Which was also causing immense pain during my menstrual cycle. I got a call back from the receptionist saying Heidi wouldn't prescribe anything outside of an Tylenol or ibuprofen which I was already taking 800-1000mg of. It was very careless and incredibly disappointing especially being with Heidi for years and her being fully aware of my situation of past miscarriages. I was shown no compassion at all. I ended up in the ER and had to pay for that on top of urgent care visit all due to lack of care from my primary doctor and of this establishment. As far as the staff, well, the girl that's literally the face of the office when you walked in did not seem like she was having a good day and didn't seem very friendly. At all. Outside of her poor interpersonal communication skills, the other staff seemed to be pleasant enough, but I would like to feel like I was welcome in the office rather than a stranger.... perhaps, a few more smiles, a few more hellos, or maybe a couple "welcome " would be advantageous for people who have white coat syndrome, like me. Just saying. And it's not like they were are hard a work.... I could hear them shooting the sh!t and laughing amongst themselves. Anyhow, I'd recommend Dr Norton and Delgado to everyone and anyone, because what it comes down to is quality of care. Sonya, her receptionist and medical assistant, has been employed there for many years. She has been so helpful when it comes to mapping appointments and getting referrals. It is a small office and practically a 2 woman show. If Sonya is unable to answer the phone, Dr. Sun answers the phone. Both are very helpful. Dr. Sun as a family practice doctor is very thorough. She takes her time. She is very soft-spoken, so for those with hearing problems, it is very difficult to understand her. I go to the appointments with my mom. I'm in the medical field. I understand her just fine. She is very polite and patient. She has referred my mom to wonderful specialists. She has taken care of my mom's health for many years and has done a fantastic job!
