The manager on duty Deja is extremely rude and condescending. She refused to give me my confirmed / booked car and then attempted to upscale me a more expensive vehicle. When I expressed that I was frustrated that she was upselling me despite a confirmed reservation she pivoted to telling me she would outright not rent me any car. I'll add that I was the only customer out of 5 or so people that she would not engage with and refused to serve and I was also the only customer of color. Discriminatory practices. When I expressed my disappointment to the manager that the car was dirty inside and out the manager offered to clean it. When I explained I had to leave because I had a medical appointment she continued pushing at me about cleaning it. I declined because of my need to leave. She started to berate me and threatened to take me back to the car repair shop and not rent to me. I asked her to stop several times but she continued to go at me. Finally she handed me the keys and walked away. When I asked her name she would not give it to me. Needless to say I was shaken by this poor experience. read more

Needed a rental car while mine was being repaired. Called this Enterprise location since it was close to the repair shop. I called and we made the initial agreement for a car to rent over the phone. Enterprise offers the option of picking up the customer and taking them to their office to complete the transaction. Their employee was at the repair shop ready to pick me up within a few minutes. Found the employee to be very polite. She explained the rental program and my options in a professional manner. The car I rented was clean and operated well. I like this @Enterprise location the most out of the ones I have been to #Raleigh. The rental agents here are nice. Since it is a tiny location, and they don't have that many cars to choose from, you might get a free upgrade. But a downside about this location being so tiny is, they don't have many cars to choose from, so you might have to wait a while for them to go get more cars because they don't have any available to rent to you. Also, if you do the advanced reservation rental thing where they send you an email, and then you fill out all of the paperwork, specify the car you want, pickup time, and location, they don't look at it. Enterprise at the airport was way more of a pleasant service experience than Hertz so I plan to use them again. However, the first car they gave me smelled like smoke so I asked for a different car. They gave me the next one that pulled up but it too smelled like smoke inside. I'm using the car for 10 days and every time I get in it grosses me out. It was odd too because they inspected the first car but not the second. If they can clean up their cars more, I'd give them more stars. read more

Insurance company selected this location which our car was being serviced. Picked up on Sunda, teleworkEd during the week but when we went to drive it on Friday for a family outing - HECK NO . We called that morning and spoke with Kyle Pendleton (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kye-pendleton-b6774a88) who is proficient in double speak and deflectiby from the genuine concern at hand. Kye attempted to infer that we caused the odor, we should have caught it during the walk through, there was nothing he could do, failed to provide alternatives and when we inquire to speak to a director he informed us there was no one over him. During the walkthrough the car had the overwhelming floral fragrances which dissipated as temperatures increased throughout the week. When we asked why would he rent cars that knowing have this problem to place your customers jobs at risk (silence). We suggested exchanging the car at the airport (30 miles away) he said sure "if that's what you want to do". Why did he never offer that, then to arrive and he NEVER put in the authorization. His ineptitude, lack of concern of health, arrogance, greatly inconvenienced my entire family this week. Stay away from this location as the RDU staff who previously worked there stated that he's always passive aggressive to staff and he knows the cars smell like that and keeps putting them back out to customers as it's their problem when they drive off the lot. Rented an Escape today due to work being done to my car. I first called them to alert them to pick me up as planned the previous day; the phone call went to their fax machine. So, I walked to their office, which luckily, was less than a mile away. Once I arrived, I had to wait 30 minutes to get my rental. The wait was, as I was told, was due to the team cleaning the car. Well, it was wet, but still dirty and had soap still along the edges of the rear hatch, wheel wells and wiper. The interior was very soiled.....as the pic (that I hope uploads) represents. I have had to use this location twice. Both were bad experiences. There is no communication in this office. I was supposed to pick up a car today because my car is in the shop for an accident that wasn't my fault. I made a reservation. Not once was I told that I had to be there within the hour. Not once. I had to get a ride because obviously I don't have a car. When I arrived they had rented my car and told me I couldn't get one until Monday. If they had told me I would have ubered there instead of waiting for a ride. I never got a call or email to check if I was coming. The last time I rented I got a rude message that they didn't know where the car was when I had literally talked to two other employees in the same building not an hour before. I had a very good experience with enterprise. My car was totaled in an accident a few weeks ago so my insurance company set me up with a rental from Enterprise. They sent an employee to pick me up to bring me to their store. The rental car, a 2014 Chevy Malibu was in great shape, and the return process was easy. I did have trouble getting them on the phone, and was put on hold a lot. But overall I had a positive experience. read more

Ashley assisted me with getting a rental car while my car was being repaired after an auto accident. Ashley quickly got me set up with the car through my insurance company. Ashley was Expedia, professional, and pleasant. She got me in and out quickly. The car I was renting had not been prepped yet. She sent someone to prep it while she set up the rental in the system. Ashley made the rental experience pleasant. I returned the car to McDowell Street enterprise. Chris was awesome. Chris was extremely helpful. He was very pleasant and obviously knew how to handle any situation. Chris drove me to the repair shop to get my own car after I dropped the rental.
