practice to anyone who comes to me having issues that they specialize in but it doesn't stop there; I was in the office one day ready to pass out as I was coming down with something and I got an exam from my ENT doctor there, Dr. Chowdhury, who is also exceptional at what he does, as I would from my primary doctor and they would not let me leave until they were sure I was ok!
