I reserved a 7-passenger vehicle for Easter for my family and I to driver to North Carolina. This reservation was made almost a month before the pickup date. The day of pickup, I received call an hour before my pickup time, and was asked if my pickup time was flexible, I stated no. I was informed the vehicle I reserved was not returned but they are working on getting me a vehicle. I received another call stating they found a vehicle, but it has to be picked up, and it would delay my pickup by an hour. My husband and daughter went to pick up the vehicle an hour after the pickup time, and they were told they were still waiting on the vehicle to get to the location. I called about thirty minutes later and was told to give them about thirty more minutes because the person picking up the vehicle has to make another stop. Thirty minutes went by, and my husband and daughter are still waiting in the parking lot. I received a call stating I will not be able to get the vehicle they picked up because the service light came on as they were driving back to the pickup location. I asked the CSR what I can do because we are going out of state, and I need the vehicle that can fit my family. She stated I'm not for sure because we do not have any vehicles at this time. I immediately asked who I could speak with because this was unacceptable. She gave me a number to make my complaint and upon calling the acceleration team, I was informed that they would find me a vehicle just give them time. No one returned my call; I ended up contacting Enterprise about ten times looking for a car. They said they have given my name and number to the District Manager to return my call, as of today 06/30/25, I still have not spoken to the Manger. My family and I ended up getting a vehicle from the Metro airport and driving my car so we all could make the trip. We ended up checking into our hotel around 4 am in the morning, because I was waiting on them to provided me a car. I have so much more I could say, but I've already said a lot. I have renting vehicles from Enterprise several times, but after that experience, I will never rent a car from them again. Service on MI avenue in Wayne, MI did a great job in getting the car to me, in making sure that things went well when the rental period went longer than expected, and made for an easy return when my car had been repaired. They are amazing. I had my initial reservation with Ypsilanti enterprise and they totally flaked on me. No pick up, no call back and I was on hold for 45 minutes. Mike at this enterprise called me five minutes after my reservation was put in by my insurance company. He arrange for a pick up right away and was gave great customer service. I will recommend them to anyone. This is a very stressful time in my life and they helped make it easier and for that I am grateful. Everyone there was amazing. my mother in law called in a emergency to get a rental car . we are about 1 hour and 30 min away from our home I let them know that my minor child was with me and I need help right away if they can. they started to argue with my husband then told us that we were rude and they were not before they ended the phone call they said "I'm not going to help you and your child because you guys are being rude." After this happen I spoke to the manager and he was okay with us sitting on the side of the road all night with our child. 0 STARS!!!! read more

So disappointed. We planned to pay for a vehicle rental for our adult son who was visiting from out of state. When we went to pick it up they would not allow us to just pay for the car. They made us pay for an extra driver even though my son was the sole driver. When I held the car online the price was about $65 a day, we ended up paying $100 a day (not including the extra driver charge)! Two days into the rental period, my son was ready to leave for an appointment and found the car had a flat tire. The rental car insurance that we paid for covered the tire but he missed his appointment and all his plans for the day had to change because of having to take care of the issue. We turned in the car after the week, and the $533 we were expecting to pay (before the added insurance) ended up being $1,093! I talked to someone at Enterprise and was told they would try to make an adjustment, but no such luck. The people at this location were courteous enough but the cost of this rental was outrageous and I will likely NOT be using this company again! read more

Beware, they run the old scam of giving you a car that they've put a few dings and scrapes on, and then try to send you an invoice for the typical $500ish for repairs. Then do the process over for the next customer. read more

My car was rear ended and in the shop over a month I forgot the 2 gentleman's Names but was very friendly and polite and worked with me knowing I worked close to their closing hours I had to extend my rental every week for about 5 weeks. They knew I was coming just about 5 to 10 minutes before they closed without any complaints. I highly recommended them. read more

It is possible to give no stars? They called us WHILE WE WERE IN THE AIR to cancel our confirmed reservation. The manager chuckled and did nothing to help us, saying 'what do you think I can do?' In the words of Jerry Seinfeld, you have to "hold the reservation." Never again. read more

As another reviewer mentioned previously, these scammers will give u a damaged car and charge YOU for it when you return it, even though you had nothing to do with the damage. I had scratches on the passenger side of the car which were impossible to notice in bright sunlight when I picked up the car. After I returned it, only a week later, these scammers charged me over $400 for just one small scratch! Avoid these scammers at all costs. It is not worth the slightly lower rental price shown online to go through this headache. read more

I placed an order for a large SUV for a family trip. I arrived on time for my appointment. While going over the car with the store manager we all noticed that this vehicle wasn't road ready to the standards of typical Enterprise rentals. Stains on carpet from previous user. Floor mats not on floor but left in back end with cleaning cloths. Windshield chips, hood dents, cigarette burns throughout interior rear lift gate corner damage. The manager was embarrassed and after taking inventory of his stock called another location and had me trade my rental for a different newer large SUV. No problem, thank you! By the time I got there3 miles away, it started raining. Not able to get a good look at potential chargeable flaws as rain was covering and making it hard to discover. I ended up signing for it anyway to then discover the vehicle needed an oil change and hadn't had time to be cleaned before they have it to me. It ran well despite need for oil. Stopped at an Enterprise along our route who checked on maintenance record and said we were good. Another trip in June we will be going back for this trip as well. read more

All I wanted was a car. I get transferred to the reservation center that is all foreign voices that I cannot understand. I had to re-call and try again several times to attempt a person that could understand me and it never worked. I needed a pick up and could not get it done. I was transferred to different locations to find a driver only to be told I have to be serviced by the location closest to me. I could not get a human on the phone at the location nearest me. The menu options kept transferring me back to reservations which could not complete an order and then locations that could not come get me. I had to have a friend order me a lyft to the Enterprise location to order a car in person. I hate how hard that was and will never recommend this company as long as I live. It was not the Michigan ave location that was the problem, it is the way they operate! This was over the Thanksgiving holiday so it was busy and I couldn't get a car anywhere else. I wanted to rent a car from someone else. They have no affordable cars available. Nothing under fifty bucks. Where are the cars that are older and on offer for 20$ a day? The people are good when you can reach one. This company is trying to make it harder. read more

I had a great experience with the Ann Arbor site. Exact opposite at Wayne site. I have never written an unfavorable review, before now. Arranged rental 6 days ahead. Confirmed the day before I needed to pick up the car for employment training, in early morning (insufficient time to be picked up morning of). Was asked to call day of pick up at around 5:00 p.m. Started calling at 4:59. Called 5 times, being on hold at least 10 to 20 mins each time. I know their ads better than they do! Last time I hung up and redialed, at 6:12, office was closed. No one called and no one showed to pick me up. How does one leave people on hold and go home? Extremely poor customer service at this location. I left a very unhappy voice mail, which no one returned. read more

Once again No cars were there to rent. I give up on the enterprise car rental on Michigan Ave in Wayne, Mi I had to wait for 4 hrs, Justin, and the other guy I think his name is Jason that works with him is no help at all very rude bad service I book a full-size car they tried to give me a humpback car looking like a smart car for the full-size price. The one on Ford Rd in Garden city is better went in and ten minutes later I'm riding out in a better car than what I was paying for at the one on Michigan in Wayne. Justin tried to say since my reservation was the same day I had to settle for bullshyt but the one on Ford Rd with no reservations got me a better rental go figure. So my middle fingers go up for Justin and the other guy that work with him to remind you I'm the customer, not your worker. so please learn how to deal with paying customers. read more

BEWARE! This company is duplicitous and deceitful. Claiming the "bumper is misaligned". I was the only driver of this car and I did not bump into anything. During the check out and check in, I was looking for dents and scratches, not a "misaligned bumper". I believe the so-called damage was there when I took the car and of course it was not noted before. I had to pay $500 for a nonexistant repair and then the assistant manger had the audacity to also charge my entire rental bill with my deposit for a charge of $1267.74 without even telling me. The rental was to be covered by my insurance. She had no right doing that without my permission. I agree with your other reviewers that this is a place to avoid. My insurance company sent me there after a car accident. When I was asked if I wanted rental coverage on this vehicle, I said I would use my own. Then she had me initial a space and low and behold 13 days later I was charged for their insurance coverage at $22/day. They charged my card without even letting me know how much the bill would be. When I called, I was told too bad since my initials were by the spot for their insurance. Do not go to this location. read more
