Used this company for nearly 15 years. Not sure why but things have really changed with them and when an issue did arrive, out of fuel, only excuses made. No real effort to correct the problem. 5 days after letting them know we ran out with them now blaming me for the delays I decided it was time to go elsewhere. They used to come check the tank level repeatedly to be sure we did not run out. They had not checked it at all since they last filled it and said we should still have 27%(no tank monitor installed). I have always let them know our usage could vary. However looking back they usually filled about every 5 months. Which would have fit this time as well because we didn't run out until almost 6 months since our last fill. So even our usage was normal. Very disappointed, I have been a customer for 21 years and have always been happy with their service until recently. After 21 years I was told I would need to prepay for propane deliveries in the future as that is their new policy since changing owners. My question was, "how can I prepay if I don't know the amount of fuel to be delivered". I was immediately told to "F*CK OFF" by their manager Anthony Canfield who then proceeded to hang up on me. I'm writing my first negative review after consistently poor communication and business practices from Enviro Propane. I did not receive the initial invoice for my annual propane fee in the mail, if one was even sent. I later received a notice with late fees but no explanation of what service the bill was for. My multiple attempts to contact Enviro Propane by phone were unanswered, with requests for callbacks going unfulfilled. While the propane delivery service itself is mediocre at best, the lack of communication about billing and fees is unacceptable. Despite paying the fees once I finally received an invoice, I continue to incur late fees erroneously. During delivery, drivers also fail to notify me of their arrival despite my gate being locked and difficult to access without coordination. I wish I didn't have to write this review, but the lack of customer service and communication from Enviro Propane has been extremely disappointing. For a service-based company in particular, these failures show a lack of respect for customer time and money. My hope is that the company learns from this feedback to improve its business practices moving forward. read more

Enviro Propane was able to fill our tank on a short notice. They are nice to deal with and care about their customers.

Enviro serviced the home I purchased so we assumed we would continue using them. Set up an appt to sign the paper work and lease terms meaning someone would need to be home. I took the morning off of work to be able to complete the paperwork. The appointment time came and went and no one showed up. After an hour had passed, I called enviro since I did need to go into work in the afternoon. They stated someone would be there soon. 20 minutes later I receive a call stating the employee came to my home and knocked/rang the doorbell but I wasn't there so they canceled my appt and would need to reschedule. I was obviously waiting by my front door and have a ring doorbell. Nobody came. I told them this and they were extremely rude and told me I should've been home. I decided to see what other options there were out there since this was my very first experience and it wasn't going well. I ended up going with another propane company and let enviro know I wouldn't be conducting business with them. They were extremely rude. I then received an invoice months later stating they were billing us for pads and a regulator. The tanks were never on pads. In fact the tanks were illegally placed and when I had another company come out they had to hire someone to move them because they couldn't legally fill tanks that were in such a dangerous location. My new company put down their own pads. I didn't realize the new company used their regulator. I had them swap out and called enviro to tell them as well as question the bill. The owner was again, very rude and confrontational with me. On top of that, it's been over a year and they never came to get their regulator. read more

This business is awesome if you have propane. We found out last night after Thanksgiving dinner that we had a propane leak in our house and Enviro was so quick to help fix the problem and get heat back into our home. read more

I just had the best experience with Enviro Propane. My propane company, Propane Northwest (not to be confused with the much better Northwest Propane), also known as Thompson Gas and APP, really messed up my order. I had an autofill scheduled for Jan 6 and they missed it completely though I contacted them repeatedly. Their customer service person couldn't have cared less that we ran out and were without heat (water heater is electric). I called Enviro Propane for help. The sales guy, George, came out from Arlington within 3 hrs and brought some propane to get us through the night. They will send new tanks out and fill them up tomorrow. I called Skagit Farmers supply too but they had a 8-10 day wait and backlog. Enviro Propane really understands customer service and will get my business for the foreseeable future. read more

We have been customers of Enviro Propane for more than 6 years and have never had an issue. They have great customer service, the cost of the propane isn't breaking the bank (but it ain't cheap either), and their auto-fill service makes life easy. We ran out of propane on Christmas Eve. We knew something was wrong with the propane tank because the furnace shut off and we couldn't turn on our stove. After a call to their answering service, we received instructions and learned that our tank, which we thought was 85% full, was actually 5% full. The gauge must have gotten stuck in the cold. Someone came by after 11:30 at night on a snowy Christmas Eve and filled our tank free of charge (the propane wasn't free). I was (and still am) absolutely blown away. read more

During the power outage last week, our generator tank was running low. I called Enviro Propane after hours on Saturday. Our truck drive answered (he even knew what house we were once I told him the address) and talked me through reading our tank gauge. After reading it, he said I had about 24 hours left and to call back the next morning (Sunday) at 9 to confirm our gauge reading. In the meantime he would put a route together of generator tanks and make a run in our area that day. He was very nice and helped make us all feel taken care of during a stressful time. Going on my seventh year now as an Enviro customer and couldn't be happier. Really good folks to deal with, always willing to answer questions, and good pricing. A couple of examples of their great service: A few years ago I noticed a propane leak on one of our rented tanks. As luck would have it it was on a Sunday morning. I called their 24-hour number and got a callback within minutes. I expected to have to shut the tank off and wait until Monday, but a technician was out within an hour to repair the problem - no charge (due to the rental tanks). Since our home is on septic and well, we installed a propane-powered standby generator. During the process we dealt with Enviro several times as they helped us go through our tank layout options, plumbing, etc., Then they came out did the trenching and set up the propane for it. They were very honest throughout the process and the workmanship was great. read more
