I have been living here for about 3 weeks now and I will say my stay here has been great. The location is perfect, about a 7 min drive from the Air Force base and a 2 min drive to Walmart. I live in a studio, and since it is just me it's just enough space for less than $500 a month. Now you do get used to some things, like the noises of the cars on the road and lack of shelf space, but it's a nice place for a single guy like me to call home. Pool is nice and laundry room is decent. Free parking and the area is well maintained. For a city like Altus, this is living the high life. read more

Review Management is the worst. During these crazy times, I understand that apartments rent as fast as they become available. However, I put my application in 8 months before the apartment was needed. They didn't bother telling me that it is on a first come first serve basis. That you will not be put on a list or called when one comes available. You have to call and check in and hope that your timing is perfect. I called on a Monday and she had one available but could not show it to me until Tuesday. Made an appt for Tuesday. When I showed for the appt she had already rented it out that morning. I was disappointed but knew that I needed an apartment. I waited almost 2 weeks and called and turned out they had one available. Went the next day did a walk through and the apartment smelled awful. Still needed a place to live, so I accepted. Wrote a $400 deposit check and had the lights turned on in my name. In the mean time one of her employees mentioned that the apartment had cats and more than likely that is where the smell was coming from. Went to sign the lease and asked her about the smell and if another apartment came available if I could transfer since I wouldn't be actually moving in for a month or so. She said no to the transfer and told me to wait. That she will talk with the cleaning staff about getting the smell out and let me know the next day. Went the next day to sign the lease and ask about the smell. She said she slept on it and that it wasn't a good fit. I didn't actually know what she meant, because I was like no I actually still need the apartment. She then said I wasn't a good fit and that our business was done. I then asked for her manager which is Ward construction in OKC. Once I asked her for that info. She got irate and starting yelling at my husband and I and threatened to call my employer for what I don't know. But it was just a bad situation. I did call Ward construction and spoke with Mrs. Amanda Ward who was very professional but backed her employee as I thought she would. Either way I now see it as a blessing. I stayed here for my TDY. I was overall very pleased with the apartment I stayed in. It was a two bed, two bath apartment fully furnished all to myself. Before I get into the apartments, I just want to say the staff is what makes this place so great. They will try to accommodate any of your needs. Becky at the front desk is great. If you want something specific, she will work with you to make your stay even more comfortable. Example, I wanted a desk to study at and they bought a brand new one for my room. Their maintenance staff is also on top of their stuff. My only complaint is the Internet they provide can be slow at times, but I was under the impression they were replacing it. The apartments are in great shape. Everything I would expect with older units that have been recently remodeled. Newish carpet, new bathroom tile and descent appliances. Besides the apartment, covered parking was also thrown in for free. Overall my review for a fully furnished TDY apartment is that you really cannot go wrong here. A great place to live about 3 or 4 minutes from the front gate of the base, a minute from Walmart and a couple minutes from restaurants. It was a good 5 months, thank you. read more

Renters Beware! I actually enjoyed staying here right up until the day before move out. I payed my steadily increasing rent on time for two years and thus believed I was on good terms of mutual respect with the apartment management. I would have persisted in this belief had I not visited the office the day before leaving to ask about some final move out procedures. I was running myself ragged trying to pack and clean the place for moving day and had evidently forgotten to schedule a walkthrough. There was no longer time to do so and the manager felt that this sole error on my part was dire enough to warrant becoming inappropriately and unprofessionally aggressive and disrespectful. I left the office in complete shock and as the complex is privately owned I am still looking for anywhere it is possible to file a more formal complaint. If this doesn't bother you, know that the apartments are also old and at least in my building seem to have some troubling signs of structural decay on the supports for the balconies as well as somewhat questionable wiring. Breakers tripped constantly and a short in the light above my fireplace could have eventually caused an electrical fire if I had not warned management of the issue. (Rather than fix it, they evidently just cut the wiring to that light and left my living room in the dark for the last year I was there.) Really worth considering other places for standard or tdy rental before you place your trust in Enterprise. I have no doubt that, in addition to the large non-refundable pet fee (I believe it is called a "deposit" in the contract despite being non-refundable), they will be keeping my entire deposit in retaliation either for not scheduling a walkthrough or for posting this admittedly bitter review. Finding a rental in Altus is a challenge. There are very few apartments in this town and generally only a handful of houses. Finding a FURNISHED rental that allows pets in Altus seems akin to finding a unicorn at the end of a rainbow with Bigfoot holding a pot of gold. With so few options available here, and with all of our furniture in storage in another state, my husband and I knew we'd have to take whatever we could find in Altus. We were happy to find this place given our circumstances at the time, but six months later we are beyond thrilled to be moving out. As with any apartment community, Enterprise Square has its good and bad. I guess I can't speak for the condition of all the individual apartments, since ours is the only one I saw, but our particular second-floor one-bedroom apartment at Enterprise Square is very worn and run-down. Kind of dumpy. Put simply, these apartments are older and not well-built to begin with. In an effort to be fair, however, I will list the pros and cons as I see them. PROS: The location is convenient for us and I've never felt unsafe in the area. Onsite 24-hour laundry facilities are helpful since our apartment doesn't have washer/dryer hookups and this town seems to only have one laundromat. The furniture in our apartment is nicer and newer than I had expected, including a brand-new mattress on the bed. The rooms in our one-bedroom apartment are all a good size. The walk-in closet in the bedroom gave us ample storage space. The kitchen is on the small side, but has a lot of cabinet space. The rent, even for a furnished apartment, is pretty cheap. CONS: I am not exaggerating when I say these walls (and floors) are paper thin. We can hear all our neighbors, on all sides of (and below) us, when they are watching TV, or taking a shower, or having a conversation, or making dinner, or farting in bed. None of these things are done loudly, but the walls are SO thin that we can hear everything, not just the loud stuff. Our apartment is near the front of the complex and overlooks the parking lot, so we can also hear all the traffic from the road and cars coming and going in the lot. It is never, ever quiet here. Ever. At wit's end, we made the mistake of complaining to the apartment manager about a neighbor's constantly barking chihuahua (after first approaching the neighbor, who did nothing about it), only to find out the neighbor was the apartment manager's best friend. This earned us a lecture in being neighborly from the apartment manager, constant stinkeye and rude notes posted on our door from the neighbor, and no change in the barking dog situation. Lesson learned. The apartment manager is a gossip. For an older woman, she has the maturity of a teenager. Don't tell her anything that you don't want all her friends (and your neighbors) to know. I'm pretty sure she violated some privacy laws when she told our neighbors some of our personal information. Things in the apartment are surface clean, but poorly maintained. The carpeting is disgusting, dirty and matted and should have been replaced long before we moved in. The walls look freshly painted, but the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are filthy inside and sticky outside. The whole place needs a good, deep cleaning. I spent a lot of time cleaning when we first moved in and our apartment is definitely cleaner moving out that it was moving in. My advice? Find a place anywhere else, if you can. If you can't, buy yourself some earplugs and a calendar so you can count the days until you can move somewhere else. read more

Enterprise Square took care of us when the base didn't have any room! This is our second time through Altus and the day before our arrival they had a 2 bed/2 bath pet friendly apartment available for us. Becky, the property manager, helped us in anyway we needed. Our kiddos loved the pool and the grounds were well kept. The apartment had everything, maybe more, than a TLF. Bring your sheets, towels, food, and clothes and you are all set. read more

The management has changed in the last year and she is great! The complex is friendly well maintained and clean. The amenities are nice and my unit had an updated kitchen and bathroom. It's close to the base and everything else in Altus. They also have on sight maintenance which is sooo helpful. Had a good experience. Would live here again. read more
