As always, I Love to Book my car rentals from Enterprise; this was my first trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida... as soon as I arrived I called Enterprise for a pick-up from the airport and they stated that "We don't pick-up from the airport" you will need to catch a cab to our location. I was in SHOCK!, so I went ahead picked up a cab to the location. The Service with the staff was very nice until they gave me a car with NO GAS! I was like are you going to put gas on the car and the gentleman stated no, you can take it next door to the gas station, we don't provide gas. I was SO Disappointed ;(... When I went back to return the car rental, I was like "OK Guys I need to be dropped off at the airport" can someone drop me off? And they were kind enough to drop me off with no problem and I dropped off the car with 1/2 tank of GAS. Overall with all the craziness I will return back to this location and Highly recommend it. This place needs to be shut down! I've been waiting hours others have been here 5-6hrs and still no car. They closed at 1 it's now 3! Denzil is doing the best he can. His manager is doing him dirty. I'm glad the 15+ people here waiting haven't lost their cool. We can't blame the guy for the position Enterprise put him in. We'll definitely NEVER use them again when we travel. I just returned my rental after a week of needing transportation to and from work. I read the reviews after I had already picked this location and was nervous that it would be a bad experience. This location is great. Devin one of the employees was extremely helpful during the process! When I was having issues with my insurance they were patient and helped me out as well. My rental car from Hollywood Hills Enterprise at 2090 N State Road 7 Hollywood, FL, US, 33021 on Jan 19th did severe damage to my driveway pavers. Had to take the car back and get another. Made a reservation for 10am pick up. Not only did they not have a car for us. But they had multiple people waiting for vehicles. For the looks of the location it appears they don't have a lot of parking space. However, one would assume if they had reservations they would have vehicles ready for pick up at the reserved time. Was told vehicles were on their way 3+ hours later still no vehicles. One person working in the location was clearly trying to do her best but the lack of availability of vehicles was unacceptable. We also rented from Enterprise from the airport and had exceptional service. In fact the staff asked what else they could do to ensure we left a perfect review. Once we finally were offered a car it was an economy car. We had rented a full size car. They offered us a $7 discount and that we could bring the gas take back on empty. I arrived in Florida on Monday and had a rental car reservation with a competitor (which I will be doing a review ). They were horrible and with that being said I was in dire need of a rental car. I called to make a reservation and the price was a little higher. The representative recommended I go through Costco travel for more savings. I called Enterprise after making my reservation on line requesting a pick up I was told they were short staffed and to use Lyft or Uber and I would be reimbursed. When I got there one person was running the show, Zubaer. Although I had to wait I was extremely grateful to get a car at the last minute and it was larger than what I reserved. True to his word he reimbursed me for utilizing car sharing. See had such a great rapport with his customers as some of them rent cars for weeks at a time. He knew them by name and was very empathetic to each customer. I would have given a five star review but Zee definitely needs help and they need someone to vacuum. read more

Worst customer experience I've ever had. The man who apparently is a branch manager tried to rent me a car covered in bugs. I was assured when I called that there would be a car ready for me and a driver to pick me up within the hour of calling. After waiting more than an hour no driver arrived so when I called I was told my scheduled pick up time was actually later than previously informed to me by the so called manager. Was supposed to pick up a rental today from the Dania Beach Fl location. Went there in person on Saturday and made arrangements to get a car for Tuesday afternoon. We were Guaranteed a car for 4 PM. Called several times during the day on Tuesday and spoke to the rental manager to make sure the car would be ready. Walking out the door the rental manager Catalina calls and tells us there is no car until Wednesday morning. This is totally unacceptable since the car was needed to go to work on Wednesday and we went in person to set this up while our car was in the body shop after being hit. Worst and most bizarre interaction ever.... had an 11am reservation for pick up but my husband called and asked if could pick the reserved car up at 1pm instead. Employee who answered said 'not a problem' . Got there at 1p and dude named Greg was busy handling other guests and said car not on property yet . At that time, I waited patiently and finished the rental process and my card was swiped for $411.23 (not the $211 on reso) After waiting more, I asked him how long before could get car from cleaning area and when pressed he replied prob 15min.. after 15min, I went outside to check on car and no one there He came out to check w me and i questioned reso policies and why bother if have wait and I had to be somewhere. He then told me that he guaranteed I would NOT get the car and refused to give me a refund on spot and said would email it. He then went to walk by me and said ' Im walking by u in a non threatening manner' ‍ i guess asking for specific time frame with an 11am reso is aggressive ... ridic! had my husband pick me up and called corp and 2 supervisors told me regional mgr would call me back and this branch had multiple complaints. This Enterprise has the worst customer service I have ever received. 1. They called us the day before to cancel our reservation that my boyfriends cousin booked for us (an Enterprise employee). 2. The staff at the location told us they still would not have a car for us when we arrived then another customer came in after us and got a car right away. There were at least 3-5 clean car keys hung up in their key box and parked out front. 3. Another customer came in and they argued with them in front of everyone and then proceeded to badmouth them when they left saying they stole their car. 4. Another customer came in after us and they kept telling each other he was a "same day reservation" like it made him less of a paying customer. 5. There was an older couple there with us for over an hour waiting to hear back from their insurance because they would not release the car to the wife when the husband was right there with her. 6. They gave us a car with damage on it and did not perform a walk around. 7. Lastly we were over charged on our bill and we returned the car a day early at that! 8. When waiting for the car we emailed the area manager and still have not heard back either. Employee #E141PN I would rather walk around next time to deal with such horrible service and wait times. Run away! Rented a car and when we returned it, the lady who inspected it said the back door handle was broken. We had used it for 5 days without issues and I used that handle several times minutes before returning it and it was fine. Yet as soon as the lady inspector touched it, it fell apart. We kept our distance from her because of Covid but there is no way that handle was broken when we had the SUV. She already knew how much our insurance would cover and how much the handle could cost. Set reservations for a mini van, when my husband arrived to pick up the vehicle Miguel was very rude and told him there was no mini van there for us. We asked where is it and what to do and he said "I don't know what to tell you, go to the airport location because he was supposed to pick it up but won't be able to get around to it" my husband replied "but our reservation was for this location" the employee refused to help in any way at all and literally sat behind the counter ignoring my husband. I had to call the main line and have them transfer the reservation to the airport which was now gonna be more money at that location. My husband had been dropped off and had to get a ride to the airport because they don't provide pick up, after speaking with the escalation department we were given the proper rates and the airport location was very helpful in making sure we were taken care of quickly. Apparently the employee at this Dania location is so sure the manager Greg won't care he feels he can be rude and behave however he feels. read more

I am a longtime enterprise renter (previously platinum tier) and have always been happy with them.......but must warn everyone to avoid this location at all costs! I recently rented from this location for the second time (previously good experience but staff has changed) for a 3 day period . When I picked up the car I did ot realize the representative "Kenly" kept my drivers license. They never called me to say they had it. They never gave it back to me upon returning the car. They never attempted to mail it to me. upon return home I got cited for driving without my license. I called the dania location and the worker said "we have been holding it for you" whatever that means. It is now 3 weeks later and I have not received it back yet. When I asked them for the tracking number their reply was "we decided to send it regular mail so you will have to just take our word we mailed it back to you". They promised to have the district manager call me......The call never came. They promised me they would have "kenly" call me as soon as he got to work yesterday. ......that call never came. This whole matter stinks and I just got off the phone with the Broward police dept. At their urging I will be filing an official stolen license report against this location tomorrow morning.....AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

I am so disappointed in enterprise in Dania Beach. I have rented with them several times and always very happy. My car broke down and I need a car to go back and forth to work until the repair is done. I reserved a car online and then called later on the confirm and have them pick me up. I was told they did not have any cars but would have them soon and would call me. This was at 12:00 PM, noon time, it is now 3:30, no call, and when I am calling them they just keep putting me on hold and never picking up. I guess the place is going under but have some courtesy for a loyal patron and say, sorry we can not accomodate you. I need a car for work. I could cry, so disappointed. read more

Scam alert So, I came into the office on a thursday and said that I needed to rent a car until sunday. The person at the counter gave me a price and said that I would have to drop the car off at the airport as the office would be closed on sunday. I was not too pleased that there was a big extra drop off fee included in that option, so I figured it would be better to just drop the car off on saturday, but I was told they would not charge me the extra fee. Obviously, I said thank you very much, signed the contract and dropped the car off as agreed on sunday at the airport. Two weeks later I was charged 86$ more than the price stated in the contract and contacted the office. What I had failed to realize was that the person at the counter had put the date for saturday and not sunday on the contract (there was no way he could have not known that the agreement was until sunday considering he removed the drop off fee for airport drop off). For that reason I was charged for a day extra on top of the price given. When they told me this, I obviously filled them in on the details, but they chose to completely ignore this which they are of course entitled to legally as they can just refer to the contract. However, I would think that many people renting a car for multiple days assume that the date is correct, sign and drive off. As stated, legally it is my own fault for not double checking the date on the contract, but the fact that they seem to absolutely not care or even apologize for giving misleading information would suggest that this an intentional scam. It is probably a very profitable one as this provides a lot of extra money if only 10-20 % fall into this trap. Also, it is very easy to deal with the people who do notice this before signing with a "oh, I am sorry sir, I did not see that - let me just change that for you". Anyway, this is the first time ever I have taken the time to write a negative review, but I think people should know, so they make sure to double check their contract if they choose to rent a car from this office. read more

I wish I could have given this place no stars, but had to give it a star to write this review. My mother had the worst experience at this Enterprise. After they promised her a refund of the deposit for the rental car, she still never received it. So after a week of waiting she went back to the location asking for an explanation to which Greg Shaw (taller gentleman) gave her attitude and refused to help. He got aggravated with her and threatened to call the cops. This place has terrible customer service. I booked a car the night before and got a reservation confirmed. The next morning I go to Enterprise, and they tell me they don't have any cars available. I asked them why they would confirm my reservation if they didn't have any availability when all of the other rental companies just denied my request if they didn't' have anything. I needed to get somewhere urgently and thought I could rely on the service but I was mistaken. They left me completely hanging and I had no way of getting to my destination. The attendants acted like they didn't care whatsoever. I was shocked at the lack of empathy of customer service that was available to me. They didn't give me any other options just said sorry this is what we do. They admitted to booking customers and then letting them show up to then tell them that they didn't even have a car available for them. They admitted that they do this all the time and said it's just how the system works. They could have let me know when I booked by sending me an email saying that it didn't confirm that I had a car only a reservation to be put on a waiting list. I had no idea that when I turned up there might not be a car for me. I feel bad for people who arrive from a different country only to find out that the reservation isn't even guaranteed. If you booked a hotel you would expect that when you turned up a room would be available. A hotel wouldn't get away with this kind of service why should a car rental company get away with it? This is completely shocking to me, I'm not sure if other car rental companies do this as well but I do know that this is not acceptable. read more
