I love the entire menu here! From the wings to the breadsticks to their pizza sticks, you literally cannot go wrong here. My favorite are the tenderloin strips (better than boneless if you don't want traditional wings) with lemon pepper and mild sauce. Such a great combo! Their breadsticks are to DIE for, and I find myself coming here way more than I should to get a "snack" of 12 breadsticks. Their traditional wings are great too. They have a large selection of sauces, but I think the original style, no matter the heat level, is still the best. If you haven't tried their pizza sticks you aren't living. It's the best of everything in the restaurant all in one item. Cover it in ranch and it is life-changing. Don't forget to grab one of their great Jones soda's on the side! We love this place as a family. They have kids meals and single meals and best of all, $10.50 pitchers of GOOD beer. I like the Hot wings with lemon pepper seasoning mixed in. I think they could work on their customer service, example we are first timers so we were looking at the menu trying to decide if it would be better to get a bunch of small orders or the family size. The two guys just stood there talking o each other and didn't even offer any advice. I have been going here a long time (maybe 15 years at this location?). The wings are exceptional and I would give them a 5 for these alone. I used to go here at least once a month but I find myself only coming here twice a year now when they do their BOGO days since that makes the prices reasonable for a day. Prices shot up when there was chicken shortage but they never came back down so they are not a good value compared to other options now. Never looks very crowded anymore like it used to be. I still think it is good to come here for special occasions as the wings are really good. I also don't like the fact they don't take cash anymore on general principle. I'm pretty disappointed in the service I received today. I placed my order in advance and was quoted a 30 minute preparation time, so I scheduled my team's lunch around this as I was rewarding them for their hard work the prior month. I am a wing aficionado and have ventured to many wing establishments around San Diego. I was very disappointed in the size of my wings when I came in for a to-go lunch order. It looked like my wings came from the smallest chickens in the flock. I also was very sad that they did not close the lid to the container and my wing sauce spilled out all over the bag. The sauces were average and not particularly memorable so I would have to give this place an A-OK. So where do I go on my day off? I go to Wings-n-Things that's closer to my house! This location is bigger, has a better bar, and has the same delicious secret recipes that the other place has. The chicken is fried perfectly just as the other place and there's even a bar area! What to get? 4 Strip Combo medium, Bleu Cheese, Extra Wet. Extra wet?!?!? What does that mean? It means that that delicious (half butter) hot sauce is now dousing your chicken. To the point where you could use a soup spoon and DRINK it. I don't' mean one of those sissy soup spoons you see at souplantation, I mean those deep chinese soup spoons you see at Jasmine's. Yeah... pour that red goodness all over my strips. Great for dipping the bread in and dipping fries in. Oh that's another thing, I don't know what they do to their fries, but I like them! A LOT! Now keep in mind Fries are one food that is VERY subjective. Just look at all the in-n-out fries vs. McD's fries vs. Jack In The Box fries camps.
