I don't write reviews like this lightly...I was a frequent Enterprise customer in Annapolis, MD for years and never had a single problem (in fact this experience makes me so grateful for the amazing Enterprise teams in Annapolis MD). This location is a completely different experience. Three days ago I returned a rental and called the branch about 30 minutes later to report I had accidentally left a brand new garage door opener clipped to the visor. Branch Manager Kelsey Walsh confirmed she would pull it from the vehicle and hold it for me. No problem, she said. Today my family, displaced from our home due to a flooding emergency, Ubered to this location ($49) to pick up our reservation. When I asked about my garage door opener, Walsh told me she had accidentally given it to another customer. Then told me it was my fault for leaving it in the car. Enterprise has my home address on file. An unknown person now has a garage door opener to my house. That is a security liability. She then told me my reservation had been canceled. Staff claimed they called and left a voicemail at 11AM, the exact time of my reservation, not before it. I checked my phone on the spot. No missed call. No voicemail. No email. Nothing. My full call log for the day has been screenshot and saved. Our homebuilder's corporate team then made a second reservation on my behalf due to our displacement. Confirmation number 2095916825. Written confirmation received at 5:02PM. I arrived at 5:15PM and showed Walsh the confirmation on my phone. The moment she saw it was me, she said the vehicle was no longer available. This is blatant retaliation, which is illegal. Two confirmed reservations. Same branch. Same day. Both denied. $126 in documented out of pocket costs. Missed our destination. Kid and dog sitting outside with our bags. Florida Attorney General complaint filed. BBB complaint filed. Formal written notice sent to Walsh directly and franchise owner Mohammed Abushbah. read more

WARNING: Make sure to take a close up video of the car during your initial walk around if you end up renting from this Enterprise! I unfortunately did not take a video, and they are claiming that I caused damage to the rental car's front grill. I did not get into any accident and only parked in a parking garage at work or home driveway, so I did not cause this crack. From the pictures, you can see how this is not something that would be visible during the car walk around. Even when taking a picture inches away from the damage, you have to zoom in to see the crack. I honestly feel like I am being scammed by Enterprise. read more

I would have preferred to have received a vehicle similar to my full size truck instead of a crossover type suv that really shouldn't even be called an suv but that was the only option. Communication hasn't always been great and there are inconsistencies from staff member to staff member. However, they were able to get me into a vehicle on short notice. Service could be much better. When you walk in (6 times in 4 weeks) they generally seem uninterested in helping you. After a minute they'll perk up, be polite and customer oriented. The first vehicle they said the radio didn't work.... The real story-the radio/navigation/screen shut down every 5 minutes The second vehicle reeked of nastiness, and needed an alignment sooooo bad, it shook so hard I had a deep tissue massage in minutes! The third vehicle was great. Maybe they're overworked/overwhelmed Maybe they need a break Maybe a bit more training on customer service- first impressions I can only imagine what they deal with day in and day out, 3 stars is because after a bit they are good! I have used Enterprise many times, in multiple States, and I must say I am very disappointed in the customer service from this store. I booked a passenger van for 1 day and they called me the day of saying that I would need to pay for 3 days (since they are closed on Sunday and because Monday was a holiday). I had no choice, but to accept the punishment. You would think they would have a late night drop box or something, but instead they just charge you for 3 full days even though I only used the van for a couple hours. Then to rub salt in the wound they charged me a 2hr late fee at $50.00 per hour because it "wasn't brought back in time". I truly wanted to bring it back after 6-8 hrs of use, but they forced me to reserve it until Monday and then charge late fees on top. The man I was speaking with was very unwilling to work with me. I have requested to speak with someone in management multiple times and have not heard back. I can't say I will never use Enterprise again because that might be a stretch, but I can promise I will never rent from this store again. In the past 4 years I have probably rented 10-15 vehicles from this store and this is how they treat their customers. Extremely disappointed. I even filled the tank up to 5/8 because that is what they gave it to me at and they charged me an extra $13.00 in fuel. read more

I was told the call center where I made the reservation will always rent you a car because "they" have no idea what we have available. Total BS. I wish I would have read the reviews before visiting this location. Otherwise, I would have saved my time. I was already having a bad day because my vehicle broke down and I had to Uber from the auto shop to Enterprise after making reservations for a pickup. The gentleman explained over the phone it would be a 300-dollar deposit and to bring a valid license. I brought everything, however, the district manager apparently wouldn't allow me to rent because she couldn't verify my address... My license states my address, I have a valid payment method. I just rented from the Enterprise in Palm Coast...so they basically refused service to me... a horrible location and poor communication regarding reservations and what to expect prior to arriving at the location. read more

These people don't know how a legitimate business. They were suppose to charge my credit card everyday, so that my bill would always be paid while I was using their car rental services,but they never did,the manager Juan said my card was declined when that's an outright lie, it was there business ethic's and management of the people who run people's credit card so they get paid and customers don't have isdue's with their rentals. I have a business and I rented a car for a month, because I travel in my business. I called and reached out to Juan and it's always about coming back in to re-sign the agreement this is not good for people traveling on vacation and want to go to other Florida towns or people who travel for business. People can't come back every 3days to resign contract's. Your company has no way to pay online, or sign this contract online either, which is horrible for professional's and vacationer's. You don't have secretaries to answer phone's,; customer's time is precious too.I spoke to a man by the name of Nestor and They were not there for me to return the car that day, I expressed to them I would be a little late,but their worker's don't care so when I called corporate, Nestor said to keep the car until you speak to them , but then the next day Juan in management called the sheriff's department and reported a lie saying I stole the car, and I learned about this when an investigator called me from the sheriff's department in St.Augustine Florida. I will never deal with this horrible company again and I will tell all my business people never to come to this location and never to use Enterprise rental at the outlet mall Blvd in St Augustine FL. You should be ashamed of yourself to go that low of calling the sheriff's office without speaking to me first I'am not a thief and I will be having a lawyer to look into this false accusation! read more

This was the worst rental experience! I got a car that had extensive stains on both front seats, dents, the seat back wouldn't move and almost no gasoline. I had to take it because it the only one. Their customer service is awful. So many options of car rental agencies. No need to use this one. read more

I'm not really sure how it's taken me this long to review this particular Enterprise location. As someone who travels constantly for work, this is my version of Cheers: where everybody knows my name. I've always had service above and beyond what's expected of your average car rental facility, and of the thirty or so vehicles they've lent me, only one had any sort of issue (and it wasn't a trip-ruiner; normal car stuff). They make the check in and payment process super simple and are always friendly conversationalists as they walk you through everything. They bring the car right to the front so you can simply drive off, and although they don't have their own parking on site, they are happy to drive you to and from your own car before and after the rental takes place. I even had one drop me off at my house in a torrential downpour to make sure I got home dry and safe. In sum, this crew takes care of you and smile the whole way through. Best Enterprise location I've ever been to (and I've been to dozens). read more

I would give zero stars if i could! I have rented from this location 80+ times in the last 16 months. There management staff changed over about 4 months ago. I noticed a significant drop off in customer satisfaction and service. I did however continue to use them. Today I found out why!!!!! Their manager, Tyler Schulte, is easily the rudest person i have ever encountered in the service industry. I returned my vehicle today and he couldn't set up the direct bill. He had all the billing information. I told him i had a 130 call and i needed to leave but to call me if he needed anything. That's were it went downhill. He said "your not leaving till this bill is paid!". I asked him was he planning on tackling me? He then proceeded to be more rude. I told him i didn't appreciate his attitude. He then got more aggressive towards me and told me he wasn't going to ever rent a car to me again. I told him that was fine cause i had not planned to. He said, and i quote, "your just one person!!!!, doesn't matter". WHAT? seriously? He then told me to leave the property. Keep in mind they were supposed to give me a ride home. Like their commercials say. Then with an extremely sarcastic tone told me thank you for all my previous business. I then took an Uber home. Isaac, branch manager was super helpful with my return, even though I didn't rent from this branch. Alicia gave me a ride home, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. I've rented cars here before and I always do so reluctantly because they run this place so short staffed you should just prepare for a lengthy, unsatisfying experience. I travel on business weekly and am used to service like National Emerald Isle and Hertz Gold, this place acts like they never heard of you even with a corporate membership code and rate program. By the way, National is owned by the same company as Enterprise but the service levels are so different. So I made a reservation, called later in the day for a pickup, which arrived 45 minutes later. They gave me a car that didn't work and said I would have to wait for another car oil change. This is between the lone representative talking to another customer, taking 10 minute mindless phone calls. I found the whole experience ridiculous. I hate renting there and I won't go back despite my company having a rate agreement with Enterprise. They just are not staffed to handle business in a reasonable manner. read more

WORST LOCATION. Horrible customer service. Rude staff, lazy staff, no communication skills. My family and friends will never get a good review about enterprise. Not only will they be told not to rent from enterprise but they will be told about the horrible customer service that customers receive. If you are looking for a good place to rent a car go to HERTZ. If you are traveling in the area the staff will treat you like shit. A worker at this location named jayleine was extremely unprofessional, rude, and lacked proper communication skills. When me and my fiancé arrived at this location this worker was extremely rude and spoke to us unprofessionally. This location screwed our whole vacation over. We were going to rent a car from enterprise at the Jacksonville airport, however, my fiancé's card was not swiping because his card only works with the chip reader. However, we stayed calm and collected and called this location. We made a reservation to pick up a car near where we were staying for 5 o clock in the evening. When we arrived this worker named jaeline refused to communicate properly with us with why we were on the DNR list (do not rent to). We were confused as to why we were put on this list and this worker in particular was so nasty to us. We asked politely why we were unable to rent a car and this coworker told us she didn't have to tell us anything. She told us in a nasty way she wouldn't rent to us. Extremely unprofessional. The reviews will continue and I will continue to complain until a resolution is met. But this company and this location is a big joke because they won't work with you at all. Corporate isn't even helpful. Horrible experience and horrible staff. Hope you guys can find better staff otherwise you are going to find yourself losing a lot of customers in the future. read more

If there was a rating for less than 1 star I would choose that. This particular location is too quick to rent the car and forgets to dot the i's and cross the t's. While it is a convenience location, each experience my family has had with this location has been problematic. Additionally, if something goes wrong with the vehicle while you have it (mechanical, etc.) the customer support and roadside assistance is absolutely horrific. You are basically stranded until they get someone to come help you no matter where you are or what time of the day or night it is. It doesn't seem like for such a large network that they have relationships with tow trucks, etc. to service the nation in a timely fashion. Might be best to choose a more reliable and customer friendly company. read more

I am writing this review because, although I have always gotten excellent service at this venue, today I got exceptional service. I have been renting cars here, for business purposes, 3 days a month for the past 6 months. After getting such wonderful service, I went to Yelp to write a review and was somewhat surprised when I read multiple negative reviews. I started reading them and found most of the issues revolved around how Enterprise handles out of town debit cards. I went to the website and although it was not up front and obvious, debit cards are addressed; the customer just has to ask about it. As far as I can tell, this is a company-wide policy and not specific to this particular Enterprise. If I were Corporate and read these reviews, I would go out of my way to put that information in a more prominent place. (to Andrea who said she doesn't have a credit card because she lives debt-free, I live debt-free, as well but I have credit cards to establish credit and because that is the way of the world).That being said, I really want to let people know how helpful, attentive and polite the folks at Enterprise on Outlet Mall Blvd. are. They open at 7:30 am and I am usually there before that...they are too. I walked in at 7:20 this morning and they were already up and running. They had me out of there before they were even supposed to open their doors. I always seem to deal with Tyler; he is quick to respond to my needs, gets me into a good vehicle and does it in no time. I don't usually need to be picked up and brought there but I usually get a ride back home. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a ride home. I'm writing this review in response to the poor customer service I received from a management trainee at the outlet mall location. We had traveled from Maryland to St. Augustine and needed to trade our vehicle for another. After ten minutes with Ms Colborne on the phone arranging the exchange, we somehow were disconnected, and I waited patiently for 2-3 minutes for a call back (I had previously given Ms Colborne my contact number). When no return call came, I called back to office, held for another 4 minutes. When she finally answered she said "Sorry, another call came in after you were disconnected". Obviously, this is unacceptable. Ms. Colborne's card lists her as a "Management Trainee". I hope her training includes some common sense customer service. read more
