This hotel/resort was great! They had 3 different pools, gym , gym classes, multiple on-site restaurants and access to the Albuferia beach . The staff here were great, super nice and welcoming. The food at the buffet was decent, the Japanese Restaurant Udomo was chef's kiss. Try the Chicken Kaarage. They turn down your bed at night and left chocolates and cleaned your room at various times. Breakfast was great, orange juice was ‼. Overall the dining on site was pricey but there were tons of local restaurants that were walkable from The resort. Would come back here again for sure! read more
I would like to say I spent a great relaxing week here at the hotel, but was here for a week long company meeting. On a side note and I have been to these types of events for many years, this by and far was the best hotel top to bottom I have had the pleasure of visiting. The customer service is fantastic. If you have a need, car, food, clothes cleaned. The staff will get it taken care of. The rooms are excellent, with a beautiful balcony. I would have taken some pictures but really never had a chance during the week. Unfortunately, my baggage was delayed so my first free day to explore and swim was hampered by still wearing the same clothes so I didn't end up getting to enjoy the beautiful pool. The showers and tubs are great and I really liked the rainfall head in the shower. It had a feature to keep you from getting too hot of water. The TV was great and had a few English language channels to watch. The internet worked well during the entire visit too. The food at breakfast is the best I have experienced and is included in your stay. They literally have pretty much everything. The highlight is the orange juice and citrus that was some of the best I have ever tasted. The baked items rolls, croissants, and sweet buns were all excellent. They included any type of coffee so I kept getting lattes too. The lattes make Starbucks look like a poor imitation. There are several bars on site as well as several restaurants. Sadly, I was already pretty booked for dinning activities during the week and didn't get to try the specialty restaurants. We did get a special event buffet lunch in the same restaurant that offers breakfast but that is not a typical offering. I did get lunch at the pool side restaurant which was an excellent Shrimp Salad. They do have a very good in room coffee machine as well with both coffee pod and espresso. I used all 4 each day for an extra boost in the morning. Also there is a near by market that's probably 1k away and you can walk to that has a good array of extra bottled water and soda to take back to the hotel. I reallocated space in the fridge to cool it down. There are no ice machines. There is a lot to see and do nearby and the hotel is around 30 minutes from the Faro airport. The dolphin sightseeing boat ride is the one event I was able to fit in and was quite fun. The weather during mid may was spectacular, clear sunny and perfect temperatures. I would love to return but it is an EPIC long airplane ride to get here from most USA locations unless you live in a city with direct flights to Lisbon, but well worth it. read more

During our first visit to the Algarve, we stayed here and were blown away. The hotel is visually appealing with very modern decor. And the lobby smells great. I'm a sucker for good smelling Hotels. The beach was a short walk down the hill and was equally pretty. The rooms at Epic Sana are quite spacious, with a rain shower and full sized tub in the bathroom. The mini bar was well stocked with the usual booze and a nice coffee/tea selection. All of the staff here far exceeded our expectations and couldn't do enough for you. The only negative were the outrageous drink prices. A simple mixed drink was over €13 which is unacceptably high for Portugal. Other than that, I can't wait to go back. read more

Wonderful resort located between Albuferia and Vilamoure. Contempory design in 3 floors that face either the ocean or the countryside. Excellent and friendly service. Breakfasts and dinner in the buffet restaurant are very good quality and provide plenty of choices. Two pools and a deck restaurant are available. A fine dining restaurant is also availabe and excellent. The Spa services are wonderful. Beautiful cliffs seperate the Epic Sana from the beach. A comfortable staiway leads down to the beach. It is possible to walk east to Vilamoure. A short walk west on the beach takes you to a lovely beach restaurant. read more

Love this place. Beautiful, modern clean. Staff is exceptional. It's a little out of the way if you want to spend time in the the local towns (10 Euro Uber to Albufiera) but so nice. Gorgeous beach as well with very few people. Rooms are modern and immaculate with great bathtubs. read more
