My experience with the Clinton branch has so far been a very good experience. The office was a little confusing to find as they moved and there is not any signage on the building where their location is. I had booked the car online and I was nervous about the car being there, due to a previous rental disaster from a different Enterprise location. Not only was the car there but it was clean and had no odors within. The staff was friendly and answered every question and even started the car to allow the air conditioning to cool the car before I took possession, which I very much appreciated since we are in a heat advisory. Enterprise Rental Car @ Clinton National Airport Negative 5 Stars. You should close your doors. It all started during the ice storm [1/3 - 1/5] i got a Chrysler van as a insurance rental due to being backed into. The van kept saying it was in a collision and keep locking up the brakes and correcting my steering during a snow storm with my 1.5yr old in the car. Causing it to slide all over the place and almost ditching the car, hitting posts, and others. I made calls they said they would not shut those features off. You need their code. It's like they wanted us to wreak the van. They wanted 600 for insurance. I could not afford that, plus the other persons insurance was paying for vehicle rental. I signed that I didn't take it, but I thought the insurance company coverd it all? Did last time i did this. My vehicle was ready 1/9 for pick up the clinton office closes at 11am-1pm. I call Warrensburg office got told to drop in the box and walk. I had my 1.5yr old with me. I called corporate and they told me the same. A guy who worked there called me saying " they are small store, only 20 cars, and that's why they can't help me" it's told him off and said "do better". I asked if I could leave car at repair shop, they said only if the shop will sign a form making them liable for the vehicle and dropping it off. They said no. walked with my son over a mile back to my car when a older lady picked us up and drove us the last mile, 2 mile trip. My son was shaking and quiet. When I called the last time after hours, it went direct to someone who informed me that nothing I had reported went to corporate. It got routed directly to the Clinton offices and region. The manager in Warrensburg was one of the ones who told me to walk, I found out. She made sure it went direct to corporate after I stated that I would sue if we get sick and see them all in court. I was not nice to any of them except the last lady who helped me. I'm supposed to get a call tomorrow or Monday. Let's see how this goes. First, let me say I didn't interact with a single person at this location, and maybe that is the problem. What is a business with no employees? Well I'll tell you it's enterprise rent a car in Clinton, Missouri. No one can screw ya like these guys. Who says you can get a car today in 15 minutes when you call and then turn around and say "we have no cars within 60 miles of you" within 15 minutes? Again, it's enterprise rent a car in Clinton. Got stranded in Clinton and without the help of the friendly people of Clinton we would have been screwed. So thanks for nothing. read more

This gets Zero Stars. I have been trying for 3 hours via phone to reach this office to confirm the receipt of my car I dropped off last night using the key drop box method. Every call eventually goes to a voicemail box that is not set up so I can't even leave a voicemail. Shame on you Enterprise for not having better service or control of your smaller offices. Your Omaha branch was fantastic! But Clinton, MO needs your attention ASAP. read more

My mother had reserved a rental here a month in advance, The morning of the pick up day arrives and they tell her they have no cars available for her to rent. This is absolutely unacceptable in every way. What is the point in reservations if you are just going to be told DAY OF that they have nothing available. Extremely disappointed as this is inexcusable. If there were, in fact, no availability they should have reached out AT THE VERY LEAST 24 hours in advance so we could maybe had a chance of making another arrangement. I will not suggest anyone do business with Enterprise ever again. read more

Worst experience I have ever had in terms of renting a vehicle. We have had a car on reservation for a month now for a one day rental from 10am to 3pm (giving us some wiggle room for anything that may come up). It is the morning of and they called us around 9:55am letting us know that the car would be ready around 1pm due to an oil change. We needed this car to get the airport in which our flight was at 3pm. We showed up at at enterprise at 11:45, where the extremely rude and unhelpful front desk attendant offered not one solution to the very serious problem he had suddenly unraveled in our little time frame now in this moment. The only vocabulary he seemed to know was the word "unfortunately". *Is there another car we can take? "Unfortunately that one needs an oil change as well" *Can you call your supervisor and please see if you can get approval? "Unfortunately I cannot, I would lose my job" *If you were in our shoes, how would you go about getting to the airport? "Unfortunately I don't have an answer for that" *Alright, will you please cancel our reservation and printout the cancellation receipt? "Unfortunately I have no way of printing from here" At this point, we were both at a lack of words with the service we received, I was "unfortunately" not able to catch the guys name. But he was strawberry blonde, skinny, glasses. The date is August 29. read more
