We couldn't believe the service he provided for a very modestly priced home. We gave him very specific needs that we wanted and then I don't know how many times we changed them on him. He had information lightening fast to us, he would update us in a timely manner, he did research on the properties we were interested in and apprised us of any pros/cons we should consider. This is a second home and so we didn't know the area well. He gave us solid advise on negotiating and recommended a price for the property that we finally did purchase that was below what we thought they would consider. D.P. Consultant, was referred to us by a family member. We were hoping for a honest contractor to…read moredo our backyard landscaping. We provided a detail drawing of our design, he said he could do it, no problem that he "wanted to give us our dream". The purpose of this landscaping was just to get the backyard usable without mud! There was a tremendous amount of "misunderstandings". We talked different things that could be done, but presented him with a clear concise picture of what we were asking for. He does not listen. He did things we did not ask for and did not do things we did ask for. And he complained and billed us for the time and materials for the things we did not ask him to do. He erroneously estimated we needed 4500 sq, feet of sod, and under that amount we did not have enough money in the budget, however that amount was completely incorrect. It did not register with me at the time, that his measurement was wrong, But it was way off, I asked him how he got that number and he suggested conversations that did not happen. Not understanding why there was not money in the budget for the most important part of the project I offered $1000.00 to purchase the sod and put down the irrigation. He told me that would help. He and I re-measured and found that we only needed 1800 sq ft of sod(?). This is what the extra $1000. was supposed to buy. We had a verbal and written agreement. We have no irrigation, we have no sod and HE REFUSES TO REFUND THE $1000.00 we gave him to make those specific purchases". He was paid for the job he did not the one he said he would do. He is not to be trusted. He has taken money and kept it. DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU ARE TOLD. TAKE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, RECORD YOUR CONVERSATIONS, THINGS CHANGE WITHOUT ANY NOTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY DOES NOT EXIT-AT LEAST ON HIS PART.
