The stars aligned this day bc I was lucky enough to make a same day appointment. I was in uncomfortable pain from evidently restarting my workout routine too enthusiastically. I needed the stretching & techniques of a traditional Thai massage. I'm happy to say, that's what I got. :) The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place has a calm zen vibe, the massage rooms are nicely appointed and clean. I actually exhaled heavily when I walked into the room saying "Oh yes!!!", I knew from what I saw, it was going to be a great massage. There are Ashiatsu bars on the ceiling, dim lights, a very comfy looking bed, a robe, etc. My masseuse communicated with me about pressure or if I had a question or comment. Nothing was out of my comfort level. Others mentioned how cold it is there; it was a little chilly at first, but I totally didn't notice any chill after we got started. Another comment was hearing talking through the walls; I didn't experience that either. I went around 4:00 on a week day. I definitely will return. It was a good, much needed massage. Most importantly, I was pain free & relaxed when I left my 90 minute session. read more

I was looking for a massage place, just wanting to relax my tired muscles and work out my sore legs. It's partially on me that I didn't do my research between a Thai massage and a swedish massage. Booking online was easy and they had slots where you could pick what day and time. I looked at past reviews on therapists to avoid and picked 'Jessica' with a deep tissue massage. When I arrived, the business almost looks like someone's home with a living room and back rooms. I was asked if I have an appointment and offered water. You do have to pay in advance, but I opted to leave the tip open until after the massage It took about 10 minutes to setup the room and then they ask you to take off your clothes and get under the sheet. This was one of the most painful massages I've ever gotten. Not because of the pressure, which was good, but the extreme yoga positions she was forcing my body into and then putting all her weight on me. At times, it felt like I was being tortured the bending angle and pressure was pretty painful. Not what you want to feel when getting a Thai massage for the first time. She did ask me if I was ok, a few times but no communication otherwise. I beared with it. My aches in my legs and arms were filling better than night. However, when I came out of the room and notice the receptionist had written my therapists' name on there and it was not Jessica but Sophia. So what's the point of being able to choose the therapist when online? This was never communicated to me. Anyway, part of it was my ignorance about Thai massages, but I also felt a little confused since it wasn't the therapist I asked for and it wasn't relaxing. Also not sure if I actually received a deep tissue massage or something wlse. It was pretty expensive for 1 hour as it was close to $100 with tip. Safe to say, I won't be coming back and will find a normal massage place next time. read more

I was looking for a massage place that is close to where I live, and I had a friend recommend this location to me. Everyone here is very friendly, and the facility is clean. I liked the calming music when I went inside. The appointments are easy to book online with plenty of availability. I was very pleased with how friendly and gentle they are with my massage. My massage therapist kept checking to make sure I was ok with the level of pressure throughout my massage. They also do focus a lot on the areas that you mention to them that you want emphasis on. You won't be able to fall asleep during a Thai massage but you'll definitely walk out feeling loose and relaxed! We always book the 90 min couples massage and they're always able to accommodate us on the same day. Don't be afraid to be vocal and let them know to add/lessen pressure. I'm deducting a star since their walls aren't soundproof and we can hear people talking outside. We heard a toddler crying out in the waiting area on our last visit... Also, my last masseuse was a guy and I had to tell him on three separate occasions during the 90 minute massage to lessen the pressure. Though it was a little vague on the type of massage i was going to receive i was very pleased. The beds were soft and clean the masseuse friendly and smiling. I had an hour long massage with trigger point and deep pressure along with some softer stroking movements in some areas. She stretched my body in so many ways popped so many areas it was amazing. First time getting a deep tissue massage ever. The left side of my back was soo tense and Mindy did a great job at working in that area. It was painful due to the the tension but I could feel the difference afterwards. Mindy also stretched my body, cracked it, and did a hot stone massage. To start off I've been highly stressed end of the year reports, taxes, and my business is going through an expansion, my tears have been falling left and right so I said go get a massage somewhere. I went in for a 60 minute Thai massage, I found this place through reviews. I'm being honest transparency is very important. Upon arrival I was let in the establishment and was instructed to sit on the couch. A few people about 6 paid for their services and received water they were intrigued by their experiences. So I'm like okay that's a good sign. BUT the lady walks up to me and asked me to come and pay, I asked why am I paying before my actual service, do everyone else pay prior before their service? She stated yes they didn't because we had to take them back when they got here. I didn't like that at all. I have a full functioning spa of 4.5 years I've never had our clients pay before receiving a service especially if everyone isn't required to pay before hand. I don't appreciate that. So automatically my hopeful experience was dampened. She then take me to my room. The rooms are freezing, she turned on a bed warmer which I couldn't feel.. and got be another blanket.. the aromatherapy was nice but with my skin being dampened I was freezing... my therapist was nice I left feeling relieved of my stresses that I carry in my shoulders. I like that the massage beds are wider, but I can't get over the cold. If you like cold therapeutic this is for you. I love receiving spa treatments it's what I do, everyone's motto and mission statement is different I like a different vibe however it's worth a try I guess it won't hurt if you keep all these things in mind. 1st time visitor (appt for 90 min Thai Yoga massage with aromatherapy and hot stones) Upon arrival I was impressed with the dual entry for added security. The Thai themed decor really set the stage and the place was clean. The staff encounter, though brief, was professional. The lady who checked me in, reviewed my intake form, including the areas I wanted the MT to concentrate on and she asked me what pressure I wanted and I specified deep. But............... The massage room was cold 3 times during the session the MT wiped portions of my body with the nice warm towels; however, since the room was cold I too became cold after the wipe down. The wipe down could have been saved until the end of the session. Massage oil was not warm, the only thing warm/hot were the stones. MT was noisy, kicked the wastebasket twice. knocked over several bottles atop the counter and she just didn't move with a smooth flow during the session. She kept getting off the massage bed to get more oil....her walking back and forth was very annoying. What topped it all off and made this experience so frustrating is the fact that the MT DID NOT PERFORM deep tissue massage. It was more of lite strokes, which is fine for folks that's looking for that. But deep tissue is all that works for me, which I left there feeling the same as I did at arrival, still tensed muscles. NO RELIEF at all. I ended up going to another massage salon 7 hours later for a 60 min session and it was amazing. I've had one expensive day out. read more

I was already in the area after a 3 hr drive from Austin so I walked in and all the therapists were confused about what am I doing there like "do you even have an appointment?.. what is your name?".... poor management. Of course! I called and made an appointment and you requested I confirm which I did! I got there at 4. They came in at 4:37p finished at 5:30p. Sophia was terrible, there was a point in time in the beginning that she stops for about 4-5 minutes. In the beginning i requested DEEP DEEP TISSUE. Yes I have to emphasize because of course Sophia just slathers the entire bottle of oil all over me. She is lazy and doesn't even wipe off the oil with the towel. Most likely she is inexperienced because she had zero technique and would miss things she would do on one side and not the other. The most tacky business ethics they would make you pay upfront. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It's absolutely ridiculous for the shit service you receive, they steal time from you and call this bullshit a massage. The therapists were gossiping about my experience in the front and right when I open the door they stopped. When we vocalized how bad Sophia was they just stared at me. Jessica was the other therapist in the room and as she was walking out "Are you okay??" and that was it. Go down to Thai Healing Massage! You will enjoy it better! read more

As a senior, I have hip and knee problems, and we traversed all that with a truly deep massage and stretch. Obviously tight muscles speak up, but the end result is worth it.
