I note some other reviewers apparently had some issues, but maybe that was the past before the current team/management was at the helm (or maybe competitor companies are doing some of those reviews - jk lol!). Don't use this company!, completely unreliable!!!! Rented a mini van specifically for a trip with grandchildren 3 weeks before trip. Received a call 6 hours before pick up time, sorry we don't have any mini vans or larger SUV, we overbooked and have 5 other people who won't get a mini vans either.... employee who called was very indifferent and pretty much oh well!! Do not rent from Marco Island Enterprise. They can take your reservation, but they don't know how to keep a reservation. You will show up and there will not be a car. No explanation. They will say, No cars. Not even Sorry no cars. A call saying they are out of cars would have been helpful. I've called their costumer service there times. They take your complaint information and say a regional representative will call you back. No they won't. Hopefully this post will save you from making a mistake and renting from the Marco Island location. read more

What is the point of having a car reservation if they don't reserve a car? I showed up with a reservation and they had no cars. Their solution was "we should get cars back in an hour," which I couldn't wait for. Isn't your one job as a car rental place to have cars on hand? Why are you taking reservations if you are not HOLDING reservations? This was my second time using this location, and the first experience was poor, arduous, and cumbersome. Avoid. read more

Always great experience with Enterprise on Marco Island. Great staff. Very professional.

The service was great, but I chose and paid for a Chevrolet Tahoe and received an Infinity QX80. There was already something similar in the parking lot but was given an Infinity with almost no gas. The vehicle was difficult to drive and in the back of the car, it had a bad smell. The GPS was quite confusing as well. read more

The customer service was horrendous. The lady was rude and unhelpful. We have a rental with service lights on and they offered zero support. She basically stated there is nothing she can do and it wasn't her problem. I am shocked by the level of unprofessionalism exhibited by this branch. I have used Enterprise for numerous occasions and have never witnessed such disregard for customers. The lady with long dark hair was exceptionally rude and unkind. So happy to be spending my last day of vacation making phone calls about a car that Enterprise should be making. read more

These guys here at enterprise are a class act. I've never been treated so amazing while renting a vehicle from any other company. They really took care of me. The customer service was great. Because it's on Marco island, its more expensive than picking a car up from Naples, but I didn't feel like making the drive-- so he quoted me a price which was actually cheaper than hotwire.com-- It was $59 for an economy or compact (I'm not sure)... when I explained that I was quotes like $30 a day for naples, he told me he would take the price down to $49. I appreciated that. When I was there, he offered me a free upgrade to an SUV, that I respectfully declined due to gas prices. The guy took me out to look at the car (we ended up getting a Ford Focus) explained things to me, and sent me on my way. It was also super easy returning the car. Horrible customer service. Booked a luxury car and received a Centra. I was told "it's not my fault the booking had an error". With the way he handled the customer service and the people waiting in the lobby it seemed like this is a regular occurrence. read more

Inconvenient, a hassle and a complete lack of customer service. I returned my Enterprise Rent-a-Car on 7 October 2020, during their normal hours of operation, only to find their office closed. A sign posted outside said something like, "Wait here." I dropped the keys to the vehicle in their "lock box." The following day, I received the bill in my email to find Enterprise charged me for an extra day. To date, they have offered no help in correcting their error. I'll never use their lock box again, but it's difficult when dealing with an office frequently closed during their stated hours of operation. Caveat emptor. read more

Would never use this location. The manager Jose will overcharge you no matter what. We dropped off the Car early one time and got overcharged. Then we returned on time right after hurricane Irma. And he told us he'd take a couple days off our week rental because the car was not cleaned and had a major pull to the right. Driving it 3000 miles was not fun but then the next day we find out he overcharged us again. Has to be a scam they pull on old people on the island. Would avoid this location. read more

Reserved a vehicle for just 1 day with a 3PM pick up. Was late from a business meeting, called about 6 but they were already closed. Arrived the next morning at 8:20AM and no car. In fact they didn't have any cars. Was told they didn't have my phone number to call me (which is a lie since it's in their computer) and they indicated it would be about noon before they would have one (lie #2 as the person in front of me was told it would be 2PM before they had a car). Called Hertz on Marco and they had a car for me. Very disappointed in the handling of this. Completed a survey upon my return home and never heard from anyone. Had a reservation for a car. Showed up at 12:15 on a Saturday, told they were already closed and that they had NO cars. No phone call to inform me they were closing at 1200. The person at the desk was rude and said they didn't have any cars anyway and he was in a rush to get home. If you're in Marco Island, spend the extra money and Uber to Hertz in Naples. read more

I have told all my friends who rent cars all over...they will use Enterprise from now on. It will be hard to beat the service of Marco Island office, however. Beware of returning a car to this location. Rented a car from Miami international rental center inside a dark parking garage. Drove the car 130 miles using it 3 hours. When I returned it to Marco Island Enterprise the Manager Evan told me the car had damage on the trunk and under the passenger quarter panel. I laughed at first thinking he was joking but quickly got angry when I realized he was serious. He then told me if I didn't like it I could return it to another location and try to slip it by them. This didn't seem to be the honest thing to do so I completed the return process at the Marco Enterprise location. I left my cell phone at home so I wanted to have a record of the damage within 30 min the car was already sent to the repair shop right behind this location. "Boy Evan really works fast". The damage was so small that it would not have been noticed by another renter, so why the hurry to get this car into your repair shop behind your place of business? Use Hertz and avoid the hassle. read more

The worst enterprise location, by far! I read the other reviews and seriously laughed. These are the most blatantly fake reviews I have ever seen. I love enterprise as a company in general. They have always taken good care of me. However the Marco Island location is terribly mismanaged and has the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. Check your receipts!! Do NOT trust them. My son made a reservation and received a confirmation to rent a car to visit his father on his birthday. When he called for pickup to get the car he was advised there was no car available despite his reservation. The whole staff at this location were rude to the point of hanging up several times. The female agent lied saying the manager was not there when he had seconds before hung up on us. Everyone's attitude was filled with platitudes and unconcern about the situation. No one called to advise there would be any problem getting a vehicle so we could try to make other plans. When asked for the number to corporate offices the manager and female staff advised it was not there responsibility to get the number I could Google it. When I requested the female agent's name and that of the manger so I could make a complaint I was hung up on. I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone. Anyone who uses them is liable to be left high and dry. read more

Have rented from this enterprise office several times. The customer service has always been very good to outstanding. Jose the manager has been a delight to deal with and so has his staff and particularly his driver. I am retired and come to marco a half dozen times a year and will always rent from this enterprise office. We have never been overcharged and have appreciated the way Jose always tries to accommodate our preferences even if they change mid rental. Trying to get out of Marco just before Irma, Jose helped us change plans, dates and drop off locations all with no charge for his extra work. This is the best I've been treated by a rental company in a long time. I highly recommend renting from this place. read more
